Choice Billiards & Cafe Ltd

Lovely middle aged gentleman greeted us on a random midweek evening here. The place was mostly empty, a few tables had players (some young guys were unnecessarily loud, excited player, one would guess). The place got busier later in the evening. The only downside to this place is their liquor licensing restrictions. You can only be served alcohol in the dining area and aren’t aloud to consume it anywhere else beyond the dining area. I guess there’s a positive effect of it becoming a controlled and manageable environment in the pool area. We didn’t order any food on this occasion, but will be back soon to try their grill:)

$24 an hour, kinda pricey, no a/c so summers are too hot, but the pool tables are good, the cue sticks need upgrades, but no where else to play really.

Spacious place with lots of tables but not standard size, specially pool tables.
Very expensive. They charged us $25/hourly only for pool table.
No drinks allowed on tables around the pool table. Cues are very poor quality with broken tips.
This place can be much better.

I love this billiard! Takes such good care of us whenever we drop in. Place has become family really, been going here for nearly 10 years. Super friendly and the kabob ️!

This place is fantastic! Reasonable rates. Lots of tables. 4x8’s-4 1/2x9’s and 6x12 for the real players lol The owner is the nicest guy and the food is great. Lounge area to chill and have drinks, TV’s and music. I go here a lot and was not paid for this review……. Yet. Have fun!

Choice billiards is very nice place it has a very positive vibe. The owner there is very friendly and treats everyone with joy and respect. Highly recommend place to have fun and spend some quality time with friends. They have nice burgers and wings.

Chill atmosphere for playing pool. Maz is awesome he always makes everyone feel welcomed. Their fries and nachos are the best!

Playing at this establishment for over 2 years now. Family-run operation, become very part and partial with the owner, His Family. Endeared to this establishment. Nice, roomy, amenities, high ceilings, food and drink. Well run pool hall, late closing times 1-2am depending. Two variants of regulation sized pool tables - Many of them to choose from. Three excellent, well kept snooker tables. Plenty of television sets, music of course and lounge area. Pleasure to play at Choice Billards regularly.

10/10. Amazing place to chill with my friends, relax, have some good drinks and food and play some pool. The owner is dope

Price per hour (23/hr) doesn't match with the quality of service and pool tables and equipments.

Great place to play pool with a good buddy.the owner is a really nice guy never had any issues with him.the tables are a little close together so if its busy it can get crowded fast and hard to play without smacking the person behind you when trying to make your shot.

Fantastic Pool hall has everything you need and plenty pool/snooker tables prices are good and atmosphere is great. Overall fantastic pool hall and is relatively close to Langley which makes it even more accessible for people not in Surrey!

Low key place. Go there to have fun with friends. Dont expect a lot of comfort but great to get away from day to day

Had a blast with friends. Nachos were awesome. Atmosphere is fun, will definately come back and shoot some billiard again soon!

Currently teaching my 11 year old daughter the art of the pool table. Have never even come close to having a bad experience here. Staff is amazing. Great tables. I recommend this place often.

There are many pool and snooker tables.
Although some of the tables are roughed up and need the change of choth.

Been going there for a long time but everytime struggled with the same thing. Owner is very rude, arrogant and impatient.

Best place in Surrey to shoot a game of pool. Also good food and great atmosphere to have a couple of drinks and the owner is very friendly.

It's one of the last pool Halls left in the lower mainland. I'd give it 10 stars for that alone. Support businesses that provide fun!

There are lots of tables and the rates are reasonable. They have food and drink options as well, however you may not drink at the billiards tables which is understandable but takes away a little if you are with a group of friends.

Owner is nice. They have a good customer service and fair prices. Too bad you cant drink at the pool tables.

Although the week scene looked like this (empty place) @ 9 PM, it was all packed by next 30 mins. Good place to hangout with your gang. It's not just pool/billiards they got foosball, air hockey and many more options.

Big and well organized tables and cues are well maintained bit its expensive 2 racks of pool cost $9 just less than 10 mins we finished in

Worst snooker tables I've ever played on, here in metro Vancouver! They have around 8-9 pool tables and 2 snooker tables! There's no other snooker place around this area in Surrey, so no other options

Very nice, tables were good, cues were also. Table sizes:
Bar type pool tables
Regular pool tables
Billiard tables

Only problem, we had to wait until 3pm to play. Was well worth the wait though. Surrey only has this pool hall as well as a place called Pacific pool hall, which kind of looks like a dump!

I'd recommend Choice Billiards over Pacific which also seem like they have trouble with the times they are supposed to open.

Not many places to shoot pool in Surrey, and after having a negative experience with Pacific Billiards (see my review), this place opens on time and the owner is very welcoming. Food and beverages are available. Management offered to stop the clock if I wanted to go up front for a beer. Silly BC liquor law not being able to drink alcohol at your pool table. I didn't like the thumping base with what sounded more like gangsta rap, in fairness, it's not my type of music and at least it wasn't too loud. But base is base. I do recommend them for a pool hall.
