Cineplex Cinemas Abbotsford and VIP

The only way we like to watch movies now is in VIP. The attendants take your order and bring you your food, drinks and popcorn - no lineups, no waiting, no problems.

Rick and Sherry at the VIP are awesome! Great service and fun atmosphere! Rick greeted everyone with such enthusiasm! Sherry was so attentive in her service. Thanks for an awesome evening!

Went to VIP - ordered food but never got it. Did finally get a refund and some coupons but wasn't very happy.

We experienced the VIP area for Mission Impossible. Seats are very roomy and comfortable. Staff, friendly and engaging. Food was delicious and prepared and presented well, although a little pricey.you do pay for the convenience. Overall a fantastic experience!

Things have changed at this semi- VIP location.
Brentwood is much better if you want to feel like a VIP.

I usually enjoy myself going to the movies and enjoying the food and having a great time but this time the service at the front was really good getting my information but the food and the people at the food station we're okay I was expecting it to be better it was like less quality.this is the first time I came back since quarantine thought it would be better

28 dollars for a popcorn and two.pops does anyone else think this is absolutely outrageous for maybe $0.50 worth of popcorn and from what I know about pop it's probably $0.04 each on top of the $14 to get in per person maybe it's just me

Very meh. Outtakes is closed 98% of the time and as the employee said it’s open randomly.

Every time we’ve come in the last three months we’ve been unable to get anything from outtakes. Something my fiancée loves.

Sort of ruins the whole experience when we can’t have our favourites when enjoying a movie.

Please post and standardize your outtakes hours to avoid disappointed customers.

Plus the popcorns been burnt a couple times. So keep
An eye on that.

I love this theater. Especially the VIP with extra room and comfort. During COVID they recommend wearing a mask (except when eating your popcorn) and they have limited seating and are relatively cash free. Less crowds, more relaxing and I love movies so grateful they are open

The seats don't recline, the just tip back, but with no foot stool you always feel like you're tipping forward.

Very rude and snotty cashiers here! The cashiers are extremely rude, argumentative, and unprofessional. In particular, a rude ticket cashier (her name is: Scotia) was rude. Don’t come here.

Was a good place before COVID. Can't speak for its current state haven't been there. Good luck!

Come here all the time, no complaints about viewing experience, but I do wish outtakes had reopened as well, often want a poutine during a movie.

You have to bring your own food to your seat. The movies were soo loud and. The movie was very buzy and my popcorn was cold

Usually better than last night. The service was a little off but still good. Love the comfy seats. Staff is polite and nice.

VIP is always fun with a group of adults, especially when it it is someone's first time. The movie itself sucked, but the service was good and the seats were comfortable.

The VIP theatre is great! The staff serves food and drinks right to your seat. A bit more expensive but worth it.

We love this theater and prefer VIP however lately there has been really poor selection for VIP. We have passed on 2 movies because they were not showing VIP and older movies as well as family oriented movies such a Mary Poppens were showing instead.

Shocked at the number of positive reviews about this place. Are they honest? Or fake news. We routinely visit this theater and love the big seats and the ability to have drinks etc.but, the service here is ATRICIOUS as they are forever late in serving drinks and food. Not the servers fault but due to 1.lack of servers and 2. The kitchen is at a snail place due to the fact they cook for the rest of the theatres. Not just a little bit late.but 20 to 30 minutes late regularly.

I know it's hard to keep the theatre clean in between movie but the whole floor was disgustinly sticky.

Continuing our New Years tradition of dinner and a movie.this is the only place to go! Had adult bevies and popcorn delivered using the Cineplex app.best!

Awesome but your going to pay about a extra $7 bucks per person but no lineups for food and you can have alcohol pricey but good

Excellent VIP is the only way to go! This incarnation of Cinema has brought me back to going out to the Movies!

Such a nice theatre, and VIP is a unique movie experience for a special occasion or date night.
Though it's pricey, I'd say it's worth it for a movie that you've been dying to see. Just make sure you arrive a bit early, since they'll let you order food & drinks (it's 19+, bring ID) and bring them to your large, comfy leather seat before the trailers start.

Not enough cashiers as an elder I don't like dealing with machines I like to talk to a live person and make sure I'm getting what I want. On machines I can make a mistake and then it's a mess to fix it up. I have also noticed that sometimes the washrooms aren't quite as clean as they should be. Also we don't buy it the concession as it is a very expensive and you don't have things that a diabetic can eat. And then they say we can't bring in our own stuff to eat but when you don't have anything for diabetics we have no choice. And then it's an insult when you're ordered to show them the contents of your purse.

Chairs were comfy but the consession put all my butter for my popcorn in one spot causing it to leak thru the bag and onto my dress. Not happy

VIP is the way to go. Being able to choose were you sit and reserve it is the only way to see popular movies. You never have to worry about getting stuck up front. The seats are comfortable and roomy. The menu has lots to choose from and the food is really good.

This is a really nice theater, the VIP section is especially well maintained and modern looking. The regular theaters are nice as well as the AVX.
