Chipotle Mexican Grill

This Chipotle gives substantially smaller portions than other locations for the same price. Drink counter is often a mess. Employees are rude and seemed completely unengaged with the customers. Other than those, normal Chipotle. Better off eating somewhere else nearby or at a different Chipotle.

First time going to Chipotle? They will try to zoom you through the bowl/buritto making process. If you go to any Chipotle have a game plan, maybe look on uber eats to see what you can add to your bowl/burrito. Also don't put your finger in the little holes they have in the walls, they will call the fire brigade to get you loose.

The food was the usual Chipotle goodness we like. The guy making our dish was spot on. It's a little cramped on space to sit, but we did find a table. We were crowded with other customers waiting in line around us, but not a huge deal to us.

I ordered food an hour ago and it's still not made their location obviously has some staff competency issues. It goes rice, meat, salsa, lettuce, its not hard.
You're not doctor's it doesn't take an hour and a half to make anything on your menu.

Convenient location and it’s open late, which is helpful for a quick and relatively healthy meal to-go. I always get the chicken bowl because the meat is moist and flavourful. Steak is my second favourite. I would’ve rated this location 2-3 stars just last year because (1) the waits were ridiculous and (2) the bowls looked half empty. With the current staff, the waits are reasonable and bowls actually fill me up. The price is decent considering the veggies/ingredients you get and portion size. I don’t care for guacamole (controversial, I know) but the chips are perfectly salted with hints of lime, delicious when warm. Note they have a rewards program now!

Food is great, but it was lunch time and they had run out of some ingredients, found that surprising and disappointing. Small crowded space with only a few tables inside.

First time leaving a review for any restaurant but after repeated poor experiences at this Chipotle location I feel obligated to share.

Where to start? The portions are tiny. The service ambivalent, rushed, and careless. Very frequently out of ingredients hours before closing time. The drop in food quality compared to the location 3 blocks away is very noticeable.
There is no sign indicating they are out of a certain item (in contrast to the Howe location) so you get to the mid or end of your order only to find out there's no guac, or chips, or salsa.

This location has been open for almost a year and the negative reviews span that entire time period so it is surprising to see that management has not made improvements. I'm unlikely to return and I will avoid the other locations in the city.

Given how much eating out and food costs nowadays, consumers should be unwilling to accept this level of service and take their business elsewhere. A drop in this restaurant's bottom line is likely needed in order for them to realize they cannot take their customers' business for granted.

Ordered a large order on doordash. Took a long time, but the quality was as expected for chipotle. Portion size was as expected too.

Do not thought to come about food they are harassing on there own co worker around 3 pm boy in punjabi slang words (monkey). He was looking ok to us working hard but she was still yelling on him.we were feeling bad for that gentleman.i wouldn’t recommend this place to work and eat. Management please teach them some work rules otherwise you will be famous

Everything about this place sucked. The serving area was filthy, the bottom of the barrel portions were old and they really skimp out on toppings. Had Chipotle in the states years ago, it was brutally good. This was anything but that, a run-down dump offering poorly wrapped slop by un-motivated teens was a huge let-down. Over $20 for a burrito? I don't think so.

Got a bowl with white rice, black beans, half chicken, half steak, guac, cheese, and lettuce. Delicious! Chips and queso? Amazing

Definitely the worst chipotle probably on the entire planet.only go here if u wanna pay full price for children's sized portions, cause the bowl came with half the amount… super disappointed cause i was excited to have a chipotle within walking distance… also the staff is extremely rude and rushes you through the line even tho there were only 2 people behind me… i definitely know the staff don’t get paid enough to care THAT much, I’m sure it’s a management issue… worth it to walk to the chipotle on howe st instead, believe the other reviews all saying the same thing.i regretted not listening deeply

New restaurant, they started off with new staff and it was underwhelming but now they have improved a lot. They are being good with quality and quantity of food

Place wasn't even busy and the lady rushed me through the ingredients so fast I couldn't even understand what she was saying cause she was talking as fast as she possibly could. She couldn't even bare to take half a second longer on anything. Burrito was made poorly because of just throwing ingredients onto it.

It's the 2nd time i have been there and the 2nd time of terribly quality and customer service. Won't be going back.

I have bought food here 5 times. The portion sizes are all over the place. Had a burrito today (Aug 17,2022) that was somehow half the size of the one I had last week. I'm not coming here again if thats the risk I am taking with every order.

First, I went to order in store, there was no half/half protein option, the cashier just assumed you add extra protein. And when i about to pay my food, there was just one more person Behind me, so no busy hour, the cashier split some steaks out of my container when she tried to get it to me. She didn’t offer to give me back some meat. She didn’t say sorry, just blame to her coworker who prepared my food. I don’t like this attitude and not planing to come back again.

Similar to other reviews, the portion size is laughable in comparison to any other Chipotle I've ever been to and/or burrito bar other than Chipotle. Walk a few blocks over to the Howe Street location for a way better value.
I'm skeptical of the few 5 star reviews this location has, I think they must be from employees or friends of the franchise owner. Doesn't make any sense.

Terrible service, i literally never ever post Complains, and I’ve worked both retail and serving industry so I know what its like as well as I know when someone is just messing around and not taking responsibility

The worst service ever, the employee wouldn’t want to take 1.25 in cash for salsa using as an excuse that today they were too busy to take cash, i also ordered to go and asked them to please leave the tortilla a bit longer in the heating thing ao they wouldn’t arrive cold (mind you I live less than 10 mins away from that location) and they also disregarded it.

One of the to-go orders was a 3 taco stake order and when I got home it had no stake, while they were preparing it, the girl changed place with another tall guy and he didn’t care to ask for my order again and charged me the full stake for just veggie tacos, and when I called to complain the so called manager said that X girl (I gave them an exact description) didn’t work there and tried to blame me for the situation.

I paid full price for a children’s portion on a burrito bowl. 10/10 will never order here again

Understaffed, tiny portions, long waits, always running out of items on the line - several people walked out. If you can make the walk, go to their Howe St location.

Update: 5 Stars to 2 Stars after 2 months.
Portion definitely got significantly worse haha not worth $15 + drink roughly $18.
Especially with Ebi-Ten right beside will likely not be back for a while.

Terrible service, waited directly in front of the window, 1m away from an employee who refused to acknowledge my existence. They more focused with cleaning than helping customers. Waited 10 minutes for my order after the pickup time despite it being empty in the store, turns out they made my bowl and then somehow misplaced it? Got to eat a cold burrito bowl with a terribly small portion (in comparison to other locations) and then to top it all off, violent food poisoning afterwards.

Turns out I should have read the other reviews first. STAY AWAY. Whoever the manager is at this location failed miserably at training their staff. Go to the Howe St location instead.

This is the worst Chipotle ever. The salad was soggy, portion was small and tasteless. Don’t waste your money there

This place is bad - Chipotle head office should shut this place down. I felt like I was in a horror movie, rushed through the line like a farm animal. It smells like paint and the portions are noticeably smaller than others. Avoid like the plague.

It's no surprise this location is averaging 2 stars. Like others have said, they give small portions and the staff are frequently rude. They also rush and often don't give you what you ask for. On one occasion I called out a staff member on her mistake and rather than apologizing she argued that she hadn't done anything wrong. Must be really terrible management here.

The servers here are serving half the quantity of food to maximize their yield. Very very stingy and rude. Do not go to this location. The meal which is typically good for two people wasn't even enough for one. On my veggie bowl, I asked for guacamole to be on the side instead of on top, she told me it'll be an extra charge. I've never had any other location tell me that nor do they have any reason to. I paid for it, right? Who cares if it's sitting on top of the rice or the side.
