Chef Hung Taiwanese Beef Noodle

Portion sizes are good. They give have a tasty range of lunch dishes. And they have some offers for drinks. Specially happy hours items are really worth to try

Two employees were smoking at the front door when I got there within about 2 feet. Staff were distracted and inattentive. I won't be going back.

Ordered the A2 noodle. For some reason, the soup tasted a little watered down compared to the last time I had it (at the Aberdeen location). Next time I'll just go to Red Beef Noodle Kitchen for Taiwanese Beef Noodle.

Although I didn't expect amazing service from a food place located at SFU, I did expect the bare minimum level of service which I didn't get. The restaurant was not busy at all but I had to go to the front counter in order to get anyone's attention. Even when I wanted to pay, I just waited at the front counter while the staff just went on their phones. As an alumni, I normally wouldn't care as I know how boring the job can be since it was a Sunday night and we're on a mountain so how much business can there be? However, the service was pretty bad, not going to lie.

Not sure why the reviews are so low. I disagree with popular opinion. Food is delectable. Staff is cordial. Honest to goodness I am shocked they have only 2.8 stars on Google. In my opinion it should be closer to 4 star or higher. 5 stars from me! Beautiful little noodle house. If you have not been here before, don't be deterred by their rating on Google. Is not accurate!

It’s crazy how many things they have on the menu and each one is amazing. I came one night from SFU campus but everything was closed except the noodle house. I didn’t expect that I would be back the next morning. The watermelon shaved ice was so good and I even tried their beef noodle soup and corndog, both being so amazing and fresh. It was an amazing experience and I would definitely come back every once and then!

Had the A16 today! The soup was very good and was a big portion. Noodles were also a nice texture. Friendly service as well. My go-to comfort food and will visit again!

After Pearl House was gone for a while, we came across Chef Hung. And we never go back to Pearl House.

Idk why it has less rating but my experience with food and service is amazing! They deserve east 5!

I tried other Chef Hung before and it is my FAVORITE BEEF NOODLE IN TOWN. But this location.not recommend. Not like West Van, UBC, Richmond.
Small meat portion, soup was not hot enough.etc.

The salt level is dangerous.

The beef is so salty it stings.

Noodle texture is okay.

Chef Hung would not be proud of this franchise location.

Got the cold house milk tea and it tasted like milky water.

I went back and they said it's because of the sweetness level we got.but sweetness doesn't have anything to do with it tasting like water? (literally no tea taste)

they offered to make us new ones but it still tasted like water only slightly better.pls dont get milk tea from this place.

Beef noodles were tasty and good but the amount of beef (thin slices) weren't generous enough to justify the price. I can get a better deal from Hiro Sushi at $10.5. I'm hoping for improvements on this issue and will be checking on the restaurant in the future. Also if you're staff can polish more on their customer service skills I bet you'll get more clientele.

Never ever visit. Absolutely terrible service (+racist toward non Chinese). The whole place is run by students that cannot speak any English. 6 of my friends visited the restaurant together and nobody finished the food due to the mediocre taste and the rude service. The server messed up the order due to her English, then started swearing in Mandarin. Despite being non-Chinese myself, I speak Mandarin and the workers were making racist comments toward my friends.

I love everything on their menu. Sometimes the staff do not pay attention to the customers and we are kind of left waiting for them to notice us when we want to order. Service is not satisfactory but not horrible either. Food is great.

Very cheap beef noodle! Only 4 very tiny beef with this price! Only 1/3 of regular beef noodle! First and last visit here!

Absolute sucks. 15 bucks food with a 5 bucks taste. Any other restaurant near is way better (togo sushi excluded of course).
