I have been a fan of Cherry Bomb toys for years, since I found and brought home an original Lego 2007 UCS Millennium Falcon back in 2014. These days I am a contributor of old collectibles rather than a buyer, but I love to browse through their stock whenever I wander downtown. Great place to find thing from your childhood, whether that was 10 years ago or 50. Very knowledgeable staff and staunch supporters of the community (e.g. Capital City Comic Con). P.s. They have an original boxed 2007 UCS Millennium Falcon in stock right now for the diehard 'original' Lego fans.

They had a great selection of vintage and newer toys; lots of action figures. Staff were great to deal with and the store was well laid-out and tidy, which considering the amount of toys in the store was kind of remarkable!

There are so many of my favorite childhood toys in this store. Great place for finding collectables and rekindling the childhood spirit. Ask about the toy museum upstairs. It is by donation and worth a few bucks to check out. The staff are helpful and very knowledgeable.

Fantastic store for buying antique or even somewhat recent retired toys. Amazing selection, especially for Lego! 10/10 for any Lego or old toy fans!

A family run store with a vibe that all those that enter are like old friends. The staff are amazing and know the products really well (this is not easy with vintage items) I always go in when I visit Victoria and they all know me by name. Never have left without finding a gem I either wanted or did not know I needed. Also the museum on the top floor is a must see it will take you back in time with the history of toys. This is a must visit place for the toys, the memories and the staff.

Amazing selection of retro toys from your childhood (even if that goes back 50 years ago). Lots of items you might not find elsewhere. First floor is like a museum of toys, except you can actually buy them. Price tags are very clearly presented for everything so you dont have to wonder or worry about asking the staff. However the staff are very helpful, friendly and happy to answer any questions or pull something out of the display for a closer look. Prices seem reasonable for many collectables, not like some places that seem to gouge. Upstairs is the Canadian Toy Museum, so that means even more toys, except these ones you can't buy. It's not all that big, but they pack a LOT into the space. Worth taking a look at, especially for toys from the 70s, 80s, and 90s. Admission by donation. Next time I'm in Victoria again, I'll definitely be back.

Amazing place. They have a ton of really cool items for very reasonable prices and the staff are super, super friendly. Definitely recommend stopping by to shop or check out the toy museum!

When you first step in the shop, you are warmly greeted by the staff who are happy to help you look for whatever you need. The toy selection is huge. Transformers, G. I. Joe's, my little pony, Star wars, Star Trek, so much more and new stuff coming in everyday. They are also the home the National toy museum of Canada. So if you are ever in Victoria. Come down to the shop and step back time to your childhood.

Best Staff you have to keep going and creepin the stock but that is fun! In addition to having a safe place for the nerds and collectors, they help a number of charities and host the toy fair and comic con.

I noticed My Pet Monster sitting in a high up place but found out it's not for sale because it is part of the toy museum. The employee pointed out another smaller My Pet Monster that was for sale, but I wasn't interested in it and left the store at that point due to the employee. During the entire interaction, the employee came across as an immature loudmouth with no manners or professionalism at all. At first, I didn't realize he was even an employee because he was too busy chit chatting with his buddy. Truthfully, I very rarely frequent downtown anymore and haven't been to your store in years, but it seems like your employee standards have dramatically slipped. I also noticed other customers in the store at time asking another employee several questions but he didn't seem to know anything at all. Having staff like this run your store conducting themselves in this manner doesn't project a good image for the store or make someone want to return in the future. This experience has dampened Christmas as I left empty handed but more importantly with a very bad taste in my mouth.

Vintage retro toy Mecca. Must see. It it’s a toy remember, know and love they probably have it. New old stock constantly. Also new local items frequently. Highly recommend.

Pro tip: check out the meticulously curated toy museum upstairs. You won’t be disappointed.

A gem in the heart of downtown. If you like to reminisce or collect old school toys, games and figurines, you gotta check this place out! Their toy museum is closed right now, but if you ever get a chance to check it out, it's a must see!

Cherry Bombis a must-see attraction for anyone visiting Victoria. The toy museum, sadly closed due to covid, is absolutely amazing. Everyone should pop in and at least buy a sticker before we lose one of victoria's best hidden gems.

Bought a Hot Toys figure online from them and received the item quickly. The figure sadly was defective with no fault of Cherry Bomb. They promptly helped me work out a replacement from the distributor and were super friendly and awesome to work with.

The staff here are super friendly and so knowledgeable that you will learn things you didn’t even know were possible to know about any and all toys that have ever been made. Seriously, challenge them and be amazed!

This is not, I repeat NOT, your average toy store!

Oh! And the toy museum! What a super fun trip down memory lane! Admission by donation makes this an affordable must see!

Cherry Bomb Toys is the bomb, so many great toys and that was only part of the store that I saw. Found what were looking for ans very quick. It's great when the people who run the place arw Fanatics of what they sell. Great service, good pricing, cant even find some of their stuff online which in my mind says alot! I've been a fan of this place ever since they had their location on Courtney Street. This store is essentially heaven for nerds. Their selection of collectibles and memorabilia will make you smile as soon as you walk in the front door!

It might be nice if you could have websites display when you are closed. Walked over a mile to get there found out it was closed for the day even though the website said otherwise.

Happiest place in Victoria! An excellent vintage toy store, with tons of used and new toys. They have large sections dedicated to Star Wars, GI-JOE, My little pony, and much more pop culture icons. Staff working there is super helpful. They also have several bins with cheap random toys. This store shares location with a toy museum. A must-see in this city!

Been here many times and it's just a fantastic place all around. (As are the exceedingly charming and friendly staff!) Great for gifts, or finding old toys you haven't seen since you were a kid to tickle your nostalgia. Also one of the best places in town for nerdy memorabilia. Cherry bomb should be a frequent stop for the kid in all of us!

Absolutely the kindest people you’ll ever meet. They are so passionate about what they do, every part of that store is built and run on hard work and love of the hobby. Totally worth checking out if you’re a kid or an adult as the store caters to any and all interests regarding toy collecting. If they don’t have it, they’ll know about it and likely be able to help you track it down. Extremely knowledgeable on all things nerdy, a must visit when you’re out and about downtown! Even if it’s just to check out their awesome and ever changing window display!
