Best in town! My friend mentioned him, I flew in from toronto and got a beard trim, it was just perfect! 10/10 recommended

Good ploy to keep people doubtful. It's smart but not if it's your go to reply.

Haircut was half heartedly done at this price point. Wasn't much better than a 50 dollar cut. Could have been better. Fade is decent, didn't do much on styling and texturing on top, suspect lacking in technique and exprience.

Nice little salon, his chair is located at the bottom left corner down the steps and has a square reader to take payment with a bunch of layrite bottles in the center. But how would I know that if I never had you?

Everyone seems to be happy with his service. I wanted the hype to be true as well. Unfortunately, it's average at best.

Edit: you already accused me of not coming to your salon and calling me a liar after I left a 3 star review. You really think I want to discuss getting a refund with you after that? Poor record keeping on your part.

Btw the bathroom is located in the center of the stairs. You want me to describe your fellow stylists in the salon too?

The service includes consult and hair cutting, without hair washing, charging around 80 bucks excluding taxes.

The barber tried to do small talks before and after the hair cutting, less communication when focused on work. He also showed patience about details, depite the slight assymetry of two sides.

The final hairstyle was presented descent at first, but weird since hours later. To be honest, my cousin (not a barber at all) did a much better job second time doing me a haircut.

During the haircut, the barber showed some cool ways of picking up scissors and cutting the hair, however, being occasionally a bit aggressive. My hair has some knots, and it sometimes felt painful when he was cutting and combing the hair.

To sum it up, I wouldn't say I was satisfied about it. You may have a try but not recommended.

Probably the best haircut I’ve gotten. Price is too expensive for me.was 100$ for haircut and beard not including tip so ended up at 122$.
Again, best job ever done on me. Chris pays attention to every little detail and I’ll probably come back before I go to special events, but I cannot afford to go every time that I need a haircut unfortunately. I wish I could cuz he’s the best

This was my first visit to have my haircut with Cristian. From the minute I arrived the experience was absolutely wonderful. He is a genuine soul, and very easy to chat with, so I felt comfortable right away as I am more often shy when getting my hair cut. Today was my second haircut with Chris, this time I wanted something more challenging given my hair and age. Chris gave me exactly what I wanted, again.
Personable, professional, a great communicator, very relaxed, Chris listened to what I wanted. Both times he looked at the photos I had, listened to me, and matched the looks exactly. And he made the looks work for a guy much older than the models in the photos, delivering a cut that took 15 years off my age (56).
As in all things, you get what you pay for. Chris charges a bit more than I used to pay, but when I walked out I knew I had a great haircut, and it got better and better before it finally grew out. Chris delivers confidence.
Booking and paying are easy. There was lots of parking right in front on a Saturday.
My wife is a brutal critic of every aspect of the way I look, and she loves what Chris does. I couldn't be happier. It's so hard to find a guy who knows what he's doing, but Chris delivers. I cannot recommend him enough.

Was in and out in 30 minutes with a meticulously trimmed beard. Nice and close to Granville island. Will be back
