Great hike! It’s nice and chilly in the morning due to all the tree cover and the trails are very clean. It seems great for a camping trip but can also just be a short walk with a view of the falls. Definitely recommend:)

Well marked paths and good water access at certain points. Very pretty here and a good workout if you want it to be.

Lovely place to walk/run, with well kept paths and bridges over the creek. Canopy keeps the area well shaded in summer.

Great place! Surrounded by new developments and subdivisions. Also saw few guys smoking and vaping.

Great hike through the park. The water rushing down and over the rocks made for a nice experience and footage. Wasn’t over crowded.

Kanaka Creek Cliff Falls is one of the many beautiful woodland and Provincial park walks we residents of, and visitors to, Maple Ridge District are blessed with any time of the year. The falls and creek are quietly beautiful during the summer when the lower water levels reveal the wonderful shapes and holes in the water worn rocks and boulders.
In the autumn, the vine maples and other deciduous shrubs and trees don their coats of scarlet and gold. The kids have a lovely time crunching through the fallen leaves along the paths. In winter if we're lucky enough to get cold, clear, weather, the ice on the falls and river rocks is enchanting.
Spring brings the many greens of new growth, bird song, the craiking of nesting ravens, the scent of mosses and the sight of a marvellous array of mushrooms and fungi growing on the decaying logs and trees.
Any time is a great time to enjoy Kanaka Creek Falls.

Nice easy walk. Little up hill and downhill. Losts of mosquitoes during the summer, personally, they are the worst! Anyways, the falls are very nice. Enjoyed it to much that I forgot to take a good photo (:

Compact. Easy trails. Nice bridges. Access to the river at some parts. Nice clearings for picnics with tables and such. Hatchery was closed when we went.

A beautiful park for a walk any time of the year. Ample parking in the shoulder season, well maintained trails, and washroom (outhouse style) available. Reasonably steep hills leading to the ravine on either side and kids/pets should be watched closely.

Nice short hike. You Cando like a loop and visit the fisheries around there. There few parking lots to choose from.

Great place to explore with kids. The water falls were tricky to see, but so many bridges, creek spots to play and the fish hatchery. There is also a playground and ball diamonds on the cliff falls parking side.

Cliff park is the best! I can't get enough of that place. Even when it's rainy it's beautiful there.

Great location for a great walk. Get to see some great geology such as a canyon. There are also 50 million year old leaf fossils that can be found. Very clean park and great for trail running.

Love this park, can usually get it to yourself on week days. A couple winding trails of all different lengths for all to enjoy. Dog friendly

Really nice set of trails. Well maintained, but not suitable for anyone with mobility issues as (being a canyon and all) there are many stairs and steep climbs near the creek.
There are a number of bridges and places access to the creek. Some quiet areas off to the side to sit a while. A nice little family picnic area with fidelity and clean but basic washrooms.
School groups come here often to visit the fish hatchery. Lots of dog walkers and families out for the day when the weather is good.

Awesome and beautiful walk, you can definitely do this with kids - I do not recommend strollers, as there are a few sets of stairs that make it hard to navigate with them. But a child in a carrier is feasible and fun! The creek was fun to walk through and discover all the little water falls. We took a walk with 9 kids and 4 parents and had a blast! Myself and the kids all felt safe and had a great time!
