I’m not a huge fried chicken fan. I usually avoid it. However, this particular KFC is my absolute FAVOURITE. Their Garlic Soy is my go-to and I love, love, love it.

Definitely a must try.

Do not order at this place. They do not seal the food correctly and give wrong product. I complained and what they told me was if your order again we will give you coupon. What a joke I will never order again at this place. Even chicken taste is not good.

Go to fried chicken place in Victoria for my family. Crispy and juicy chicken varieties. Have spicy and non spicy options and genuine prices. Always a go to snacking place.

Terrible deep fried bones and batter! $33 for about only 3 chicken legs meat, if you think food costs is too high you can higher your price! Never come back!

Chicken 649 is a very unique restaurant.
It was my first time trying the Lunch special and I was really impressed by the cooking and the process of how the chicken thighs and wings were cooked.
Cooked in a batter which is a truly unique recipe, the chicken tasted very delicious alongside the complimentary ketchup and mayonnaise sides that came with the order.
When I ordered the lunch special, it came with 6 pieces of chicken alongside 6 or more potato wedges.
The chicken and the potato wedges tasted very delicious, I was very impressed.
I will definitely be back to Chicken 649,
To satisfy my chicken craving.

Absolutely incredible fried chicken. I got the full order, split 50/50 yangnyeom and original flavors. Both were amazing. I wasn't sure how much food a full order would really be, but those 16 pieces were three full meals for me, and I'm a fat kid. I'd give this place 6 stars if I could.

We order chicken meals from here every couple of weeks it's that good. Even my normally picky 6 year old loves their chicken.

Some of the best fried chicken I've ever had. Definitely on the greasy side but very succulent. Best fried potato wedges I've ever had.

This place was recommended by one of my colleagues at work and oh my God this chicken is delicious and the potato wedges are out of this world. I highly recommend this place if you want some good chicken.

Fantastic food. A friend brought in a couple of pieces of chicken for me to try. Wow! Is their fried chicken ever good. No more KFC for me. And the prices are really reasonable. I especially liked the radish dish. It was delicious. If you want fabulous fried chicken this is the place to go. Service was wonderful. Highly recommend

I drive by this place on my way home from work. I finally stopped in and asked the cashier for some suggestions. It was busy but she took her time and helped explain all the choices.it was hard to pick! I'll be back to try the other sauces - soooo good!

Best fried chicken I've had on the Island for sure, and they have beer! Get the chicken with the Korean spicy and sweet sauce, a beer and eat it with some pickled radish for the most authentic Korean fried chicken experience hands down, I promise you. Truly amazing

Amazing Garlic chicken with thick sauce You can literally see the garlic being cooked golden and crispy. A little pricey but totally worth every penny. I order from them every now and then. The Honey one is also great.

Honey garlic chicken always amazing. A little underwhelmed with cheese sauce on second 16 piece order. For me the cheese lacks flavor. However both orders enjoyed. Had original last month and was amazing. Chicken always moist which is impressive. A good place to go if craving fried chicken.

We ordered the original fried chicken and potato wedges. Both are delicious. Chicken so crispy and not dry. We ordered the full pack and shared with 5 people and there's more than enough for us.

You'll feel like you won the lottery when you taste this chicken. Close to perfection, this crispy yummy Korean style fried chicken has the international flavour of deliciousness. The prices are winning too! And the portions are generous. Do I love this place? Yes, yes I do.

I've been a fried chicken fanatic my whole life and I can confidently say this is the best fried chicken I've had in Victoria. Every day you haven't tried this food is a day you're wasting your life away, come get you some chicken 649

Always fantastic, been here many times and have never had an issue. I have only experienced consistent quality and good service. Even warmed up the next day, I'd still pick 649 over fresh from some other chicken spots. The cashiers are often busy handling customers, the phone, and grabbing orders, but they've always been pleasant and as prompt as they can be with so much going. 10/10 this is one of my go to spots.

This is the best of the Korean Fried Chicken in Victoria. I’ve tried a few places that have similar menu but Chicken 649 stands out. Absolutely delicious. I wish you had a Franchise in Langford too but we don’t mind the drive for your Sweet n spicy, soy garlic chicken. Our kids love it too and it’s become a frequent craving now that we takeout from here very often.

Great fried chicken not greasy. Only disappointment was amount of sauce with chicken meal 649 original. Very very small amount in tiny plastic for 6 pieces. The sauces are part of the restaurants draw so surprising.

Started off amazing and now it's so so. They have used a significant amount less sauce on their chicken. I used to go there semi avidly but the last 3 times I have went, they have reduced the sauce on their chicken heavily to the point that some chicken pieces were not coated. It was great while it lasted but I will not be back

Delicious chicken! Simply a wonderful recipe. The chicken is perfectly cooked to a juicy bite with no extra moisture. The chicken is coated in sauce to the point there is small puddles of underneath every piece, perfect for those mid-bite swipes. Fairly prices for how much care clearly goes into their work and for quantity/quality of their product. Can't recommend enough
