Such an unexpected beautiful little park in the middle of Rutland but very small space with few trails.

Beautiful little neighborhood park. Excellent place to bring children to feed the ducks, turtles and observe other wildlife. A peaceful walk through the giant weeping willow trees. Nice all-weather trails.

Still a nice walk. The development right up against such a delicate eco system bothers me alot though. The park isnt vast and flourishing like it once was.

Very small park with big time beautiful scenery, tucked in the middle of a residential neighborhood this cute park has a little bit of everything.
Nature, wildlife and a little boardwalk to cut across a small pond full of ducks and various birds, I heard the kingfisher in there.
Worth checking out if in the area.

I loved it very few on the trails and the little ducks just come up to u and sit at your feet it is really a beautiful place the park is littered with very old and gigantic Willow trees like a humbling experience for sure the neighborhood it sits in is quit and the trails have all been cleaned and maintained

I take my daughter here to see the ducks and turtles. It is also a great place for her to ride her strider around the trail. The nearby park and plentiful wildlife makes it her favorite place to visit.

What an awesome spot. I'm currently working as a caregiver for the elderly and my client and I are always looking for a new place for a walk, we usually go to mission creek but I found this place online and after looking at some pictures and reviews I knew it'd be worth the drive. We stopped and grabbed some seeded buns to feed the ducks. This beautiful spot gave us both so much joy! We fed the ducks together and had the nicest walk along the gorgeous pathway. Couldn't have asked for a better area to share some good talks, memories and an overall great experience. What a hidden gem?

Awesome in every way other than the owls. I love owls and that's awesome for a nature spot but if you are holding a small pet or have a small pet nearby you might leave without it.

This is a hidden gem of a wetland park in Rutland. You feel transported to somewhere else. Gorgeous willow trees and ducks and many birds. A lovely small trail wraps around the pond with idyllic bridges. A total sanctuary from the city.

I love this little park. Most days it's quiet. Lots of birds and wildlife. Nice trail around the pond. Great escape from the work day.

This park is special. It's a bit of countryside, but within the city. It's good for all ages. Decent for a romantic walk or a bit of general relaxation, any time of day. People can find it on here of course, but it's still sort of a hidden gem.

This is a place my wife and I bike ride through. Everyone is friendly and says hi. There's a lot of ducks here. We break some bread. This is a great place to be. It's nice to get back to nature so close to the house. This place is great!

A small-mid sized wetlands park.
There is a simple set of walking paths that can keep you busy for about 45min if you really explore.
The ponds are very picturesque.
There are some nice grassy areas that would be good for picnics or just hanging out.
Over 100 species of birds come through in a year so it is a good birding area. There are quite a few painted turtles as well as a great horned owl family in the park.
The playground is simple but fun for the kids
No bathrooms.
Dog's on leash only.
No picnic tables but several benches.
There is a small hidden dirt bike park at the back end in the forest. Kids love it.
This park is very picturesque and is used by local photographers for family, wedding and other photo shoots all the time.

An absolutely gorgeous park, hidden away amongst the residential neighborhood in Rutland. Wheelchair friendly, on leash dog friendly and there's a playground in the middle-ish for kids to play. What more can you ask for from a park!

Beautiful oasis in the Rutland area of Kelowna. Cottonwood trees, painted turtles, several kinds of ducks, and songbirds. Usually quiet unless the guy with the stereo turned up to 12 is home.

Hidden gem in the middle of Rutland Community. Small wetland area with a pond and waterway with a pathway and boardwalk. Many access points from different residential roads that surround the wetland. Mallard ducks, red-winged blackbirds, Flickers all sighted during our visit.
