Had positive and comfortable experience with getting a crown for a tooth done. Dr Danny Shum helped me understand my treatment, and answered my questions patiently and respectfully

I feel like being cheated with the service here. I came for teeth cleaning last week for 1 hour appointment. It took them 20mins to do the xray and the cleaning stopped like 10mins earlier than than scheduled appointment. Reason is that they could not finish the whole cleaning and and only half was done. They said I had to come for a second appointment. I paid that day but was not aware that it would cost me even more for the second time. The teeth cleaning cost has to cover the whole but they split it to charge every time for every service. Today I came and got charge more than the 1st time.
I’ll never come back and not recommend this place!

I cannot say enough good things about Dr Arv Sooch. His two offices - this one and the one at Cambie/Broadway - are efficient, friendly, inviting and externally professional. All the staff are great, even responding after regular office hours. Going above and beyond! Dr Sooch himself is a highly talented and experienced dentist. I'm a fan!

Experience was positive and look forward to seeing Dustin again to complete the cleaning. Also, was great seeing Dr. Lau again.

I’ve been going to this dentist for just over a year and I have to say it has been my favourite dentist so far. The staff are very friendly and Dr Shum has been great through my cleanings, fillings and full Invisalign treatment. They also recently renovated and it’s looking great! Would recommend to anyone looking for a dentist who is in the area.

Had an emergency appointment today. I called in the morning and they were able to get me in same day. I was utterly impressed with the care and compassion everyone had for me. So impressed I will be switching to Dr. Lau as my full time dentist. Thank you everyone.

Very professional and supportive dental staff, so ethical was contacted immediately to inform of overcharge which will be credited towards my next upcoming procedure. New expanded office renovations provide a more private experience to patient.

My hygienist is very nice and, although I have sensitive teeth, made the cleaning experience pain free. Fantastic.

Further, today I didn't feel well. She was so kind and patient with me. She made sure I was feeling healthy before she proceeded to work on my teeth. She didn't make me feel uncomfortable or embarrassed, but was simply fantastic.

Top notch service here. I had a broken wisdom tooth that was causing brutal pain in my face, they were able to get me in on short notice and refer me to a surgeon to get it removed same day. Their 360 degree x rays are cool and the teeth cleanings are quick and painless. This will be my dentist as long as I live in Vancouver.

It is the best dental clinic I have ever been with. Dr. Lau is caring and very nice! He always explains what to expect before a small step of each procedure and monitors any issues I can't track of. My hygienist, Kevin is amazing! He is friendly and thorough. Staff are professional. They help to remind of appointments through emails and text, and on top of checking estimates and my insurance coverage. So grateful of their service.

I live in Tsawwassen and I retired 3 years ago but continue to drive into the city for my dental care! There's a reason for that, Dr. Mawjee and his staff offer superlative service.

The new owners definitely don't understand customer satisfaction. I have been going to this place for 22 years and loved the last owner and his office staff who cared for the customers who kept coming back. Recently, I had a minor issue after my routine work and the office manager's attitude was, go take a hike!
PLUS, when I walked in to the clinic to make my appointment I was not told that my dentist will not be working that day. I love my dentist and my hygienist there but the management sure has deteriorated and customers not valued. Definitely the dentist and hygienist are to be proud of but I don't think the new management cares much for customers.

Dr. Lau was very professional and also made me feel relaxed. He was really patient in explaining things to me.

The nurse (sry I don’t remember her name TT) was also really nice the whole time.

Visit this clinic the first time. People work here are friendly. Cleaning treatment is efficient. The clinic is under renovation. Hopefully will see the new look the next visit.

The dentist isn’t my favourite place in the world but my hygienist made the experience so pleasant! One of the best cleanings I’ve ever had.

I had my first dental visit here today and can say I was extremely impressed by this clinic! The hygienist was so thorough during my check-up and noticed things I had never noticed before. She took x-rays of all my teeth and explained everything to me in detail, pointing it out on the screen as needed and giving me great tips. The technology used at this clinic was very high-tech and felt very premium. After my initial check-up, Dr. Shum did a detailed exam of my teeth and noted a few fillings that needed to be done/re-done. He was so friendly and answered all my questions during the visit/it didn't feel rushed at all. I also appreciated that he offered to do it right there on the spot vs having me come in again another day. I would highly recommend City Square Dental Center!

Had my first appointment today, and they were incredible. The whole team was friendly, attentive and quick. I was in for a general check up and cleaning and had an amazing experience. They are fairly priced, made sure to provide quotes of costs as I’m without insurance, and did not do anything without my consent. They are a punctual, polite, and incredibly professional team! 10/10 would recommend.

I have been suffering from tooth pain after receiving treatment from another clinic, so went to City Square Dental Center to get a second opinion. They were able to arrange an appointment for me in the very next day. Dr. Sooch and his assistant are amazing! They are warm and welcoming. I am so grateful that they were very patient listening to my story. Dr. Sooch examined my teeth carefully and also explained things very well to me. I can tell that staffs in this clinic care about their patients. I will continue to use their services in the future.

I started going to City Square last year needing an emergency extraction after not taking proper care of my teeth for years. I was extremely nervous going in, but Dr. Shum was very kind, informative and did everything he could to ensure I was comfortable throughout the procedure. I’ve now been seeing Dr. Shum regularly, and for the first time in my life, I can confidently say I’m not afraid of the dentist anymore! Seeing Dr. Shum and his lovely assistants is always pleasant, quick and painless. I 100% trust the doctors at this clinic and cannot recommend them enough!

Absolutely amazing service. I am from the UK and had quite a few dental procedure back home, I can honestly say this is the best service I've ever received in dentistry. Also general customer service is great, which helps with general questions and queries. Thank you!

I have been scared of Dentists since the mid 80s, when my Dentist was a heavy handed drunk who seemingly took pleasure in my fear and pain, causing me to not visit another Dentist for about 30 years. So when I needed to finally get my teeth looked at I was literally dreading every step.
Then I went to City Square Dental, and all my fears and anxiety dissolved. They completely worked with my squeamishness, and once I realized that they were going to be actually helping, and not hurting me, I relaxed and began to actually enjoy the process of bringing my teeth into the 21st Century. Dr. Danelle Chan Was so nice and made me comfortable with every step, and now that I am finished, my 7 new fillings and crown treatment was totally worth it.
I can't recommend them more highly.

I was experiencing a toothache and City Square promptly admitted me within 24 hours. During my appointment, the front desk and dental hygienist were exceptional - everyone was professional and attentive. To top it off, Dr. Arthur Lau was very knowledgeable and thorough with his explanations. Truly a pleasant and safe visit, I look forward to my next appointment.

Waited for 35 mins for my 1-hour appointment that lasted for less than 20 minutes. They bill my insurance for something like $100 for this dental exam. If anyone reading this know of a good dental practice nearby I would like some recommendations.

Been coming here for 20+ years, and am always impressed by their friendly service. Their covid safety protocol makes me feel safe to attend the clinic.

The dentist and the dental hygienists were so thoughtful and kind. They were very understanding of my anxiety and explained the whole process to me as it was being done to make me feel safe. I felt I was in great hands the whole appointment. I highly recommend this office. The experience has helped me overcome part of my fear of the dentist.

Top-notch dental care by a great team! They have rigorous COVID-19 systems and protections in place and do their best to make visits enjoyable and comfortable.

I've been coming here since I moved to Canada 14 years ago. I have never had a problem with any of the dentists, dental assistants, or reception staff. All are friendly, profession, and quick. Even moving away from Vancouver for work and school I would always come back when I'm in town. Cannot recommend enough!

My family and me have been to this dental clinic for over 10 years and we have felt taken care of as a family. Our dentist is Dr. Lau and he is so.good with our 2 girls and very attentive to detail, competent, honest and a great listener! We have subbed for other dentist and they have all been great! Hygenist have been all competent and front desk staff or kind, friendly and take care of insurance submissions.and they never do work before you are informed with your coverage. We did venture out to look for another dentist (because we noticed for young kids dental cavity care was referred out to speciality) and came back seeing the care we were actually getting was amazing! If you are looking for a new dentist, this is a great place with underground parking too.

Dr. Chan was great with my boys. She was friendly and took the time to explain everything in detail. I would recommend City Square Dental to any family! I usually see Dr. Muse who is also great:)

I have been getting my teeth cleaned at this location since I was in high school. Dustin is amazing, he is so gentle with my teeth cleaning, takes his time and always gives me great advice on how to properly care for my pearly whites.

Dr. Arthur Lau did my front teeth bonding 4 years ago and they are still looking brand new!

Their service is amazing, very professional and there staff are great!
