Cit-E Cycles Electric Bikes - Langley

I drove from Mission because I have a Surface 604 bike I bought from Cit-E cycles & the few other shops I was referred to were not helpful on the phone. As soon as I brought my bike in Jason dropped what he what he was doing to have a look at it. He source parts part right away and within minutes he had fixed my bike & I was on my way! I fully expected to leave it there and to have to wait days over a long weekend. Professional, knowledgeable & quick to be so very helpful! It doesn’t get better than this -I would totally buy a bike here again as we all know the service is the thing that makes ALL THE DIFFERENCE! Thank- you Cit—E Cycles.

Looked like great selection and they would have had a sale but I don't need attitude from the manager/GM from basic sales questions, that btw, he couldn't answer.

Jason was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful.

I’ve had chats before with folks in E-bike shops, they are busy and customer service can be a challenge. I’ve had sales folks tell me to check the website and come back when I know more!

That history has made me especially appreciative of Jason’s willingness to take the time to speak with me.

If you’re looking for an e-bike I can’t recommend this shop highly enough.

2 months into owning the bike, I had a warranty issue (NOT CitE’s fault). I honestly thought I would be out of luck after going back to them b/c retailers usually don’t care about after-sales support.

I was wrong! Jason and the guys took care of me 100%. Their after-sales support is top notch.

Can’t thank Jason and crew enough for helping me get back on my bike with the fastest possible solution.

Absolutely without hesitation I would recommend these guys!

Bought my Orbea Rise yesterday as my previous bike was wrecked when it was rear ended while on my vehicle.

The whole process from inquiring over the phone, sales, and pick up was top notch.

Jason is really knowledgeable and friendly. He was super patient when I asked him a number of questions. Absolutely no pressure when talking to him about bikes and my budget.

Hi, when I purchased my ebike from Cit-E in Langley, I was given the impression that they wanted me gone and hopefully never come back with service or any issues I may have. I had the bike stolen and have contacted them via phone and email asking for a copy of my receipt for insurance purposes. I own my own business and my thought process would be to respond since I will have to purchase a replacement. Have not had a response back. The insurance company were very understanding and just asked me to get a quote from another retailer. I did and within days have gotten approval and have also purchased another ebike from that retailer. I had original concerns about my previous dealings with Citi-E and this just reinforces those concerns.

Great experience friendly and quick turnaround time. Left my Gazelle C380 HMB in for its first service at 3,500km. Got it back the next day no charge. Developed a front break squeak after a few rides and bought it in today, Jason looked at it right away replaced the front pads cleaned the rotor and sent me on my way in 20 minutes. He said it was in the house and to have an awesome day. Happy I purchased there and its close to my home!

Jason at Cit-E Cycles in Langley has changed my life, twice. The first time was three years ago when he recommended my first electric bike, a CUBE Town Sport Hybrid One 400. The bike’s been perfect for me and I’ve since ridden around 5000 very happy kilometres on it. Jason was right there whenever I needed service or advice. I’ve just ordered a significant upgrade to the Cube (a Riece & Muller Homage) and once again, Jason has been brilliantly helpful and supportive on this second extremely exciting purchase. I’ve recommended the Langley Cit-E Cycles shop (and Jason!) to all my friends, and I highly recommend them to anyone reading this!

I had a very bad experience with Cit E Cycle Bikes in Langley, BC with a purchase of a $13,000 Riese&Muller Electric Bike on Friday AUGUST 26,2022
The bike itself seemed like a good bike at the time when at near closing time for the shop we closed the deal on the purchase of the bike. However after taking the bike home which is about 62 kilometres away I found after 2days of riding this bike I had very poor or unresponsive breaking on the bike. I tried calling and talking with the store manager that he said I could go back to the store in Langley from my home 62k away they would look at it. To me after 2 days of use and for me go back all that way is not good service or customer care whatsoever when the company should of done their do diligence to have the bike properly prepared for my delivery as they made the sale and hastily get me out the door at closing. There lack of service is more of the problem than the bike itself big time! From what I have heard from other people who have bought their bikes is they lack in that department. From all this bad experience is buyer beware of purchasing from Cit-E Cycles in Langley, BC!

On recommendations from friends we headed out to Cit-E Cycles in Langley. We wanted to see what they had to offer for my wife and myself. We both have medical issues so we were looking for bikes that would fit our individual needs. The person who came out of the back to help us seemed to be put out with every question we had. To us, it seemed he was having a bad day. When my wife showed interest in a certain bike, he didn't even offer to take it out of the row so she could sit on it. My wife asked about a test ride and the answer was no. His reason was that the bike was a buy and take bike and that if he allowed people to try it out and they didn't buy it then who would want a bike that had "miles" on it. We couldn't believe what we just heard. We said we wouldn't buy a bike without trying it first and maybe our friends who bought their bikes from them would let us try out theirs. He said that was a good idea. We left and looked at each other, both astounded at the customer service and not allowing us to try out the bikes. Too bad, we went to another bike store later in Langley, they made sure they chose bikes for us to try that fit our individual needs. They pulled bikes from the rows and had us sit on them to make sure we felt comfortable, spent over an hour with us. Two different companies, two totally different experiences. Guess who will be writing up a sale of nearly 8000.00? 2 e-bikes, 2 helmets and a Thule car rack foldable.

Put a bike on hold. Came from Vancouver Island to Langley. Was planning to do a quick test ride and buy the $5500 bike. Drove through rush hour and finally found the location luckily arrived before close. Upon arrival was abruptly greeted with you have ten minutes and we are closed. I asked to use the washroom quickly, I was quick, but upon exit the store lights had been shut off and the bike I had on hold by the till. I was dumbfounded confused. I said, I need to take it out for quick test ride. Was told, No. I said, what, I just need a quick test ride. He (manager or owner) said, No! I explained again that I had come over specifically from Vancouver Island for this bike. He said, well we are now closed. I said, okay well keep your bike then.
I remarked again that I had planned to buy this bike.
Do not not recommend this bike store. Imagine the after service if this is their pre service.
Take your money to a bike store where they care and look after their customers.
My friends, many of whom are bikers were shocked. Told everyone about my trip and the bike I was going to buy.
With ferries a long day with wasted money. Maybe owner should retire or get a better manager at the Langley store. Maybe $5500 is not enough money to spend at this store? Never encountered this kind of service in the buying of my bikes.

Hi there! Just bought the Aventon 500WATT. Great experience! Mark sells great bikes and Gurjit made my life 100 times better after replacing the brake pads front and back ones at NO CHARGE and upgraded the pads as well. Thanks guys.

My wife and I both bought our e bikes from Cit e cycle Surrey and couldn’t be happier. The service we received both before and after our purchase was excellent. We have recommended several friends to Cit e cycle and they have all purchased bikes and thanked us for recommending them.

We went to the store but felt unwelcome by the person because of unfriendly tone. Neither did the person cared enough to ask what are we looking for. Another time I called for checking if a particular bike is in stock, I was met with same unfriendly tone. I don't know if it is person's nature but I felt I was not being treated with respect. We did not feel comfortable and ended up buying our bike from Surrey store.

Very helpful and honest staff at this Surrey location. Gurjeet (I don’t know how to spell his name) took care of my rear derailleur issue. I will definitely come back and purchase my next ebike from this guys. I’m a very satisfied customer.

In order to qualify as a bicycle the chain needs to stay attached, but apparently this is not the case with a Shred. What's worse is according to the "Mechanic" at the shop that sold me this paperweight "this is what happens with an entry level bike" but the good news is he could fix this inherent problem with "cheap" bikes with a $65 Chainring!
If you are thinking of buying run away fast cause you certainly won't be able to ride.

We recently purchased 2 Bulls CrossLite EVO bikes at the Surrey store. Mark answered all our questions honestly and gave us time to fully go over and try out the bikes. Great selection of ebikes at multiple price levels. Picked up our bikes the next day at the new Langley store where we also received excellent advise on locks, pumps and got the last Thule xt bike rack in stock. Very happy with their service and the bikes are awesome. Highly recommend these stores.

I have had Bad customer service experience and I had this and nothing comes close. The Staff was absurdly rude and above all extremely condescending. When asked about a bike - the store owner of this location insisted unless I intent to buy - I cant try. Also feel free to ask him the details of any bike - his answer is always a snide comment on what is the price of the bike and maybe out of your budget.in the short 15 mins I was in the store - It was very evident what skin tone you needed to be to get a good service. From the looks of it and other reviews seems like this is not a one of issue either.

We drove all the way from Cranbrook a couple weeks ago just to get educated on ebike technology by Jason, and were not disappointed! He was the only one in the store, and it was super busy, but he took the time with everyone that called and came in. He even gave us free McDonald's coffee tickets (they're next door), so that we could give the rush some time to ease up. It was absolutely worth the drive, and their bikes are phenomenal.

I went to this store to purchase my first e mtn bike. When I went into the store there was only one guy sitting in the back building a bike. After spending some time looking at a few models I approached the guy at the back to ask a few questions and this guy (the manager) was more concerned about sitting building a bike rather than helping me. After such awful customer service I left the store and will never return. Don't shop at this store you want any kind of good customer service.

AT 62 I knew I had to get out more, and really wanted an electric bike. Mark, was so helpful, so knowledgeable, so ready to answer any questions and concerns I had, and fixed me up with a great e-bike! No sales pressure, just pure knowledgeable! Highly recommend this store, and highly recommend an ebike to anyone. SO SO SO much fun!
