CIBC Branch with ATM

Worst service ever. I bank with CIBC for alnost 20 years. Quesnel branch I recently moved to and it has been the worst service I have ever had.

Absolutely the worst service. My husband and I have banked there for many years & it used to be great. The last few years it has become a joke. We invested some money with CIBC locally, signed all the paper work for the correct risk categories that each amount would go into. After a couple of years with no change, but constant reassurance that it was invested - we found out that it was in a regular savings account. Today was my last straw with our local CIBC branch. We’re beyond tired of the constant rule changing of what is allowed & what's not, the rude attitude of the employees & the inability to follow through with what they’ve promised. I could rant on & on - but a one-star review will have to do. If you are thinking of switching to CIBC – please save yourself the stress & frustration and just don’t.

There are certain individuals I hold in high esteem and feel that their work and quality would improve if given proper facility.

However is also the issue that late night use of the ATM has sometimes been met with issues. Those said issues are not because of CIBC but rather the local less than welcome who help themself to panhandling right outside the doors usually.

I would be willing to rate higher because I have been with them for many years, but the situation lately has left me very disenchanted with this branch. I have been waiting days for a return call from a specific person in branch and nothing. When you are trying to purchase a home and they do not even bother to return calls or call when they say they will, it is very disheartening and it leaves the customer feeling like they are not an important or valued customer.
