Called in and wasn't professional at all, just " Hello "
Not the way to great your customers calling in on the phone.

Walked in multiple times & never see customers in there & don't take walk-ins.

Today, Sunday Aug 20, I had an appointment booked for 11 a.m, except no one (employees) showed up! Store is still closed as of noon. So I extend the courtesy of cancelling my appointments on other days with lots of notice, yet they couldn't even inform me my appointment wouldn't happen? Super bad customer service.

Alyssa is a very careful and good hairdresser. Today I went in for a curly haircut and got exactly what I was looking for! Not only made my hair look stunning but brought my confidence up too!

Way overpriced for a 13 year old girls trim. Not even an inch was taken off and they charged $60+

I visited the Chatters in Woodgrove Centre today. After about 5 minutes of wandering around I was asked if I needed help. I told the clerk what I wanted and they had no idea what I was talking about.this is a common brand that they carry. Then another clerk came over and she showed me the brand but not the products I was looking for. No other products were suggested or recommended and they walked away. Perhaps they couldn't be bothered with a mature woman or maybe they just treat everyone like this? I will not be back.

7 months of no hair dye. Jay took my half gray mess and turned it into a thing of beauty! I asked for gray-blending and this is what happened. Big improvement, huge.

This place has always been my go-to reasonably priced haircut salon. I don't think I'd go here for complicated color jobs, but they do a fine job with the cuts and so I can't complain!
It's hit and miss with the stylists, whenever you find one you reeeaaaaallllly like, you find out that they've moved on. Overall though they've been really pleasant and nice, $40 haircuts & style, sometimes they have Olaplex treatments on sale. You can't really go wrong here and I'll keep coming here forever.

Update 2023: they still do a great job, haircuts have gone up to $60 now.

**edit** It is not always the experience that makes you go back, but how they handle the issue. Chatters reached out to me in a very compassionate way. They made me feel heard. I will return and try again. Kudos to the Chatters head office team.
Had an early afternoon appointment with Jess F on April 30th. I was having scheduling issues with my regular hairdresser and really needed a good trim off my shoulder blade length hair. Was looking for a new stylist that better fits my schedule. It seems JF is here for a job, not a career. I felt rushed and unimportant. I explained I was currently in a very stressful situation, she didn't seem to care. She did not interact with me unless I asked her questions about her life. She washed my hair, but did not use conditioner while I was at the sink. Did she use leave in later? I wonder if she was proud of the cut she gave me. If I could describe my visit? Wham, bam, give me your money ma'am. I don't know why I gave a 15% tip, but I did. Would I use her again? No. Would I visit Chatters again? More than likely not, but you never know. A hair stylist is a feeling, I didn't get a good one this time. The place was clean and booking is easy. Lots of hair care products to purchase, but I did not get asked if I needed any. Odd for a place that has such a huge selection with an opportunity to upsell. I think she just wanted to be finished. Oh well, it is what it is. I got my hair cut.

If you have long hair I would not recommend coming here, I went in with long hair and left with just below shoulder length hair. Also I was never offered a shampoo or a style I had no idea this was even included.
(i was offered for my hair to be straightened.my hair is already straight.)
When I did find out I should of been offered a shampoo and style later
when I checked online, I called in and was just offered $10 off my next hair appointment and that I should of been told.
I would never recommend Anybody coming here for a haircut.
The only up side was that my hair dresser was nice and interesting to talk to.

I do not recommend this place! My day was ruined after haircut. I will never come back there.

After an upsetting haircut from another salon my daughter is now happy going to Chatters-especially to see Jess who always does her hair to her liking.

My wife likes going here. Always a decent cut/style and you can get some pretty good deals on hair products.

I find that for hair it is either a hit or a bit of a miss for me. I am a bit fussy, but I left with virtually no bang.that could be a look but one I asked not to have before we started
