Chipotle Mexican Grill

The food is excellent. The service is appalling. The cleanliness is ATROCIOUS, I am not sure how the health authorities allow this business to serve food when garbage is everywhere and NO ONE is taking the time to clean or SANITIZE the tables and the serving area. In my last visit I asked the manager to please clean one of the tables, her answer was "we don't have time to do that".
Used food and beverage items from previous customers are left on tables and the new customer suppose to clean and remove the abandoned cutlery, napkins and other utensils used previously. INCREDIBLE!

I am contacting the City of Vancouver to ask them to inspect this establishment. If they don't clean the tables, remove the garbage from the floor or sanitize I wonder what's behind the counter.

I am not making this up, just check the photos or visit the place on a busy evening and you"ll see by yourself.

I am fairly regular with Chipotle. One day they were out of sour cream. It happens. But I was having a bad day and so I let them know I didn’t like it. Snimer [staff] was very understanding, and a whole MONTH later she actually remembered my face and gave me extra food and free guacamole! Now that is next level customer service, definitely worthy of recognition for her genuine care for her customers. Thank you so much Snimer!

I recently visited Chipotle and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. From start to finish, it felt like a rushed and unsatisfying visit.

First and foremost, the food was incredibly salty. I understand that everyone has different taste preferences, but this was beyond excessive. It seemed like the chefs had a heavy hand with the salt shaker, resulting in an unpleasant and overwhelming flavor in every bite. It's disappointing when a restaurant known for its fresh ingredients falls short in this department.

To make matters worse, the staff seemed more interested in speed than customer satisfaction. From the moment I stepped up to the counter, it felt like a race to get my order completed. There was little attention paid to my requests and it was clear that efficiency was the top priority. This rush left me feeling like just another face in the crowd, rather than a valued customer.

A particularly frustrating incident occurred when I asked for more black beans. Instead of accommodating my request, the server seemed hesitant and eventually gave me a minuscule portion. It was evident that this decision came from higher up, as I overheard the manager instructing the server to be stingy with portions. This level of micromanagement is not only unprofessional but also goes against the spirit of a customer-centric business.

Pretty good food. Great atmosphere. Lots of places to sit with many different types of seating. Good service that is fast and easy while in a convenient location.

I ordered ahead on the app and showed up to the restaurant 5 minutes early. I noticed that and order which resembled mine was sitting on the prep counter half assembled. Sure enough, 4 minutes past the promised time they topped it with the refrigerated ingredients and handed the bag over.

I expected it to be warm at the very least due to my commute home (about 10 minutes), but when I sat down to eat it the bowl was completely cold. Even in the middle. Not just the lettuce, sour cream etc.the rice was completely cold all the way through.

Never ordering from this location again, this should not have happened.

Do you think this is an acceptable amount of food for $21? Other locations give you enough food but this location only gives enough for a small child and it was not even busy. Also it seems like they give enough food for others but not for my friend and I. No idea how I offended the already rude worker since all I said was yes and no. If you like wasting money you should go and eat here.

Good food, but the wait is consistently ridiculous. After 11am there are lineups to the door and sometimes down the street. Management is leaving so much money on the table here. Hire some staff.

Very less portion size compared to other Chipotle locations. Forgot to add fajitas or cheese. I know I went during the lunch rush but still the service could have been more attentive and a little less rushed.

The Chipotle and service is good. But staff need mask. And you want to buy beer you need two ID cards.
If you need receipt you should tell quickly. They don’t ask to you need receipt or not.

It's a bit annoying to say that you don't wear a mask in front of food.

Worst service ever. The portion is so small and just so much salsa that my bowl was like soup.

I come here quite often since it's close to my work. It is a fast food spot so I don't expect it to be perfect. But it has been a zoo in there lately. Garbage is over flowing, pop fountain doesn't work properly, the ice dispenser doesn't work at all, the station where you get forks and napkins is a mess. The workers are working hard they just need to schedule/hire more staffs. Foodwise it's hit and miss. Sometimes it's pretty good, but I think managment just doesn't set high enough of a standard of what's acceptable to serve to their costumers so sometimes the workers just do whats convenient. For example, I know they always charge for guac but if that's the case can you at least not use unripe, hard to bite in avocado? And lately, I always bite into a small piece of pit in the quac which is hard and kind of gross. The last time I was there it really deserve a one star but I'll give it two for other decent experience I have had there.

Line up during lunch time was long but I ordered online and was able to skip the line to pick up my food from the side. Great portions (selected "extra" for many of the toppings).

Super impressed. Amazing price, fresh and healthy meal and very clean inside… will be my go to place from now on.the huge bowl you get for that price…. Can’t beat that plus the quality … for a chain place. Wow! 10/10

Tasty burritos, but their chips are often stale. I have been given stale chips on multiple occasions, at both the Broadway location and the Robson location. They need to do better to ensure they are only serving fresh chips.

This might be the most chaotic and unhygienic Chipotle Branch. Needs more staff and attention!

Convenient location and it’s open late, which is helpful for a quick and relatively healthy meal to-go. I always get the chicken bowl because the meat is moist and flavourful. Steak is my second favourite. I would’ve rated this location 2-3 stars just last year because (1) the waits were ridiculous and (2) the bowls looked half empty. With the current staff, the waits are reasonable and bowls actually fill me up. Sometimes they make you wait a long time before you can pay and your food is just sitting there on their counter. The price is decent considering the veggies/ingredients you get and portion size. I don’t like guacamole too much but it’s decent here. The chips are perfectly salted with hints of lime, delicious when warm. Note they have a rewards program now!

Worst chipotle branch in Vancouver. The quantity of food they serve is very low compared to any other branch in Vancouver.

Had some really tasty food here. I love the customization and all the extras you can add. Food was late being made but i still enjoyed it. Very busy
