Really like this nail salon. Great selection
of colors staff is very knowledgeable and kind. I only rate them a 4 because they do need a bit of updating. I would recommend them to a friend.

ChiNails has been my go to for almost 5 years. They are affordable and always do a great job.

What really kills me about this experimce is I had been a regular client for a substantial amount of time, brought my husband and this is how they treated me. The technicians here are ok but really there are only a couple that are really good however don’t bother trying to book an appointment as these times are more like guesstimates. I had made an appointment with a specific technician, I tthis was the same tech I requested everytime I had my nails done there. I was on time for my appointment however they gave the technician to & a walk in client? They tried appeasing me by having another technician tstart removing the nails I had on, though I just wanted a fill, clearly they thought they would try to keep me occupied until the technician I wanted was finished doing the fill for the walk in client? They could tell I was pissed, I think at that point even the technician was aware they screwed up. NOT GOOD To TREAT a Regular client that way. However, I found a great technician at flexi Nail, he does a great job!

I’ve been getting my nails and waxing at this place for years and I’ve always had good experience. Nice friendly owners. Friendly staff. Nice results

They are kind and curtious and you definitely get your moneys worth. My nails look great and last until my next visit. I highly recommend Chi Nails.

Oh wow everyone was so helpful and friendly. They were busy but manage to fit me in. I got a mani and pedi and got my nails done with a really nice purple. Tara was amazing. We talked and laughed. It was a great afternoon.

Great mgmt. Service is great. Always accomodating. Great pedicures and manicures. Never feel rushed like other nail salons.

I’ve been going to Chi Nails for 9 years. It’s is simply the best and most consistent service. I am never disappointed!

I was going every 1-2 months. I always use Jenny for my acrylics. I think she does a terrific job.
It’s unfortunate that they raised the rate, and with taxes included comes out to almost 16% increase.
So now Jenny gets a smaller tip.
Why do they do this to their own employees? Did they give their employees a raise?
So, I really like this place but I’m getting sick to death of paying higher prices yet my paycheques stays the same.
Now that we are kind of past COVID I would appreciate getting the service they used to give. You used to get more of a massage on your legs and arms. More personal service.
I really like this place, but at the end of the day I will put up with a few broken nails will have to wait an extra week b4 I go. Jenny gets less of a tip.

Always my partner and I's favorite nail salon. The ladies are super nice and good at what they do.

Probably my last time I'll be coming here. Been coming for years but after the last experience and lack of customer service. I'm disappointed. Many of the staff that did a good job are no longer working here and the quality has gone down unfortunately. My nails for my honeymoon did not even last 2 days and when I told management they didn't offer even an apology forget trying to correct their error. Disappointed, was my go-to place for years and I come on a monthly basis.

After getting a full set of acrylic nails, I had to come back 3 days later as the nails were poorly added on over my natural nail bed on 3 nails, and the pattern was very uneven on one nail. My natural nail was also filed down to the skin on 3 nails.

The woman doing my nails had what I think was nail fungus - her nail was yellow and thick and looked inflamed. One of my nails began hurting about 2 weeks after getting them done, and is now inflamed, red, and hurts to touch. I believe it is fungus. I'm unsure if I got it from the woman who did my nails as it is possible to get nail fungus from water being trapped under the nail - however this is a very big coincidence if I do say so myself.

I got my manicure and shellac nails from this place. She did not even take 15 mins to do it. Manicure was not good at all and shellac started coming off within 2 weeks. Never going back.

I use to enjoy their services before especially their pedicures but now it’s been really bad. Their service, their products everything has changed and been really bad. Also they have made the prices too high. I remember paying $30 for a pedicure and $45-50 for a full set. Now it’s double the price. I paid $50 for a shellac pedicure which is ridiculous. And almost $100 to have a simple design on a full set. Not worth your money. Skip this place.

Got a fill from this place (first time) she didn't explain anything and didn't tell me about the rxtra charges. She filed them way to much so the edges look bad and are bubbling. Charged me 70 for a fill! Super not worth it.

It was easy to make an appt. The technician was technically good and understood what look I was going for. She was just conversational enough. I'm over 2 weeks out from my manicure and it still looks awesome.

I’ve always went to this salon for years never had issues for my shellac pedis.
I’m very prone to ingrown toenails and I always get them to cut the sides for me and dig out anything that’s hurting me.
This lady didn’t do both toes only one and a couple days later my toe has swelled up on one side and hurts just to even walk on it.
She may not be even sanitizing her tools for this to happen and it’s been days now and it is spreading
So I’m pretty shocked that it happened and upset because This could go wrong real fast

I have been going to Chi Nails for many years and have not been disappointed with my nail services or pedicures. Excellent work ladies

I love this place. They do such a beautiful job here, and they are pretty friendly! The prices are a bit high but not unaffordable. I always get so many compliments on my nails, and the gels always last me up to 4 weeks which is longer than any place I've been. They do get VERY busy, so make sure to make an appointment.

I got a pedicure (shellac) and manicure (dip powder) done at this salon. They were particularly busy today so I understand and take that into consideration. I asked for a French tip. The lady doing my nails was very nice but rushed through the process. I didn’t mind at the time hoping that they would still look good in the end. I am not one to analyze throughout the process and pin point everything I don’t like. But there were definitely things that looked off in the angel I was at. The lady herself was very proud of her work so I didn’t say anything. As I walked out and in the daylight I saw that it was not at all what I asked for and very unprofessional looking. I went back and asked if they could redo them. They happily complied. I got a new individual this time and she was using tools the other lady did not even use so it made me feel more taken care of. But instead of redoing them she just painted over it. In the end my nails had 10 layers of polish on them, the shape is completely off, the tips are all uneven and is not at all near the cuticle area. I left very disappointed and unhappy.

Wonderful pedicures with hot stone massage, staff are also very open to working with older people and diabetics.

I've been going to this place for 5 years and love it! Trinny the owner is wonderful, professional and always willing to help with decisions and choices when it comes to choosing a nail colour. Jenny and her sister are expert nail technicians. Highly recommend this place.

This place was recommended to me by a buddy of mine who also went there with his Mom and Family. I've been going for 4 years and generally get a Pedicure on my Birthday. I am a Diabetic and appreciate great nail care and massage and foot care I was near the back room where the girls continually giggled and spoke in their own language as if to make fun of me. I was happy until I experienced this it was rude and unprofessional.

Chi Nail salon New Westminster is fantastic. The technicians are thorough and professional and the prices are very reasonable.

Came here a few months ago and they completely damaged my nails so badly I wanted to cry.

Decided, at the time, to treat myself to a mani-pedi after an excruciating week, and tried here. Told them it was the first time i had ever had my nails done. I had no idea what to expect, but i just asked for a simple French manicure and pedicure. First, they nicked my toe while clipping the nail which left me with a bloody nail and scar for 3 weeks. Then, they tricked me into getting shellac on my fingernails (I didn't know what it was at the time). Not only ended up costing me well over what I had budgeted, but they never told me what it was nor how to get it off. It ended up damaging my nails, and they've never been the same since. Brittle and ridged, even months later. I told them THREE TIMES that all I wanted was a French mani/pedi, and I felt completely taken advantage of because I had no idea what to expect.

I don't think I'd ever be comfortable getting my nails done again.: (

I wanted a gel coat colour with a few top coats of a similar colour sprinkle coat.
I was manipulated into thinking that this was happening when they put the two polishes onto my table.

In the beginning I asked for a single change, and all the female staff went over my head and did a change without regarding me. Which I had to address — which made my experience EMBARRASSING, and I felt INSULTED that this nail tech thought I wouldn’t say anything. It felt like she thought I was that naive enough to not notice which is like “what? ? ”

When I told her what I asked for in the first place she said “oh, you want the sparkles? ” I told her that’s why I asked for them in the first place?

Super confused as to why this wasn’t happening— feeling more embarrassed — I thought - “f**k it, I’m leaving. ”
Now I remember why ll I don’t go here: because I don’t appreciate MICRO AGGRESSIONS.

I've been coming to Chi Nails for over 3 years and the service has always been world-class. The staff has always been so friendly and accommodating — especially Vicky who ensured that I was leaving the shop with the nails that I wanted. Thanks to everyone at Chi Nails for the best experience!

Wasn’t too happy as I’ve always come here since I’ve been living in lower mainland. But I’ve gone last three times now and every time my nails of gel coming right off. Last time I just came from their and hour later gel was chipped right off and I called a few times and left messages and no one got back to me. So sadly won’t be coming back as this also happened to my daughter!

Love Chi. And as a male dude.guys trust me. Go get a pedicure. Its awesome and the team at Chi always fit us in and always do a great job. An amazing hour to spend with your loving beautiful spouse

I came as a walk-in for a pedicure and only waited 10 minutes. Ended up getting a manicure too! They did a beautiful job. Definitely have recommend this place to a few people. Great service, decent prices and good quality. I'm going to try the acrylic nails next time.

This is by far the best nail salon I have ever been to. Everytime I leave CHI I'm always smiling and feeling fresh. I not only get my nails done but my eyebrows waxed too. Everything always minty fresh

I go to Chi nails quite regularly because they are close to home. All the ladies I've been served by have been pleasant.some are better than others, but I would say a majority of the time the they are very detailed and do a beautiful job on my toes and nails. I would love to see more care taken when they massage your feet or hands, because that is the best part for me. A few have given a great massage, but most it seems like they have to do and don't really care about. But in the end I walk out with pretty toes and finger nails, and that is what I paid for anyways:)

RIP OFF. They quote you one price on the phone - then they charge you almost double once you've had the service done! This has happened to me on numerous occasions, and I feel like they're running a scam. In all my years of getting nails done, I've never experienced such shady business. An extra $5-10 I can accept, that's normal. But and extra $30-$50 without any extra modifications? Unacceptable! Shame on you. You need to start being up front with all of your customers. You have lost my business, and that of all my friends.

The talented staff at Chai nails work very hard and are dedicated to making sure that I leave there totally happy with my nails and the service I have received.

I've been going to Chi Nails for a few years now. I now drive from south Langley to go there, which is almost an hour drive.wouldn't go anywhere else! The ladies there are amazing and super talented. I've never once left disappointed. They always do a beautiful job. Absolutely love Chi Nails highly highly recommend!

I've had a great time at this salon the couple of times that I have been in. Walk-in both times. Today I had a custom french tip design and they brought my vision to life! Huge thank

Favorite place in New West to get my nails done. They do a great job everythime. And not too expensive. Nina is my favorite and then Lee, but all of the estheticians are great!

I went there abour a month ago for a shellac pedicure. Was so pleased with result I asked to have a manicure right away as well.
Great result's! Think I'm hooked now.
Went for a second shellac pedicure.
I definitely recommend trying Chi Nail's at least once! You may come back for second's like me! Oh, & by the way this was my first time getting my nail's professionally done.
I am a bit picky & was hesitant because I worry about these places being sanitary.
No issue's with that so far! Now I will see how consistent the great service is.

Not an exotic or fancy place but wonderful staff and service and excellent prices. I have never been disappointed! Key here.clean and sanitary. I have never been turned away as a walk-in! Great job waxing the brows as well.

Favorite nail salon, friendly staff, go above and beyond including salt scrubs and hot stones for every manicure/pedicure and actually spend time massaging. And inexpensive for what you get compared to other places!

Pretty disappointed. I think this salon is a bit hit or miss. You might get someone great, or you might get someone awful. Seems like a chance you may not want to take. I've had friends recommend it and say it was good, but I had a terrible experience and the final result looked quite amateur.

I got shellac done here and all of my nails started chipping and peeling on the third day so when I went back to show the lady she only fixed like 4 of them and put top coat on rest and said it would be fine.it started chipping the next day.

Got my feet done a few months ago and the color is still on! Disappointed that the gal didn’t ask if I want my nails done. Busy place and little small talk. Gal didn’t put an extra coat on like the other nail salon and surprised color is still there. But due to poor customer service this salon gets this rating.

Worst nail experience, they didn’t listen to me.the colour was only 2 layers when I asked for one more because I could see my nail underneath still, she refused. Only went for a fill which is posted as 35 $ and was charged 52.50. When I asked her to explain what I was paying for, she said getting a colour on my nails was 10$. I had my real nails which were very long and the lady decided to cut two of them right down to the nub before I finally said just stop, because she hadn't answer why she was doing that. Worst customer experience and they did not seem to care either way.

I would often come to Chi Nails to get my nails and wax done by Cathy who went above and beyond to accommodate me into her schedule. I heard as of today, Cathy no longer works at Chi nails. I had proceeded to book an appointment and they gladly booked me in. Once I came in for my appointment, I was refused service due to an appointment conflict. I would completely understand if they called me prior to my appointment time. I found this extremely unprofessional and poorly planned as they did not value my time and they refused to service me. I would NOT recommend this place due to their lack of organization and professionalism.

Needed to get shellac done last minute and they were kind enough to squeeze me in by appointment. The atmosphere was nice and so were the staff. They do have a ton of shellac colours and the ones i chose for my nails were really pretty and got me excited to get my nails done. However, its been a week and a half since i've had my nails done and the past two days its been lifting from the edges but not the glitter ones so i'm disappointed in that. I wanted this salon to be my go to because they had so many colours to choose from but i will not be coming back.
