Chicko Chicken

It was ok but nothing special. Went to the Korean restaurant next door for better chicken.

Ordered a “whole chicken” on Uber Eats. What arrived was a box of soggy, cold legs and wings with the skin falling off. They advertise a whole chicken, I expect all the parts of the bird: Legs, wings, thighs, breast. Not a box of shriveled up legs and wings that tasted distinctly of “we don’t care. ”

Really wonderful service, with a nice and quiet atmosphere! A nice addition to the Kerrisdale area. The chicken is juicy, the yangneom sauce is tasty, and cheese powder on the side is a great addition to the chicken and fries

Very quick and friendly service, and good variety too! We got both boneless and bone-in with three sauces.
They get fresh chicken delivery every day and cook it only when theres an order, so everything tastes fresh

Ordered full size for original taste. Chicken meat taste incredibly good and the sauce just fit the taste perfectly. Nice Deal!

Great take-out spot in Kerrisdale! Delicious fried chicken and fries, great selection of sauces and sides, friendly and helpful employees.

The staffs are really sweet but their meat quality is the worst and the portion is getting smaller and smaller. Half of my orders were just fats and this had continued for three times. Very disappointed. I also ordered a full order recently bc their half portion was too small but their full order was not much bigger than a half order. I rather order from another branch from now on.

Be careful - their printed menus state that if you get a full order, you get a radish pickle and a drink along with it. The last time I went, apparently they've changed that policy, and you get nothing. Even though they are still handing out menus with that information on it. Super annoying.

Ordered delivery and found that they dont offer complimentary pickled radish. I called later and they said they dont offer it any longer. I have never been to Korean chicken place without one as complimentary so its quite disappointing. At least they should have indicate that on the app somewhere so I can order as a paid side. It sucks to find out after we received the delivery.

Fast and fresh (made to order). Plus very yummy. Fries and chicken are very crispy. Staff are also polite and friendly.

Just a fyi to order your chicken in advance because they start cooking right after your order is placed. Staff are friendly, chicken is GOOD. I'm Korean and I approve of this place.

I went there many times already. The store is clearly geting appoved alot since two weeks ago. Chicken is so tasty and the service time is always good.

I placed a scheduled takeout order through the Chicko app over an hour in advance. Upon arrival, I was told my order still wasn't ready and it would be another 5 minute wait. That's fine. I waited patiently as 5 minutes turned into 35 minutes, and finally after approaching the desk to complain, I found out my order had been sitting on their takeout counter this entire time.

No apology was offered, no discount, not even an offer of a complimentary side of radish or pop as a gesture of good will. To make things worse, I get back home to find that not only is my chicken cold and soggy, they got my order wrong (or gave me someone else's order). To clarify, it wasn't busy at the time. I was one of three customers being served, and yet all of us had issues with our orders being delayed (and apparently, mixed up).

All in all, I would highly recommend avoiding this particular location. I realize that they're new and still ironing out some of the kinks of opening, but the entire experience was a complete disaster. I've eaten at many other Chicko locations and their chicken is delicious with efficient customer service, so don't write off the brand. Maybe just this particular franchise-at least until they get their act together.

I waited for more than 30mins for my order. Food was cold, chicken taste awful, waste my money here.

Compare other chicko locations I have tried, this is the worst one ever. Worst place ever! Would never come back!

Waited for a few months for its grand opening. Taste was good. Franchise format as you would have assumed. Personal experience - The wait time was upon 40 mins.
