ChongQing on Robson

One of the best Chinese lunch deals I've seen in years! Just under $16 (includes an AMAZING hot & sour soup) with your choice of a number of dishes! Amazing food, great service! Definitely will be back.

Didn't expect I was purchasing the worst beef and broccoli dish in Canada. The take-out order took 5 minutes.it was both hot and cold-as if someone immediately took it from the fridge and microwaved it. The mystery here is that the broccoli was burnt. Maybe it was left in a warming tray all day? The 'beef' was cut very thick. Very leathery texture. Why wasn't it tenderized? The sauce was a weird bbq red colour and thick in consistency like gravy and had no minced garlic.a staple. Overall, ingesting this was like licking the bottom of a cast iron pan. I should've suspected something was off when all the staff came out of the kitchen to hand me this order. Kicking myself for dropping $23 to eat someone else's leftovers.

We ordered take out this evening the food is terrible chicken is like a leather hard to chew fried rice with shrimp you can count the amount of shrimp and the way they cook the fried rice you can tell was cook to rush I am very disappointed portion too small and worthless this is the last time I will order their food.

Great food - the location on Robson Street is hidden away. I wish the portions at the Robison street Branch would match the the portions that they offer at commercial street. I find that the portions are almost half of what I would get at The commercial street location. Food has always been good at this restaurant.

Service was fair. No hostess. A woman taking orders from a table looked up to ask me if I was ordering then directed me to a menu towards the back. She got another woman to take my order once I decided. She was nice enough. I ordered the Szechuan fried rice with just chicken. Spicy, decent enough. Chicken was in small portions. My concern was the pebble in the food. I’m not excited to finish the rest…

After a bad experience at another restaurant. We walked in and I spoke with the manager and explained what happened at the previous place. She right away said yes please come in. Set up a table for 10. We ate, had a pleasant experience. The staff is VERY helpful and caring. I will definitely eat here again when I come back to Vancouver. THANK YOU!
