Chopsticks

I am from Alberta. It is hard to find good Chinese food there. Chopsticks food is delicious and the portions are huge. This is probably why they are so busy and take way over a hour for delivery. If I get the opportunity to work in Castlegar again I will definitely be ordering again.

Best Chinese food I’ve had in ages. Can’t wait to go back! We ordered a couple of combos, everything was fantastic!

Food was subpar. Always had ordered the beef and tomato but this time it was unrecognizable as the same dish. Only one waiter for entire restaurant and no heat in restaurant. Had been going to this restaurant for 15 years but no more.the quality is terrible and so is the service.

Fairly decent chinese food especially in Castlegar - I was pleasantly surprised.

Food had a good amount of flavour and is in line with what western chinese food is.

Restaurant custom made me an order of beef and green beans in black bean sauce, which was nice. However, I found there was too much oil in the sauce. Other than that, the rest of the food as mentioned earlier was fairly decent.

Probably the best place to get Chinese food in the Kootenays. When I'd go there for lunch, the servers were always engaging and fun. Dinnertime service can be a little slow but hey, good things come to those who wait, right? If anything does go wrong, Kenny will bend over backwards to make sure YOU are satisfied. Honestly, I don't think the man ever sleeps!

This is a great choice when one daughter is saying "I want sushi! " and the other one is saying "I don't like sushi! "

We've always been happy with the food but sometimes the service is quite slow. They are a busy place! It's a nice, central location and they also deliver so that's great.

Another thing we like is the virgin cocktails, which my kids loved.

This is my second time having chopsticks first time ordering to go. Chicken is like double battered not cooked all the way thru. And where’s the rest of my chow mein? Like the portion in this box are so off. I got like 3 bites of chow mein. The gentlemen was very nice and everything but I have an issue with this food portioning.

I haD the WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE! Last time we ordered takeout 1 dish was wrong and the woman at the restaurant said a credit of the dish would be given to me the next time. So today when I ordered takeout went to pay she so rudely insisted I received a free dish the last time but I obviously did not! That woman stood their arguing with me over and over that I was wrong! The manager guy even okayed it that I was to receive the free item and she still fought with me over this! I've never had such a rude experience in a restaurant in my life. It's a shame because we order food from there a lot and now because of this rude woman we won't ever be eating there again. She should NOT be working with customers that's for sure! Rudest woman ever!

Definitely has gone downhill. Not very flavourful and had some weird gravy as one of the chow mein sauces. Too bad as it used to be a favourite.

Huge portions, best chicken balls and beef broccoli I’ve ever had. Still working on the rest…Yup egg foo yung is great! Bit of a long wait for delivery though. But hey it’s Saturday night!

Great experience. Will surely visit again for another round of good food and fine dine-in experience.

I never leave reviews for restaurants that aren't great, but this just had to be done. We ordered dinner for New Year's from this place and it was without a doubt the most disgusting food either of us has ever had. Gyozas were burnt, chow mein was a soup of this bland, strange tasting sauce and so was the pork. The chicken balls had like an inch of flavorless breading over even blander chicken. Almost everything else was absolutely horrible too. We threw out almost everything, having wasted like 60 bucks on this complete trash. This place should be ashamed of itself as a restaurant.
