Cineplex Odeon Meadowtown Cinemas

I was in auditorium 7 row “I” and I turned on the phone light to confirm the seat number and I happen to the seat and the arm rest and they were literally gross. Hope they see this and address this.

Cinema is good, but the seats are bad. Some were wet and it wasn't cleaned before the screening.

First time going to this location to watch a movie as a date night. Sound was too loud in theatre no 10 on sept 10th Sunday
Also i forgot to get water bottle as we rushed in before it started. After interval i came to get water but concession was closed as per employees there. I was really thirsty so i asked an employee girl to give me a glass of water from the tap as concession was closed and the girl said no i cannot. I was surprised i could not get a glass of water from the tap. I asked them can i go to my car she goes okay but doors were locked already so she said i can go and she will open the door after drinking water in car. I came back and stood knocking on doors and no one looked and finally some girl so me and opened door to let me in. What an inconvenience just for a glass of water. It was pathetic. I will never go there again. Who says no to a glass of water from tap in the sink. I was disappointed.

We enjoyed the movie but didn't enjoy the #6 theater. I noticed the musty smell as soon as we opened the door. As well, the sound was very loud, almost to the point of not understanding what was being said. Too bad as Danzel Washington is a great actor.

Easily the best Cineplex I’ve been to. The Langley location is much closer to me, but this location is much more clean, far less busy, and a pleasure to attend. I hesitated to even write this review because I don’t want it to become crowded like the Langley location!

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean. Just very expensive $75 for 2 tickets, 2 med Drinks and 2 Reg popcorn with a scene card.

A bit less expensive than some Cineplex locations. Often the audiences are quite small, which is nice. Staff are friendly.

This was a good place to come watch a movie. Nice seats that recline. Great Sound. Clean theaters.

Living in Port Coquitlam, we always go see movies at this theatre. Basic, easy layout, great location, not usually too busy. The washrooms are pretty clean, seats need an update in the near future. Simple, straightforward.

My wife's favorite theater. Very comfortable seats and great sound system. Sometimes the lobby is a bit messy.

Went on a Wednesday with my grand daughter and her buff. We had the whole theater to ourselves. We all had a good time.

I took the family out to watch The Rise of GRU. Food and movies were great! One thing to mention is there are more food options than the combos available. Other options are tucked away but you can find it on the screen on case you just want a simple bag of popcorn

Good service and a very nice facility but good lord is the price of their drinks an absolute SCAM. I bought some Fanta for almost $7. Like I get it that cineplex needs to make a profit and I support the cinematic experience but how can they seriously justify such pricing for drinks you can get 2 liters of for $1 or 2 at Walmart or Superstore! We all should pay for good service and products but it really drives me mad when corporations scam customers like this!

We just watched Doctor Strange movie in this theatre, i would say it is a decent theatre, the seatings are good and the D-Box effect was good. But my only complaint is the picture quality seems a little less clear compared to other Cineplex, maybe because of the movie, will visit again to confirm it

Top gun maverick was amazing.can't say the same for concession.seriously no refills anymore, covid excuse doesn't cut it anymore. Bring back refills on over priced pop please and thank you.

It’s so very close to us since we moved here from Surrey, but the theatre has no reclining seats which is so bad. Very uncomfortable seats and so not used to it. We used to go so very often to the movies, since in Surrey almost every movie theatre has reclining seats, but now I always try to avoid going there. The staff is very friendly though and it’s not very busy.

As soon as you walk through the doors, scan for Covid shots. They sanitize everything. Friendly staff.

The best cinema I've been to, and I've been to a lot! Great food, clean floors (which is rare in most cinemas) and super nice staff.

Seemed like your regular movie theater. The movie was good, the seats were comfortable even for me who is on the curvy side. However the theater (5) we went into there was only one exit and entrance so it was a bit of a hassle to get to the far side on top. Plus they ran out of large bags for popcorn. Other than that staff was good.

This theater is decent sized and spacious. Cleaning seems to be adequate as well. The 4DX experience, where the seats vibrate and shake was pretty cool at first. However, soon after you find yourself annoyed and distracted by it. There are three settings for intensity. I didn't care for any of them. I will save the money and opt for a regular viewing experience next time. Regardless, a five star review is still deserved.

This theatre is showing its age, seats feel old and close to breaking. Expected that booking tickets meant that they would be spreading people out for Covid protocols but we were surrounded after choosing an empty area the day before.

I thought under the COVID restriction the seating system won't allow people to choose a seat next to someone's spot? We were the first one to reserve our seats (i.e. All seats were available), so that person who sat right next to me must pick that seat after us. How come he was able to pick that seat? I don't feel comfortable sitting right next to someone else beside my own family without a mask on even you don't need to wear it while sitting at your spot.

Most disgusting theatre i have ever been in lower mainland (Aud 9 specifically) Seats were so dirty so make sure you turn on a phone light to look before you sit on them. I saw bugs on so many seats. It was so gross plus popcorns or other gross stains. Looked like cup holders were never cleaned. So much for safety protocols in place when there is not even regular sanitation done. Stay safe out there people! On the upper hand staff was nice and friendly.

The thing that I like most about Meadowtown is It'a is 10 minutes from home but in comparison to Park Royal or any of the newer theaters it has cramped seating, no VIP & the staff turnover in this theater means the lines at the concession always move slowly

Look so poor, they are short of workers, only popcorn and very plain hotdogs for food (hot dog come with nachos, cold nachos that I did not eat) we did not eat dinner at home expecting to eat at the movies, but we couldnt

Hit the 4pm Bond movie.excellent show and relieved that there was only about 25 peeps in the theatre.popcorn still awesome

#5 theatre showing Shang Chi at 630 was very gross and dirty, sticky floors, d box seats had popcorn over them still.hopefully some sanitizing protocols!

Dbox experience was amazing but the drinks option was limited to a traditional selection. They did not have the big self serve fountain machine

Always clean, easy to navigate, friendly staff, rarely any problems with the movies compared to other theatres.

The food choices are very limited. Expect only popcorn and soda. Eat before you go. If you're going to avoid the heat wave, the air is quite stale.

Amazing large screens, seats are comfortable, staff is friendly, all Covid-19 precautions are practiced - overall a great experience!

Doors were still locked after their posted open time, but only by six minutes. Gave them a call and they let me in lol. Watched 100% wolf, it was very cute with a good message. Very clean inside, and staff was friendly.

First time back since Covid! Nicely spaced seating, friendly staff and easy to buy tickets with new social distancing in play. I would say that Landmark has much better seating though. Needs a comfort update to compete with the other theaters!

Great Theatre and Manager, bought popcorn and drinks, but had to walk out of a very bad movie, BLOODSHOT, vin diesel, bad bad ewww, they gave me a voucher, will watch something else, thank you 2 Them. Feel like I need to change or make theatres more profitable, and make sure garbage doesnt enter. I will try to figure this one out.still want to keep the theatre culture going,

Went to early afternoon movie Grudge 2. Theater needs upgrading. But had excellent experience otherwise. Clean welcoming place to watch a movie.

We come here often because its not as busy as other cinemas in the general area, staff are friendly and everything is kept clean

Great theater. Lines are always shorter here. But can get a bit chilly so bring a sweater or someone to snuggle.

Went to see bad boys 3 recently and this theater looks outdated and the personel was behind cleaning the theather room. I do like that this place usually is not crowded so if you dont like to wait in lines, this is for you.

Great multi-theater. Movie tickets here are cheaper than any other theater. Cheap ticket Tuesday is great! And lots of parking.

The Cineplex is exactly what to expect from a movie theatre. The seats were comfortable with good sightlines. The snacks overpriced. The staff friendly but woefully mismanaged.
It wasn't bad. Good thing the movie was good.

Love this theater, actually drive a bit further to come to this one. Never any issues with parking. Lineups are quick both to pay and to purchase food.

Pretty Clean theaters compared to most, Dbox / VIP experience was awesome. Washrooms were clean. We had a great time here at this location. We will return forsure

It's alright. But the food is super expensive. And the kids that they have working there don't seem to care about their jobs.

Not as busy as other theatres would give it 5 stars but usually the theatre is dirty possibly just under staffed?

Ticket host was wonderful. Super sincere and extremely pleasant. I didn't get her name, but she was in a wheel chair.

I really appreciate that they offer stars and strollers, they were the only theatre that had Frozen 2 playing for stars and strollers and it was busy. Reason they lost a star from me is because they seemed to be short staffed.no one working ticket sales only self service option, no one ripping tickets, line up for popcorn was very long as they were also the ones who were checking and ripping tickets.

I went to see Ford vs, Ferrari in theatre #9 and the volume was so loud that I left after 20 minutes of commercials and twenty minutes of the movie. The cashier said they have received lots of complaints on the same issue. They couldn't give me a refund as 30 minutes had elapsed since the start time but the manager gave me a voucher for a free movie.

No refills, way too many adds and commercials before the feature shows, $43 for 1 small popcorn, 1 medium popcorn, 1 large popcorn and 3 drinks (2 medium, 1 large). Very dirty theater. Go to any landmark.

Worst Experience Ever at a Theater. Went to see Downtown Abby. Staff let us in 5 min.before the movie started with NO lights on. The movie stopped in the middle. When they started it again, they left the side lights on. The volume was too loud. Went to the washroom after the movie, NO toilet paper. Where was management?

Unfortunately they had power issues, the experience wasn't good but the staff tried their best especially Spencer at the till was a great kid. Delta with it like a pro.

We went for Angry birds 2. I expected the 3D but they said just on weekends.
However I enjoyed the movie with my daughter.

We love this theatre. It is less busy than Silvercity Coquitlam where we live. Also, the seats are much more comfy. We choose to cone here for a movie even though it is a bit of a drive.

This is a fairly local theatre for me and I am glad it has lots of selection. We bought the holiday bundle for Cineplex and now are trying to get the coupons used up! Last year we were not even close to using them all! Love that you have a decent variety of food, premium seats, 3D choices and more!

The prices are to be expected of a movie theatre but it still has great deals (cheaper Tuesdays, scene points/rewards, combo deals, etc). I find that almost every time I'm in there I see minimal mess (we've all spilled a LITTLE popcorn at some point) the bathrooms are always clean and the arcade machines are a fun way to pass the time before seeing a movie.

Standard format movie theatre, nothing to wow about. Notice the theatre chairs in the AVX #5 are now in sad state of condition. Everyone seem to slide off them as the spring that holds the back are in auto recline mode. Some people will probably get a sore neck from it.

In a movie right now, and just sat down to a massive mess! Popcorn everywhere, drink cups still in the holders. Not coming back! Just disgusting!

We bought the ticket for the mule we got in the theater and no seat available. They didn't say so we went to another movie so as some other people had to turn back for same reasom

Today, the manager refused to put an additional cashier on duty to sell movie tickets. Management seems determined to make the ticket purchase lineup so long that people who initially don't want to use the ticket purchase machines will give up waiting for a human agent and use a machine instead.
