Chatters Hair Salon

I thought I would do something nice for my spouse for her birthday and booked her into chatters at summit. I was told over the phone a price of 218 plus tax which in it self is crazy. She walks out of there with a bill of $420 dollars! What a joke! Never again. Save your money and go elsewhere. The cut looks great BTW but that is highway robbery. Not funny at all. Never ever again will she walk through your doors.

I went for a haircut on December 12 from Alan and i loved it. So my 17 year old son, who was in much need of a trim went to the same hairdresser. Not only did Alan give my son exactly what he wanted, he sent my son out of the salon with a smile. That made us both very happy. Alan, my son and I can't think you enough for doing what you do. I really hope that more people in kamloops and area discover how phenomenal you are.

I had a hair disaster at home and they were able to book me in last minute and the stylist didn’t amazing job with cutting and fixing my hair for me.and even though I showed up a bit late for my appointment and they were about to close they were very polite and helpful. I will definitely be returning to get my haircut there again next time I am very satisfied.

I called them yesterday to book an appointment. When I called for the appointment the first sentence I said was, "I had my perm done last year, I just want to have the root touch up. " Apparently, she booked me with the hair color person for the same day.
When I went there person was ready to colour my hair when I wanted perm done. Hairdresser was nice n apologetic. But the person who booked the wrong appointment had guts to walk to my face n tell me that I didn't say anything about perm and never even apologize.
'this person' who thinks being overly confident and arrogant to a calm customer would help to save her job is just not the right attitude. People have lost their time, energy (even the hair dresser who she booked me with). Instead of acknowledging her mistake, she put it on the customer. NOT ACCEPTABLE

My first time at chatters in October 2022 was not so great, I felt not listened to she did nothing like the photos and charged me $240 for a money piece and she put a extremely dark toner I went home and cried it wasn’t great….

Anyways I really wanted. My hair done so I booked with a different stylist she made me feel listen to from the start even before my appointment was booked! At the appointment She was consistently asking me if I was comfortable and needing anything.she did a beautiful balayage! I left feel like a pretty princess witch I have never felt ever after getting my hair done, she even took the time to help with shampoo. So if you need someone who will make sure you are listen too go with Emily I cannot recommend her enough! And she is the reason why it’s a 5 star review!

I walked in with no appointments almost the last minute on a Saturday. The reception lady Jessa was very helpful and shared her smile with me and helped me to get in with the amazing guy Leo! Very skilled hair stylist with a great understanding of what my need is l, and did an amazing job. Very skilled and in detailed! I am going to be Leo’s customer very time from now!

Absolutely disappointing.decided to treat my self for cut and highlight color. I walked in with pretty light highlights already with about 2" brunette growout. I walked in hoping to color my growout and lightened my highlights. Talked to my stylist that I would like 'platinum blonde highlights' if possible but was open to suggestions. She suggested 'silver' and recommend me a darker base color to highlight them.me thinking more like 'Cruella pic 1' type of silver (atleast 90% light silver/blonde) and (10% dark in the roots only). The outcome: my whole head 90% dark with a few foils of light brown.all of my previous highlights gone.not impress. Walked out with both ears burning and dye stain on my neck, forehead, nose and ears.

They offered me to come back at no charge to add/fix my foils/highlights.in which I returned the following weekend.

I rebooked with another color stylist and god bless her. I was there for 5 hours bleaching my hair.had my whole head redone again with new highlights. Unfortunately, because my base color was so dark from the week prior it came out only a little lighter from black to brown highlights and that's it. So yeah.absolutely not the color stylist fault but also not worth the $300 dye job + the redo time. At this point my head felt fried including both ears and I'm done. Still itching and redness in both ears no matter how much i wash it.

I am trying really hard to like this location and not be a difficult customer; but things were not great from start to finish. I am not a materialistic person.but I walked out with my phone case, my black jeans and black ROOTS leather shoes with bleach stains that i cannot obviously remove. To be fair, they were accidents and not intentional but with $300 for hair that I will now have to tolerate for the next couple months, jeans and ruined shoes that I will probably never wear again is just very disappointing.

This is the worst hair place ever!
They charged me $400 to do my hair and it is totally not what wanted at all!
Now they won’t return my money and they expect me to go back to the same person that screwed up my hair to begin with!

Do not go here, they rip you off!

Friendly staff and clean well kept salon. Plenty of product to shop from as well. Fair pricing for all hair lengths and very happy with my cut. Go see stylist Mary B for your color or cut.

Pleasant team, good service. Clean and orderly, prompt with appointments and reminders. I love my stylist Hyeon. She's gifted, creative and very pleasant. I enjoy coming in to the shop. I'd love to see Chatters use far less plastic and more refillable products. These hair product manufacturers would do well to get on board with current sustainability goals.

What's the point of booking an appointment when they phone less than hour before and cancel on you. I could have gone somewhere else if I had more noticed.

What's the point of booking an appointment when they phone less than 2 hrs before and cancel on you.

I showed up 5 mins early for my appointment at 9AM today, and proceeded to wait an additional 20 mins because my stylist hadn’t even arrived yet. I totally understand life happens but I left and never got a text or apology from her and my time was wasted.

Every time I go here i dont feel happy. I always get half what I asked for my haircut. I guess its time to change hair cuting place

Had an excellent experience! My hair stylist brightened my blonde up, and gave me an excellent cut. The stylist who cut my daughters hair followed instructions perfectly and curled it for her making her feel like a princess!

I had my hair done this week at Chatters salon in the Summit Shopping Center, my stylist was Faith. Her communication with me during the consultation was great - she really listens and also gives very good advice. She was very clear on what the result would be before we started. Faith is very professional and knowledgeable and also super friendly and approachable. Her attention to detail is fantastic and she is clearly well trained and has very good technique. She has great product and trend knowledge, I left with some great new products that work really well with my hair type. My cut, color and style is absolutely fabulous, I love it!
Faith is very confident in her skills and I highly recommend her if you’re looking for an excellent stylist.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted right away by very friendly staff. I was in to get my hair cut by Leah for the first time. She is amazing! She even took the time to help me pick out a better shampoo and conditioner! I will definately be a returning customer. Thanks Leah and team!

I visited chatters salon last wed the 20th of Jan (my birthday) and Kali did a fantastic job! She listened to what I wanted done, and then did an amazing job of my colour and cut! Having long thick hair it is hard to find someone that knows how to use just scissors. Jin is a very skilled stylist. Thank you for another great cut.

One of your stylists did a wonderful job the other day with fixing what another stylist couldn't do. I was frustrated and in the end, the other stylist just didn't know enough about color. In any case, I"m very happy with my hair. I have been going to Chatters since I moved here almost three years ago, and my only slight criticism would be with respect to styling. I always bring a hair clip or something like that to put in my hair afterwards because I never get a good style with my service. I make sure I have nothing else to do after an appointment but go home as a result. I think that when someone drops over $200 they should leave with their hair looking like a million bucks! Part of the problem is that the stylists never want to use any product, so I leave with limp flat hair. I have seen ladies come in specifically for a style for a special even perhaps, and leave with a lovely do, but I think every service should come with that level of style.

Lovely stylists that listen and offer great suggestions for hair cuts, services and products! They turn my hair from straw to silk!

Ive been going to the same hair dresser for over 5 years. They give a free gift when you get your hair colored and offer good advise for products to use on my hair.

Jayme is fantastic! She always does a great colour. It is so nice when Chatters gives free product included with the price of a colour. Chatters has some of the best prices in the city for hair product. Prices are quite reasonable compared to other salons.

Rudest person, I have ever met. When I walked in she was giving me a dirty look and and the first thing she says to me is "can I help you? " with the meanest tone ever. I literally did nothing but walk in.before I came in I was looking at the hemp lotions, even then she was looking very unwelcoming I was a bit hesitant to come in.but other then that lovely set up!

Such an amazing experience today with Kali! She's a hair goddess:) took my brassy orange hair to a lovely icy blonde with a root smudge and my hair is healthier than it was when I walked in! Definitely recommend chatters hair salon. ️️️️

Hyeon has been handling my hair for nearly 3 years now and I cannot see myself ever changing stylists! She pays close attention to what you want and delivers what you expect PLUS styles your new hair with expert care so you leave feeling like a celebrity!

She has been dealing with my long hair and I gave her the task of giving it a real chop into a medium length style with lots of layering, feathering, bangs and waves and she nailed it! I really wish I didn't have to wash out the nice job of styling she did too haha!

Terrible they cut my 5 years hair so off of what i asked for that i thought i was crazy terrible they need to learn to listen i wont be back
