Chilliwack Taxi

I booked a pick-up/drop off on the app, and two taxis showed up. After getting into one vehicle, the other driver got out and started telling me that I called and asked for 2 taxis. He starred into the window and continued to tell me that I, in fact, did book 2 taxis, which I'm not sure is possible to do on the app. My driver was kind and apologized on their behalf, but it was unsettling nonetheless. I am always hesitant to book with chilliwack Taxi because their drivers in the past have been rude and even put their own tips into the machine when I pay.once again, some drivers are very pleasant to speak with and are very accommodating but the business itself isn't run well. Not to mention the attitude given when booking over the phone. You have to ASK when the driver is coming before they hang up on you.

Driver was nice, but they charged 35$ for a 14km trip on Thanksgiving weekend. I was too lazy to download Uber.

The hotel also wasnt that great.

Chilliwack just kinda sucks.

I’m in a wheelchair 24/7 and have been for 29 years. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve had some very good experiences with accessible cabs, but far more bad, to the point that I dread the thought of using one. I just broke my leg a week ago and have not been able to drive. I’ve been relying on taxis to get me to and from appointments. The drivers with Chilliwack Taxi were awesome. Would not hesitate to use them again.

Slow horrible service. Multiple times waiting over an hour when told 5-10 mins. Rude drivers. Better off walking if you need to be somewhere on time.

They have much more units available their staff is much more respectful
Their waiting time is very reasonable sometimes they just show up early and wait until I showed up to their driver
One thing could be fixed is their interior cleanness but that was just one vehicle that smelled not pleasant out of 7
Overall Im satisfied with this taxi company I hope they keep up the good work for people of chilliwack. They are located in the centre of chilliwack close to everywhere literally.

The cab driver I got yesterday was hands down the best I ever had, he could drive and we had a good trip

I have been using this company for many many years and always had great service. Until covid hit, then the dispatch and customer experience changed. Since then I have noticed rude service from dispatch as most of the time they mumble on the phone with a hard-to-hear, "Okay someone will be there" and then hang up quickly or the cab does not show up at all. I have encountered many different unprofessional drivers and I do not feel safe when my driver is busy chatting through an earpiece during my whole trip. Unprofessional and unreliable.

The drivers are awful, they always tailgate me while I'm driving and they drive dangerously all over town

Terrible. Doesn't care about passenger safety, always understaffed, and has the indecency to ask for a tip after bad service.

Taxi driver Mr. Fedel was so kind and friendly. That was car 62, and it makes our experience amazing. That was our first time in Chilliwack

What a good experience with them Me and my whole family had a comfortable trip to the airport. Driver was prompt and professional. I recommend for anyone.

Horrible service lately, drivers doing completely ridiculous things like reversing through an intersection when missing the turnoff, refusing to let me and a friend to pay and get out after driving right past the destination even with reminders just to try and turn around to charge more money and running stop signs and red lights making us feel unsafe. As a cherry on top tonight my boyfriend called several hours in advance to schedule a taxi to drive him to work, and they never showed up. After 15 mins of waiting he woke me up to give him a ride because now he would be late if he walked. When he called to cancel dispatchers put him on hold and told him “no no no don’t cancel”. Completely unprofessional, rude and incompetent service. Do yourself a favour and call Cheam taxi instead.

Was told 3 times over the phone that the taxi would be here and ended up waited over 1 hour and 30 minutes in the freezing snow and cold before giving up. Don’t bother wasting ur time. Terrible service

I prebooked a cab and the cab haven’t shown up so i called dispatch and they said cab is on the way.but no one showed up i had to wait there for more than half an hour. Even the dispatch told my husband there was no prebooking but when i talked with them they were able to find my trip. The dispatch should not lie. They should be trained again to serve customers properly instead of laughing over the phone. After i had to call another company taxi. Even the driver did a no show without arriving at my pickup location. Worst experience ever. I will never use the service of this company.

Horribly disorganized chaos and that seems to be on a normal day. Don't even bother with them on a holiday or weekend. It would be faster to walk from Promentory to Rosedale then it would be to wait for a cab

Just hung up on me after I called them back because the taxi was not showing up after 45 mins of waiting. It appears that asking nicely if the taxi would show up, after being told it would only be 5 mins is unacceptable to this company. I've never written one of these but being hung up on, for asking a question beyond rude

I left my car/apartment keys in a cab this weekend, it’s been 3 days of me contacting them and they’re refusing to get me in contact with the driver or contact the driver themselves. The driver has told the office he has my keys but hasn’t shown up to work since the day I dropped them. I told them I don’t even live in Chilliwack and I have a animal at home to feed, and they still refuse to help me get my keys back so I can go home.

My girlfriend called for a taxi to pick her up at 5am. They said " We will be there". At 4: 50 the cab driver called and said "im here". She told the driver she would be down at 5: 00. He called again at 4: 55 am and she and once again she said Ill be down at 5am (they time she asked the cab to be there. The cab driver responded "People have to get to work! " In an aggressive tone. So she went downstairs at exactly 5am and the taxi was gone! So I phoned and complained and the dispatcher said "I will make sure this doesnt happen again, EVER. " So I said what about her ride, she needs to get to work. He said " Another taxi is coming, im sorry". Ten minutes later I called Chilliwac Taxi back and I said shes never going to make it to work on time now, her manager is going to be very upset. He said "im so sorry sir". I said "WE WILL NEVER CALL YOUR COMPANY AGAIN". He said "OK". Very unprofessional of the dispatcher and taxi driver. I realize its busy at 5am but there is no excuse for leaving before the exact time of pick up. I doubt the driver will even get scolded, they really dont seem to care. The words im sorry are their solution for dealing with customers. Goodbye Chilliwack Taxi.hello Cheam Taxi.

Needed a ride home from the hospital and they picked me up very quickly, car was clean, driver was friendly and cost to rosedale was reasonably priced.

The cab drivers text and talk on the phone while driving. I have called cabs and they have not shown up. The customer service/cab coordinators are rude, unhelpful and do not care about customer service. I take cabs often to get to work and have been late by up to 30 minutes because it took them 45 minutes to get here after telling me 5-10 minute wait. This is the worst cab company I have ever used and firmly believe they should completely retrain the all staff. Use Cheam taxi instead at least they are honest with wait times and don’t recklessly drive!

So today my car battery died outside cottonwood mall, and I call chilliwack taxi to giv me jump start, driver showed up almost 25 min later, and he just connected my car within a second he just removed his jump cable as soon as my car start. The car didn't even move and it stopped, I called chilliwack taxi again so the service told me, sorry he's sending another cab and I don't have to pay money, so I was cool, thinking it's okay mistake happen, another driver came gave me jump start and my car started and worked move, then he started asking me money, so I said I have ready paid for previous driver from ur company and ur company dispatcher guy told me it will be free this time, the cab driver started shouting, at one point 2 ladies from surrounding gathered around and he even threatened me, sir I am just a student I earn very less money, to support my need, looting and threatening students won't get you to be millionaire. I'll keep on fighting for my 15$ and cab driver shouting and threatening is not done.

I've used the app for a while now. Chilliwack taxi has horrible timing, most of their drivers should not have their licence. Almost got into an accident last week on my way to work. Not to mention they make several turns and take the longer route to your destination for extra cash, and then proceed to put in their own tips into the machine so I can't see how much I paid until after. This morning a driver overcharged me and MADE me tip him after driving the back roads. What usually take me 5 minutes to get to work took 10 minutes. If I book a half hour ahead they are either fifteen minutes late or EARLY and I'm not ready and they drive away on me. Disappointed because I spend over $150 a month on taxi services.
