Usually do drive-thru. Atmoshere is your standard fast food type restaurant.

Only one thing to note:
Sometimes the original chicken is a little spicy like they fry both original and spicy chicken in the same fryer.

This has been my go to place for fried chicken because of how quick service and you always get the chicken fried chicken same way. It’s been for more than 15 years. So I ordered food through the drive thru window. There was no line up and only one customer in the restaurant. As I ordered their 14pc combo with 2 large sides, there’s was 2 attendants at the window (1 was taking my order, and 1 was chit chatting the lady taking my order) she then can’t figure out how the til works, while I have my phone ready to be tapped on the machine. Took her long enough to figure out then I was able to pay. I was told to wait on the door just after the drive thru window for my order. As I moved, I saw one gentleman eating by himself while one older asian lady was attending to a couple taking their orders. I waited for about 10mins, then decided to come down and look what all the delay is while there’s another car behind me waiting for their order as well. There I saw the staff that took my order giggling and laughing while showing each other their cellphones. How is this even allowed while working and handling food? The service and quality of food on this location has declined rapidly over the past few months (my guess is new ownership as there are more brown service people working now) I’m sorry for the very hard working Asian lady at the front, while she watches her younger co workers laugh and slack while at work. I hope the owner or manager do something about this. They even have the guts to ask for tip on their machine and provide service like this? If this doesn’t change at all, I will forward this complain straight to head office.

TO THE MANAGEMENT OF THIS LOCATION, PLEASE STOP TELLING YOUR CUSTOMERS THAT YOU WILL IMPROVE THE SERVICE IF ERRORS KEEP ON HAPPENING. IT HAS TO START WITH YOU. I HOPE THAT CHURCH'S CHICKEN CORPORATE GETS TO READ THIS REVIEW AND FIX THIS ISSUE.

I paid around $15 for a sandwich that barely had anything don’t go here unless you wanna still be starving after a meal

Ran out of chicken!

Update: ran out of chicken again. Had to wait 20min during dinner time.

Used to be my go to location and the Philippino crew was always the best. Enough fries, good chicken, fresh stuff. Now it’s all gone to garbage.

The guy at the counter told me he only has legs for 3 piece combo so I assumed he would swap out the thingy for 2 legs instead. Opened it up and nope just 1 leg. The other guys used to do it for the customers.

The fries used to be in a bag separated from the chicken and full to the brim. Now it’s just shoved on top of my chicken like they just threw it on top and I don’t even know the volume since there’s no container bag (looks like 6 or seven pieces). Thanks guys my midnight run is pretty ruined

This is the best church’s chicken i have ever been to. Also, the staff always takes care of the customer, perfect and quick service.

Asked for fresh wings. Told me to wait for 12 mins. I waited outside but turned out they forgot about my order. Had to wait for another 15 mins. The burger looks like this too. Yikes

A bad experience.my husband ordered five wings and double check five wings.but he paid for ten wings price.so we received ten drumsticks.l love wings.nobody tell me why they are ten drumsticks or quantity change ten. Drive thru takes 20 minutes, and 15 minutes for your order to come, they told me to wait in the parking lot, i went inside because they told me that my order will be ready in 6 minutes, so i went inside to get it after 15 minutes of waiting. The lady inside scratch her neck and put her bare hands inside the box before placing the chicken, due to covid they should be wearing a gloves, its very unsanitary and unsafe. Ever since the staff changed, it seems that the new employees are having a hard time managing it. But my concern is more on not wearing a gloves.

Dropped to 1 star after today.
Do you mind waiting 5 minutes for fresh tenders to cook. Sure. Please pull around and park in front.
20 minutes later I walk back in and they have no idea what I am talking about. What a waste of space.

I just ordered from drive- thru today (Dec 28) around 11 pm.
The guy with glasses taking order was extremely polite and awesome. I always get church's because of their good customer service.

We ordered at drive-thru. A lady told us it would be 12-15 minute, and she would give to us in front. But after we waited 20 mintues, no one came out. Then we lined there again, and figue out: they even did not perpare our order.

This is the worst Church’s Chicken experience I’ve ever had. I’ve been to many Church’s Chicken locally, in N. America or even in Taiwan, in the last 40+ years. This location is the worst. They mailed out coupons that gave no discount. I ordered 10 pieces “regular” and received 5 “regular” and 5 “spicy”. They handed the order to me in a broken plastic bag, and when I told them, the server just tied up the bag and told me it won’t break. So, I had to carry it really carefully. Plus it seems like they’ve been using the same pot of oil for a long time and the oil had already turned dark. The service at this location was not good before the name change, and it’s getting worse after changing to the new name. Extremely poor customer services and poor management.

I love the chicken wings! Yum yum. I ordered on the spot to take out. It was busy and I was told that I had to wait for 20 mins. The girls are friendly. I will order on its website next time for sure.

They had a new renovation and changed name to Church's Texas Chicken. It looked clean, but I saw a lot of flies. I found a coupon from their website, but they didn't allow me to use it. At last, I bought 2 sandwiches and 6 pcs of chicken wings to go. After I went home, I found 2 sandwiches and 5 chicken wings only. It wasted my time to go back to negotiate with them. Please remember to check your take out order before you leave.

This is my first review. I never really go online and write reviews but this time i feel it won’t be fair if i do the same this time as well. The customer service I received today was exceptional, in-fact the best i ever had. Guy named Damanjot went above and beyond to make sure i was satisfied with the food. He was super friendly and professional at the same time. Its very rare that you experience this kind of customer service even late at night. He definitely deserves a raise. Very happy and will make sure i keep coming back.

3 days later my guts are solidifying again, I knew better. I'm a good looking white guy, 3 days ago I bought a Texas chicken sandwich and really didn't like the look on the guys face, the girl was nice, but he made the sandwich, I had a bad feeling and I was right. I think he put old sauce on it cuz my guts were liquified for 2 days. P. O. S, what a low thing to do, should have known considering the source.

Crispy fried chicken. Tried the spicy fried chicken. The chicken meat under the batter is a bit on the saltier side so they're very brined. A little better than KFC. Not bad. Not excellent. It's alright for fast food fried chicken and satisfies junky cravings.

I ordered Tex Supreme "Combo" and 10pcs chicken, but they didn't put a bottle of Pepsi for combo.

Disgusting food, Horrific service. The last 4 visits I’ve had the displeasure of making my order has been botched. When I go to complain the staff make it seem like my fault and do nothing to rectify the situation. “Fresh” Chicken tenders were rock hard and inedible.

The place is just like the other fast food, there is no sitting and chill environment, but I loooove their spicy chicken it's basically the only fast food I like so far to eat and it's waaaay better than the other competitors

Juicy Bomb Chicken! Nothing much to add. Recommend drive thru since covid dine in isn't available but regardless its a fast food chain don't really expect ambience or anything besides good fried chicken.

After I had finished the drink I found there was a machine part inside the cup! How disgusting! I feel really bad especially during such covid period. Everyone check their drink before start drinking!

Used to be great and delicious. I guess with the covid-19, the quality of the food changed a bit. I enjoy Churches Chicken more than KFC because at Churches' their fried chicken was crispy and super hot (temperature). But twice I've had fried chicken served warm and not so crispy. Hope the store wouldn't fry so much chicken each batch so they can be served hot and crispy.

Took an uber from richmond to this place. Since its 24 hours and wed figured wed just get some food here. Came here and the girl at the counter rejected us since she said were closed and only taking drive thru orders. Like it would matter if she just make a few tweaks on the system since were already there. What an idiot customer service. So disappointed.

Brown worker doesn't wash their hands, especially when they’re handling money, also when they touch their skin (scratching skin, head, nose), yikes! I just notice that when i was eating there, they should put camera so management can see how well they maintain their cleanliness. I would always come back for the food, employees are nice as well but whenever I buy anything after 8pm they ask you to wait atleast 15mins for thighs.

This Churches is a favorite of mine. Excellent Chicken served freshly cooked it's still very hot when you get home from the take out window, or you can dine in during regular business hours. Friendly staff enjoy kidding around a little bit they make it fun and friendly, I would recommend this Churches to everyone. Please "Like" to show me I am making a difference. Thx

It's only the second church's chicken I have visited and it was again very good. Staff was very friendly. Love the chicken.

If you want crispy fried chicken this is a great place for it! Love their jalapeno cheese bombers too!

I had the fried chicken, jalapeno poppers, honey biscuit, and fries. Quality is like regular church's chicken. Service was good, and workers were kind. Only downside is I had to wait a little longer than what i would for a fastfood joint (over 15mins to get my order). All in all a good experience.

Haven't been to Church's for a while. It seem the qualify has gone down a bit. The chicken was salty and soggy. The sogginess could be overcome by just simply resting the freshly cooked chicken for at least five minutes before serving to the customers. Two pieces of dark meat (one piece of drumstick n thigh each) cost $6.75 these days.

Always used to enjoy church's chicken, but since it came under a new owner on blundell, the quality has gone down. When I picked up a combo, the chicken was luke warm and the fries were cold. Previous owners were better quality. Won't go back there again

Pretty close to the filipino chickenjoy! Must try and bonus that most of their stores are open 24 hours.

Despite the fact that I cannot handle spicy food. The spicy chicken here are so good that sometimes are irresistible. This churches just taste better than the other ones I've been to. Line up gets crazy in the middle of the night around 2-3am.

This place has been around since I was a kid and I still enjoy going here for fried chicken. Their fried chicken is always crispy and fresh. I recommend ordering their original recipe and adding their pickled jalapenos if you want to add a kick of spice. The vinegar from the pickled jalapenos also cut the oilyness from the deep fried goodness. Their pieces of chicken are always plump and juicy. This location is also open 24 hours so you can get your chicken fix anytime. And if you're feeling extra lazy, use their drive thru. Their fries are okay.

Did they sell the restaurant to indian or something? I was there trying to buy drive thur last night, window was open, no one was there and SUPER LOUD Indian music situation was going on lol After waiting for a min someone finally came take my order. Food was fine, biscuit was so oily. Pepsi was flat. Chicken was ok. Apple is still good. Anyhow I had diarrhea next day. 1 star for turning down the music to take my order with good attitude!

Love the product. Always great tasting, and always correct when filling orders. Staff are very happy and serve their customers wonderfully. It has become our "GoTo" place for the best deep fried deliciousness we have come to love and crave.

Just ordered 2 chicken sandwich combos and a tender combo.after waiting what seemed like forever even tho we were the only ones in line, we get home 5 mins away and our food was freezing cold. My kids couldn't eat it and when I tried calling no answer.needless to say $30 down the drain and still need to feed my kids

We’ve always ordered from this branch for years but just now we noticed that their fried chickens are way tooo salty.truly not healthy and wont order again- sorry.

Okay, church’s chicken does taste good OMG. Meat was so juicy and tender and don’t have the taste of freezer. Very crispy batter, right among of saltiness.

I think their original flavour is better then the spicy one.

Was told they were out of white meat, how can a restaurant run out of a main product they sell i guess bad management

Brutal customer service at night.
I've been going there after working late night for years. Every single time when I ask for spicy rice the answer is "don't have". Chicken is dripping with oil and the fries are soggy.
Really hope there will be a quality check from the corporate office as they will be shocked at what is served here.
