Chicko Chicken Austin Coquitlam

You don’t often find places that make amazing fried chicken like Chicko Chicken does. Every time we’ve been to this restaurant, we’ve always had a good experience. The staff at this location are wonderful and friendly (great customer service). It is big enough for dine in if you wish to do so but take out is just as good enough as well depending on your preference. I like the chicken here because it doesn’t feel like it’s over oily like some other places and the flavours are good too.

We're going back is the best review I can give. Excellent food and great service at a fair price. Ordered Buldak (hot) and original with regular and sweet potato fries for Take-out. Tasted great even after a half-hour drive home. Full order is enough for two with leftovers for later.

Chicken was not fresh. I’ve had fresh chicken and this was not it. It was not juicy at all and was dry and too much batter

Very delicious chicken, good sauces and toppings (although I prefer the spicy sauces at pelicana more), made fresh, cheapest prices around.

Good Korean Style Fried Chicken in Coquitlam. Wish they had sides to go with the chicken. Deep fried chicken with fries is allot of oil. Nice to have something to pair it with. Got the reg. Chicken boneless and the spicy. Kids loved the reg. And I enjoyed the spicy. Wasn't too Salty? Or battered. The pickled daikon was nice to cut the oil with the pickled flavor, must get with fried chicken. Got to pay extra for it thou. For $55,4 adults and 3 kids had dinner. Not bad value.

Wanted to support locally and gave this place a 3rd try. The wait was way too long. 2nd visit, I was told the wait would be roughly 25min. It ended up being close to 45min.

Thought they would improve the 3rd time but that's the last straw. Just slow overall. And plus they dont give out paper unless we request.

The location near me has yellow uncooked batter in the inside similar to the 1 star review, but this location has always delivered an excellent product.
I dont usually post a review but when i do its because its good.

My favourite fried chicken, always hot and fresh and so so good. My kids even like it, which means it is one of the few places that we all enjoy.

Had a very good experience at this location. The man at the counter was friendly and thoughtful. He packed the order in a way to keep it crispy. When I got it home, it was still crisp and tasted fresh. Lots of flavour. The chicken was moist and the padak sauce was packed separate so some of us mixed it in and others used it to dip. We ordered the padak green onion chicken and the soy chicken.

Great customer service, really enjoyed the food, and definitely recommend this place in the lower mainland.

I used to enjoy this place until I recently opened up one of their chickens a few days ago. Absolutely disgusting! It was filled with yellow solid grease. It was impossible to eat and I had to throw most of them out. I even had a stomachache the day after. So disappointed at this place and I am never coming back.

The Chico Austin branch is not even the headquarters of Chico Chicken, and someone else has taken over it.
Well, there's a bad assessment, but as an individual, I like chicken here.

Lots of Korean say the headquarters of Chico Chicken is here. First of all, people said that the staff here are unfriendly. In addition, there are many things that have not changed even after being pointed out by FRASER HEALTH, so there is a big problem in hygiene. Now I'm not going to go to this chicko chicken anymore.

Ordered the half and half combo and picked original and yangyeom! Both flavours were good and the yangyeom has a mild spice to it! This chicken was not greasy at all and had a nice crunch to it! It was juicy too because they make every order fresh so it doesn’t dry out! Portion size and price are really good too. I recommend downloading the app so you can order in advance!

Best PaDak in Vancouver and surrounding areas.
YangYeom Chicken is debatable, some people may prefer bit spicier sauce from bb.q Chicken, or prefer sweeter sauce from Chicko.
But if you are going to have PaDak, this is the place to eat.

Always freshly fried chicken, fair price for Korean-style, and not too heavy on the breading, so worth it for the boneless because it's nice large juicy chunks of meat unlike some places that flatten their chicken to thin slices then overbread to cover that up. This place is the frontrunner right now for K-style chicken, unseating JTL a block away. Let's see if they can maintain their quality over time!

Oh how I love Chicko. Their team is always so friendly and the service is always quick. Plus, their online ordering system is super easy to navigate, which I love from any restaurant—especially right now when you want to minimize contact. Thanks for all the delicious Korean fried chicken!
