Count your money before you come in here. Bills were sticky in the machine so he had to count by hand. Teller would have shorted me $250 and miscounted twice, different amounts each time. Only bothered to double count on the third try. Concerning for a bank.

Pretty terrible customer service compared to other CIBC branches in Vancouver. Have been in line for a teller and been ignored by multiple staff members playing on their phone instead of helping. Four people behind the counter, one helping people and 3 playing in their phones. Lady who eventually helped was very nice. Unless you like waiting in line and being ignored try a different CIBC branch.

Parking in the back lot but watch out, it is pay parking even for clients. Extremely slow service and the most unprofessional bank I’ve ever seen. No one is happy to see you so take your money somewhere else. Not to mention the whole place needs a big update.

Had a very pleasant experience while I open new account for me and my wife.

Hoda was the representative from the bank who got engaged with us. She was very helpful in getting the work done.

Frustrating experience at this branch. It took the teller a while to understand that I wanted to cancel a standing order (preauthorised payment). He advised me that he could not do this and that I would need an appointment. After disappearing, he advised that the branch had no walk-in availability. I asked about other branches and he said he could not create an appointment at another branch; only the Granville branch. I asked for opening hours of the Yaletown location and he couldn’t provide them to me. A very disjointed experience. If I can achieve all of this online, CIBC staff should be able to, too.

Staff member was late for a scheduled appointment. He seemed unaware that he had an appointment.

Once he identified that he could not provide the loan I was looking for due to visa constraints, he refused to provide any further help or recommendations.

Now that I have improved my visa status, I will be closing my CIBC account and moving my checking, savings and credit all to another institute before discussing said loan.

Worst bank in Vancouver I spoke with 2 people and both of them were so unbelievably unhelpful I've had my account since I was one and they refused to let me have access to my own money that I worked for

I ordered euros from the Cibc app, I received a call the batch received my order. I told the person I need a feed to pick them up. Go to the branch a few days later…. When I arrived they asked are you sure you used the app (account was debited) they couldn’t find where the euros would be I. The branch, turns out …. They sent them away…. They then put a dispute ordered again. Received a call few days later.once again they received the $… walk towards the branch a few minutes later, they ask who called you, are you sure you used Cibc… which I could do nothing more than laugh. I have the phone call in my phone and I came into this branch to do the dispute for not receiving the euros in the first place… then they give me a form and indicated it was at another branch.

What is this branch / Cibc doing? !
