CIBC Branch (Cash at ATM Only)

Reduced to one teller for a lot of CIBC branches now to reduce labour cost. I just feel bad for that only person facing all customers. Other advisors in the office are friendly and always come out to help out.

Didnt want to be that guy that fusses or calls manager so i just left confused but i dont get how she couldnt wd a non reg variable gic. Also wouldnt change a preferred name to an alias because its not my legal. Had to go another branch to do it all.

Great service from Edward, a polite man with a sharp mind. Others at this location have all been polite to me but kind of hit and miss in the sharp department, which seems pretty common in banks these days, so I feel lucky to have run into Edward here.

If I could give 0 stars I would do that. Awful service, stupid staff. They don’t even know how their basic services are working. They are telling to call customer support rather then solve the issue by themselves. Waste of time, avoid them and CIBC at all!

Really disappointed. There were 3 of us waiting for service and one gentleman was waiting for over a half an hour. A woman came in 15min after all of us and Rumana came out of her office. When she saw the woman she recognized she said "What are you doing here? "
She took the woman into her office as all 3 of us were watching in disbelief.
The rest of us waiting could not believe what she did. After asking for her business card she came out and apologized. Insulting our intelligence, she proceeded to tell us the woman had an appointment with her when we clearly all heard "what are you doing here? " To add more of a bad taste in our mouths she said she closed down her system for the day and cannot take anyone else, packed up her things and left.
That was terrible on your part Rumana. You left your poor colleagues to deal with the rest of us waiting.
