Great service. Went in to get one pair of glasses adjusted which we had purchased online and another pair fixed. The adjustment took only a few minutes and the repair less than an hour.

I needed to buy new contact lenses and got the website from one of my friends. On its website it says Direct Billing for Vision Care Insurance. I booked an eye exam online and called the store beforehand and was confirmed the 20% discount for contact lenses purchase I got from the website could be used in the store too. However, when I finished the eye exam today, I was told there was NO Direct Billing, Neither could I use the 20% discount for the in-store purchase. Therefore, I had to make full payment for the eye exam using my credit card and needed to claim manually later. One lady helped me place an online order for two boxes of contact lenses and assured me it won’t take too long for the package to come. My eyes could not work normally after the eye drop used for the exam, so I didn’t notice on the computer screen there was an extra $9.99 handling fee on my order until I was back home. It took me 20 minutes on the phone talking to the customer service figuring out what this fee was about (actually an insurance that I don’t need) and finally got a refund of $9.99. I was not feeling good though, because the lady on the phone tried to persuade me even if I bought the contact lenses in the store, I still need to pay for the handling. Luckily I have the common sense and refused to take her words. Well, I was hoping to get new contact lenses today after the exam, now I have to wait for one week or two even though they have plenty of them in the store. Plus I believe they should revise their website or their staff’s training because I have seen and heard too many contradictions.
The manager reached out to me later today and explained that the direct billing was currently unavailable because of IT issues. She agreed that it was inconvenient to customers that the $20 credit for finishing the eye exam could only be used for online purchases and customers should be informed of the handling insurance before placing the order. She gave me a $20 credit for future purchase. I appreciated her prompt reaching out and wished they could solve the IT issues soon.

I am usually never one to waste my time writing negative reviews, and especially never one to waste another person's time by making them read such reviews that ultimately end up helping no one. But it seems today is the exception. The sheer incompetency of this location has utterly baffled me, especially when so many other people had good experiences. The people here apparently cannot order the right contact lenses even when they have the lens boxes physically sitting right in front of their noses. I have 2 different types of high-prescription lenses, one for each eye, and the box is very clearly marked with the different type of lens on the front. Not only that, but they managed to get the prescription wrong as well (everything that is clearly marked on the box). You may say it's my fault for trusting the employees of a prescription wear company to be able to read and therefore not checking the receipt myself on the spot. When I called them to inform them of this mistake, she somehow kept hearing "astigmatism lens" as "multifocal lens" no matter how many times I corrected her. In any case, the things I need plastered onto my eyeballs that allow me to function throughout the day won't be getting to me any quicker than before; furthermore, I now have to make extra time that I don't have this week to sit through an hour of traffic each way just to receive my refund for a mistake that could have been avoided had they simply took their time to read. It may well be worth it to just brave the cesspool that is downtown traffic just to use the Robson location, instead.

I’m usually quite indecisive and walked into Clearly as my first stop to look for glasses. Majid greeted me and was very kind as he listened to my preferences and guided me with his expertise. My glasses arrived today and are exactly what I wanted! With Majid’s help I found the perfect glasses in under 20 minutes! It’s great to see people going above and beyond for customer service

I don’t usually do reviews, but this one I think is necessary to show my disappointment. The optometrist was amazing! Great job and very knowledgeable! The cashier… amazing, very proactive and helpful. Loved. After pass through those two we went to a seller to find the best eye glasses. I think his name was David or Daniel. I don’t remember, he seemed to be upset with something… I was looking for the whole different models and he was always showing me the ones that was expensive and not what I was asking for. He was getting upset and left me behind (at that point I liked). I chose one of the frames that I wanted and I needed one more, so he got more excited and showed me another expensive that this time I liked. He ordered the glasses online, and online didn’t have the color that I choose, so he assured me that I’ll get the color that I want that’s is no problem. Also, I asked how long is going to take to get, he told me that one week. In short terms, I got today my glasses, 20 days after my order, also received the glasses with different color… now I have a $450 eye glasses that is not ok for me and also I can’t return because I need very bad, if I knew it that will be that way I should go to another location and order from there where people will treat me better and with more care. Very disappointed.

If you try to save some money go away of kitsilano store, Unfortunately my experience to contact store for questions about my order was terrible, they never answer or call me back, 10 days delivery or pick up at the store wasn't thru, I have to call costumer service and they told me (store doesn't even answer calls for them)

Was very impressed by the team specially Majid at Clearly Kitsilano. Their willingness to help you find your perfect glasses, their patience and expertise is unmatched. Though being very specific and particular, Majid spent over two hours making sure I find my perfect pair with a big smile throughout the entire time. I must have tried 70+ frames and he made me feel extremely comfortable and told me to take my time even if it took hours even though they were quite busy. Best CUSTOMER SERVICE bar none, he was caring, patient, kind and extremely eager to help. I can’t recommend him enough and would like to thank him and the team for taking such great care of me.

My glasses do need some adjustment which I will be going in to do very soon. Always looking forward to my visit to this location.

Riley was great to deal with very patient and attentive. My wife and I both got our eyes checked and ordered glasses. When glasses arrived the prescriptions were off for both of us. Do not like the idea of taking our photos to determine sight line or whatever it’s called to get them replaced. Will see how that goes.

Just have to pop in and leave an absolutely glowing review for Mo, who saved my entire weekend by repairing my broken glasses in short notice.

Took my glasses on his break none the less, repaired the rivets and came back to them literally good as new. Ended up adjusting my frames along with my partner's as well. All on his request, not ours.

Absolutely amazing and straight up THANK YOU for saving my butt. Go-to place for my glasses from now on.

Cannot express how grateful I am for the exceptional customer service I received while shopping for glasses for my 4 year old and then unexpectedly, for myself.  Huge thank you to Selena, who was very patient, extremely helpful with frame selection and so great with my daughter (getting her something to draw on while I was looking for my frames and even dancing to my little one singing in the store).  It wasn't even my intention to get glasses for myself but I'd been wanting a pair with blue light protection for a while and can honestly say I only had the energy and time to look for myself because of the amazing help Selena offered.  I fully expected to leave the store exhausted after just finding a pair for my daughter!  We picked them both up on the weekend and are very happy with our new glasses!  Alison helped with fitting us both and again, she was great with my daughter and her patience was so appreciated.  It is obvious that quality customer service is in the culture of this store.  Thank you so very much Selena and Alison!  A & K

I told an employee that I wanted more info on their blue light blocking lenses than what was available on their webpage. I asked her what percentage of blue light their lenses blocked. She pulled up the webpage and told me that that info wasn't on the page. I felt like saying 'no kidding, that's why I'm asking you my question'.

Then I asked her if she could tell me the last time that they had a frame in stock that I had previously bought that they were currently sold out of and was there some way that she could find out the likelihood of them getting the same frame in stock in the future or had it been discontinued. She searched for them on the webpage and told me they were sold out. Again, I felt like saying 'no kidding, that's why I'm asking you my question'.

In both instances, she made me feel like she wasn't listening to me and/or couldn't be bothered to find out the answers.

HOWEVER, another employee, Alyson, overheard all of this and went and asked the optometrist, Mo, to help me with my blue light question. Then Alyson found the frames I wanted. Apparently since they only had 5 in stock they didn't post them on the website. I was thrilled!

If you go to Clearly Kits, ask for Alyson.she rocks!

Unfortunately, Clearly has bought into the fake pandemicc. You have to give them your info because they are doing contact tracing, have your temperature taken and they won't accept cash. I left.

People please do your research (not via MSM). There is no pandemicc and our rights and privacy rights are getting chiseled away. Look into deaths & suicides from lockdown.

I went in to get my frames adjusted and was helped by Assem. She was very friendly, patient and helpful. She made sure my frames were adjusted perfectly, and gave me tips on anti fog products, and they fit great now! Would recommend this location, very pleasant staff and great customer service.

This is a great place to shop for contact lenses and eyeglasses of any kind. Took my prescription to get a pair of new glasses. Was very happy to see that they take great care to keep everyone safe during these COVID-19 times.
Mo helped me to choose a pair of frames and helped with the lens selection. He was very professional and knowledgeable. On top of his great service I was able to take advantage of their sale for cyber Monday and received a great deal. If you are in the market for a pair of glasses or contacts I would highly recommend this place.

The place is tiny and it was jam packed at 6pm on a Saturday. We made an appointment for 6pm and were expecting safe distancing since their website mentions 30 minute slots for eye glass purchases.
So having an appointment did not make any sense to us!

We had nobody to help us in the first 20 minutes coz they were busy assisting other customers. We anyways knew what we wanted from the website, just needed someone to get them out for us.
It was a waste of time and effort of trying to make an appointment and plan our day.

Anyways, once someone got to us, I tried the glasses and we were out within 10 minutes.

If you know what you want, and just want to try the physical glasses. It should be easier and faster.

Decided it is time to change my glasses since I felt my vision got dropped by a bit. I choose Clearly Kitsilano because they have good selection of frames there and few ongoing promotions. The service I got there was outstanding. I would like to express my gratitude to Allison at the clinic. First of all, she described all the procedures that have to be done during eye exam, so i was aware what to expect. Secondly, she have done an amazing job to make me comfortable to go through each procedure by correcting my chin and asking me questions. After I got my prescription, an eye consultant Assem took me over to show me the collection of frames and helped me to choose my perfect glasses. She did a really good job taking care of me, giving an opportunity to try quite a few different glasses so i could find my perfect fit. Besides, she did above and beyond to make sure I also got the right type of lenses. With the ongoing promotions there, I ended up buying two pairs of glasses. One pair was with transition lenses for driving a car under the sun and another one was just with a durable lenses for the office. Overall, I had a superb experience, thanks to Allison and Assem.

Affordable options, great customer service. Assem, especially, was SO helpful and patient (it took me 1.5+ hours to decide on my glasses!). She graciously selected frames for me to try, offered her perspective, and supported me with checkout to ensure all the information was correct and that I got the best price. Came in today as a walk in to buy another pair of glasses. Was told when I was here my last eye exam wasn't actually done by a real eye doctor. They let me buy glasses still to get their sale and then got me in for a real eye exam and update my prescription. Got me in right away and also let me browse for as long as I want to look at glasses. Amazing place, amazing customer service, answer all your questions, dont rush you, and make sure you don't leave until you know all the information you need to know. Highly reccomend!

How to shop for glasses safely in the time of COVID? Try Clearly Kits. Appointments are booked, Social distancing encouraged with signs and stickers, staff continuously cleaning glasses and equipment like computers, COVID screener questions prior to entering store. Had Nikaia help me pick out glasses and it was all completed under 15mins! Helpful, knowledgeable and efficient. Excellent customer service.

I stopped in on my way home last week for some new frames and booked an eye exam for later in the week. The staff were inviting and friendly, their COVID policies are great and keep you safe. They will work hard to make sure you get the best product and the best deal:)

Their frame selection is pretty great and they have numerous client stations, everything is done online with you. On their website you can virtually try on frames which is pretty handy if you can’t make it in to the store.

My eye exam with Dr. Badyal was thorough and my pre-test screening was easy. They were fast, efficient and most importantly - they listen to you. Great conversation and a lot of laughs, I will definitely go back.
