Clayburn Pet Hospital

I unfortunately visited this hospital for the first time under some pretty awful circumstances. As soon as I walked through the door crying, staff were there to hug me, a total stranger. The care they showed to me and my baby Fred who passed was above and beyond. They arranged his cremation and gave me such special mementos to remember him by. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the compassion I was shown.

The vet, Dr Marsin, was very knowledgeable and explained all the options available to treat my dog (Archie). Dr Marsin was open to discussing the most cost effective treatment for Archie. I came away confident in the diagnosis and treatment and one week later Archie is fine.

We just got our furbaby and this was our first visit. Dr Katt and the entire team were so great. I called to book the appointment, they got us in same day! They made the visit special for my son.

They took care of my pup with such love and patience when she hurt her paw. And they didn’t hesitate to fit her in on such short notice.

I cannot speak highly enough of Clayburn Veterinary Hospital. Situated in a comfortable rural setting, they have provided exceptionally good care for my beloved Labrador retrievers. They offer a wide range of services, including routine check-ups, diagnostics, and specialized treatments. On occasion, Dr Katz has gone “above and beyond" by providing home service, a great convenience that indicated her dedication. Over many years in business, she and the friendly staff at Clayburn Veterinary Hospital have provided for my all my pets' needs. They have earned my trust and gratitude and are my first choice for reliable and friendly veterinary care.

This was our first visit to Clayburn Pet Hospital, and found Dr. Katz to be a caring, personable, and professional veterinarian. We have no hesitation recommending her, or the practice - our toy poodle pup was given plenty of love, cuddles and a thorough exam. We are so grateful to have discovered this wonderful vet! Dr Katz is very knowledgeable and thorough. She performed the neutering procedure on my puppy. Her and her assistants were very caring and my pup’s recovery was smooth. We visited again for we had concerns about constant scratching, bare spots in his armpits. After some consultation, we were prescribed some medication that provided relief. Still good. Note of caution, enquire about fees and costs prior to intervention, this clinic is more costly than most.

We took Daniel (our rescue bully) for his yearly check-up to dr. Katz and her staff again at Clayburn Pet Hospital. Daniel suffers from fear aggression which makes it very difficult to be treated, touched etc.but with her patience, knowledge and understanding Dr. Katz was able to check and treat Daniel. We are so glad and thankful we found dr. Katz and know Daniel is in good hands.

We LOVE this pet hospital. My husband and I have moved a lot and been to many vets. Nothing comes close to the attention to detail and personal care from all the staff here. We have been struggling to find answers to our dogs chronic health issues and they have gone above and beyond in every way.

My experience with Clayburn pet hospital has been amazing! Dr Katz was very patient and thorough. She explained all of our options and didn't seem pushy or judgmental at all when I told her my financial limits.

My cat's surgery took longer than expected and she still honored our verbal agreement about price.

She was concerned about my cat losing weight after the surgery and arranged that I brought him for weigh ins every day or two for about 2 weeks when he started eating properly again. There was no charge for these weigh ins and each time either her or the staff would have a quick chat with me about my cats progress.

The staff all seemed extremely knowledgeable and they all seemed to care. There were thoughtful details throughout the office, like foam mats and towels on the exam tables instead of cold metal, and pheromone spray that they would mist in the room to calm anxious kitties.

My cat was calmer than I had ever seen him at a vet, and we've been to a couple different ones. Highly recommend!

I have used Clayburn Pet Hospital for two of my Rescue Pets.
The first dog was rejected at one Vet as he required me to double muzzle him. Dr Katz sat on the floor with him and gained his confidence and was always able to treat him thru out his life & was extremely gentle & loving when he had to be put down & we were able to be with him as he took his last breath. My current rescue has only been a short number of visits & I 'm extremely pleased with the level of care & shall maintain to bringing him in for his care. He has been easier to deal with since his medication & will be returning for future care. Thanks to Dr Katz & her wonderful staff for caring for our fur babies.

Dr. Pillar was amazing with my kitten despite my predicament. She helped me with the situation beautifully giving me really good tips, tricks, and advice regarding on how I can take care of my 6 week old. She made my extremely comfortable and I will definitely be coming back. The service she provided was 5 stars.

Dr Katz is definitely not your average vet. She takes as much time as needed to thoroughly diagnose and treat the animals in her care. You cannot ask for a more compassionate, kind, and knowledgeable veterinarian to look after your sick dog or cat.

I have been to many vets in Abbotsford but the people at clayburn pet hospital are amazing they cremated my dog and were amazing even wrote condolence letters and had a card they are amazing can’t rave enough

My dog is always very nervous going to the vet, and at Clayburn they always take the time to work with her and calm her down. She is getting better with every visit thanks to them! Highly recommend

Dr Katz goes above and beyond. She is compassionate and demonstrates this with passion in her work with animals and there owners. Dr Katz is a very knowledgeable veterinarian. I have witnessed this for more than 2 decades.

They have been so helpful with my kitten, she was underweight and malnourished when we got her, they gave me tips on food to get her weight up and give her all the nutrients she was needing. I seen a difference pretty fast. She had more energy, she was happier, her fur was so shiny and super soft. Every time I've taken her for her shots they have answered all of my questions and concerns. Dr. Katz is extremely caring, treats my kitten like her own, and overall you can tell she loves what she does. Not only is Dr. Katz very nice but the whole staff is as well, they are all animal lovers, they are all very knowledgeable and care about all of our fur babies.
