China Lan Lanzhou Beef Noodles

The ramen varies in thickness and tastes a bit soft and not strong. The stir-fried green beans were served in a hurry and still raw, and you could almost only taste the bean paste.

Always the best! My go-to for beef noodle soup in Vancouver. Huge menu selection, very authentic, amazing and quick service.

Highly recommended. The Szechuan beef noodle soup is remarkable, perfectly spicy, salty, savoury with the right amount of “ma” spice. Huge portion. Perfect Rainy day bowl.

After the price increase, the portion size became smaller. After changing the owner, the taste of Kung Pao Chicken is not as good as before.

Their beef noodle offers same good taste but more beef than the former and others around the area.

Pretty decent noodles with hometown flavor. Comes with big servings hence be prepared with an empty stomach.

The food was good but not what you are expecting. I was expecting a beef noodle soup broth, instead it was a lot of garlic. Service was decent.

This is a new restaurant with a very similar name: Lan Zhou Beef Noodle. (minus the "China Lan" at the beginning). It changed hands ~1 month ago. Everything is different; the menu, the prices (20% higher), the staff (worse so far), some of the decor, and the name.

The new owners are riding off the old reviews. Given all that's changed, this restaurant is new and should begin again with no reviews.

Stumbled upon this new Chinese restaurant with an amazing menu, and with hand pulled noodles. They even have a window to the kitchen so you can see them hand pull the noodles. Crazy good food and very reasonably priced

Fantastic noodles. I had the Szechuan Beef Noodles, and they were great ona. Gloomy Vancouver day. The noodles also had the nice "al dente" quality I've had a other hand-pulled Lanzhou style restaurants.

I can't compare to the old ownership, but I'd take other reviews with a grain of salt as resistance to change. The flavour was great, service was nice, and the cubed beef was excellent. Also, $15 for my bowl was very reasonable.

Quality decreased after changing owners. Barely any meat in the noodle dishes and taste not as good as before.
