Chicko Chicken

No radish, no utensil, no napkins just chicken…. If you eat chicken, isn't chicken radish essential? There is no nepkin, no chopsticks, and the service is not very good.

Not good customer service staff was not friendly waited long for the order and she was laughing at me continuously

Oct. 6 around 12-1 p.m. My friends and I had lunch there, and we thought it was great. The chicken was crisp and fresh, and the sauces were fantastic. Additionally, the customer services were pleasant; they had smiles and processed orders quickly.

I always ordered the original and Soy and garlic. They are delicious and always fresh. The service is excellent and friendly. Thank you Paulene for your good service.

Consistently good fried chicken. Pricey for a single meal in comparison to other foods, but cost is understandable because it’s 100% chicken with no fillers other than batter and sauce. Portion seems fair, more filling than you’d think.

Issue: Had multiple consecutive take-outs with no radish condiment, and if it needs to be purchased separately was not asked by server.

Fried chicken without radish just isn’t the same.

Love this place, the chicken is fresh and tasty. The wait is worth it, about 15 to 20 minutes! Staff is very friendly!

Their spicy chicken with shake fries is really good. Definitely not a bad choice for chicken, but I think BBQ definitely wins in the Battle of Guildford's Best Korean Chicken Place.

Everything is made to order, a bit of wait time but chicken was cooked to perfection and so juicy, worth the wait!

We ordered the spicy chicken and the soy sauce chicken but they were not fully cooked. We had to microwave the chickens so they are fully cooked. When we cut them in half, the chicken was kind of pink. After microwaving them now they aren’t crispy anymore.

I ordered a half half with soy garlic and padak padak on site. When I picked it up, there wasn’t any green onion & sauce for padak, so I came in asked for it, but they told me no green onion & sauce for padak, cuz I ordered half size. I didn’t believe it because I ordered before. And then they found out they ordered the wrong chicken for me, and blamed me for it. So I went their another location, also ordered a half padak, they do come with green onion and sauce.

This place doesn’t even deserve one star. I ordered half padak padak and half soy garlic, then after a long wait they gave me the wrong one without green onions. They even blamed my husband for not saying clearly what he wants and also throw the blame on store policy “no green onions for half padak padak” which is definitely a sham! I already checked with the chicko of King George location and there’s even no such a policy at all! Shame on their cashier for being such a liar and giving such an awful customer service.

I ordered fried chicken and fries. Both items tasted very bitter, a clear sign of using bad/old oil. French fries were so soggy to the point where it looked like it was pickled in oil. This was for a pick up order so there is no excuse for the soggyness. I was so appalled at the quality of the fries that I had to drive back to complain. The staff took my soggy fries and refried them in the same bad oil for another 30 seconds. When I questioned them again, all I got was sarcastic remarks by the staff.
I had already heard bad feedback about this location but thought I would give them a chance. I will not be eating here again. Wish I could give them zero stars.

Great fried chicken by any standard. All 3 flavours, original, soy garlic and yangyeom are really good. Their breading is very crispy and stays crunchy even when covered in sauces. A must try for any fried chicken lover

Ordered pickup they said approx 30 mins so i showed up in 40. I pay and sit 40mins and wait for my food, watching everyone elses come and go and eventually the front guy asks me what my order was and i tell him and he grabs a bag thats been sitting there before i arrived was my order, it was ready the whole time and i waited 40 mins for nothing and the guy just looked at me n sorry. I mean pretty rough having only 2 people workin during dinner rush too but still

My first time here and unfortunately there was a problem with my order, but they made sure I was satisfied before I left. And wow the chicken was amazing

The chicken was full of fat and I paid for the French fries which they forgot to pack and not tasty and crispy as the white rock place was so disappointed

I ordered half and half: - half original and half Bul dak. Bul Dak was on point but ORIGINAL CHICKEN order was bit disappointing.
BUL DAK chicken will be HIGHLY recommended for sure.

It's a pretty good Korean fried chicken place. They offer more flavours than other similar restaurants. I've tried the original and sweet garlic soy and they are both pretty decent.

As a customer ordering from here before several times, there were some mistakes before but I looked over it. But this time I ordered *boneless* half cheese snow and fried. But what I got was a *bone* half fried and half fried. Both the same thing. I even paid for more expensiver price, even if it may be a little. I did takeout so I couldn’t check until I was at home. I also didn’t recieve pickled radish when it was supposed to be free. Horrible management. Didn’t even have a reciept anywhere. Never ordering again.

Terrible TERRIBLE TERRIBLE SERVICE. The woman I spoke to on the phone when I was ordering take out had such a HUGE ATTITUDE. It was very off putting but I pushed past that because I wanted to order dinner for my family. She said it would be ready in 30 minutes. Went to pick it up and it took over 45 minutes. A HUGE waste of my time. They opened another location on highway 10. I will be spending my money there instead. It’s twice now that I have ordered takeout from this location and have been spoken to in a rude manner. If you don’t feel like being spoken to in a degrading way, stay far away from here.

Today we went to Chicko guildford and the atmosphere is welcoming with a great customer service! And the food is sooo good will definitely come back for more! Well worth the money! Keep up the good work guys! Kudos!

One of the best chicken places in Vancouver. Chicko is Korean Chicken place and its delicious. I have been ordering for a while on skip, now went in staff was great, very clean. The YANGYEOM is the best

Ordered original with two sauces on the side from uber.

Sauce did not come with the chicken and ended up just eating an original, which was plain.

Called in and asked if I could get sauces delivered, however, all they said was that I can come and pick it up or refund them sauces.

Ruined the entire experience as sauces were what made this chicken place special.

Make sure to not order sauces on the side as they seem very inconsistent and missing orders often then not.

Their chicken is great but it's not THAT great to deal with the hassle and frustration of their poor operations.

I had placed an order on the phone 1.5 hours ahead of time for pick-up and the restaurant confirmed the later time was not an issue. I came in a couple of minutes before the pickup time and I saw the restaurant was busy (as expected for a Friday night) and the staff was getting slammed with orders so I didn't mind waiting a couple of minutes for my order.

Within the time frame of 15 minutes, I checked to see if my order was ready and was told it wasn't ready. I asked the cashier how long it would be and she said she didn't know. She seemed new as she was clearly lost and flustered from the high traffic of orders they were receiving.

I waited another 15 minutes before checking in AGAIN how long it would be, only to be told my order was not ready yet. Waiting for an hour to get my order, I witnessed frustrated customers and numerous food courier drivers walk out of the restaurant in frustration that the order they were meant to pick up was not ready (many have been waiting over 10-15 minutes for their orders without status updates).

Their restaurant lacked structure on how to handle and go about the mass amount of orders they were receiving (they clearly chose to prioritize food courier orders instead of phone-in orders, but poorly executed handling food courier orders too). There was a lack of communication and accountability to customers as they failed to provide status updates on orders placed for pickup. The poor cashier was handling all the heat from customers as the rest of the staff (and maybe management) carried on without providing assistance or offering to move her to another position.

Furthermore, it was interesting to see how they kept on taking more orders over the phone considering how backed up they were on orders already.

This is the best chicken ever! I ordered "Yangyeom Chicken" from uber eats at this locaction came up $18.37 for half order.very tasty I will be ordering a full order very soon! This place doe's chicken right! Best boneless chicken.

I like how they are fried to order so the chickens came piping hot after 20min wait. Ordered half half and had original with soy garlic. After trying two KFC brands in the area, I would say bb.q's first bite has a good kick, juicy but you get tired of their strong flavour after second or third serving. Chico on the other hand you can have multiple serving and you won't feel sick like the other brand. Chico is crispy but not as juicy like bb.q. The meal comes with radish and a free drink which is a nice touch!
