Chilliwack Museum

Nice location and brother's wedding was fun and relaxed. The museum portion is quite simple and small to enjoy.

Art gallery on ground floor shows local artists periodically. Beautiful, older, neo-classic government type building.

I really enjoyed this museum, in the downtown. The building is neat and well kept. The garden around it is nice. The exhibition area is well sized. The gift-shop was a very pleasant experience.

I really like this museum. The exhibits are thoughtful and well done. The building is beautiful. I try to come often when I am in Chilliwack.

Cute museum with a clean and modern - but still cozy - vibe and friendly staff. Definitely worth checking out, though if you're planning ahead (we didn't) you can apparently call to book an appointment to see their larger collection at their archival facility nearby. I'd recommend this, as the museum itself is well worth the price of admission but can be experienced in a relatively short amount of time.

We had a day planned at the local park but it rained hard, so change if plans.

Not a lot to see in terms of artifacts or history, just lots of small items like houseware and old photos.

But the children's room was full of activities, art, toys, books and building items. My kids really enjoyed visiting, and there were some inexpensive items we purchased from the gift shop that they played with a lot and still have.
