I reserved a wheelchair accessible cab a week ago for a trip out and back a few hours later. The first cab showed up 5 minutes early. The driver loaded my mother into the car. Strapped her in safely and solidly. Arrived at destination and unloaded her.he was very professional!
A few hours later I got a call from the evening driver letting me know he was on his way. I asked for 15 extra minutes and it was not a problem. A different driver, loaded my mother and unloaded her.very professional again! Will use them again!

I booked more than 24 hours in advance for a wheelchair accessible taxi to take me to an important medically related appointment at 3: 00 on a Tuesday. I was assured that the taxi would be there. I allowed 15 minutes extra just to be certain or for heavy traffic. Turns out that when I called at 2: 15 the cab was going to be 15 mins late. When I called 20 minutes later they had no idea how long the taxi would take to arrive to pick me up. At 2: 45 I cancelled my 3PM appointment as it takes 30 minutes under ideal conditions to travel. I phones Pacific Cabs and told them that they caused me a lot of stress, I had to reschedule and will NEVER use their taxi company again. They have no idea about what it means to make a commitment or a promise. They'll tell you what they think you will want to hear. Terrible company and despicable management.

I’ve used Pacific Cabs many many times. They are always prompt and polite. The service has always been excellent. I would certainly encourage anyone to give this company a try - I’m sure you’ll be pleased.

Ok. I would like to give 5 stars for the person who picked up the phone. He was very kind.
One star for the taxi driver tho.
Before I got into the taxi, the driver already started his Meters. I didnt mind that much but then he started asking the questions if Im going to other airport. I wrote it down where I was heading to, when I made a reservation online. I felt like he was trying to hold the time so he can make more money out of it. My destination was YVR domestic and he said that he doesnt know where that is. I coulda drive my car and park just near by instead of taking a taxi if I knew that I had to walk all the way at the airport.

Have been out on account with them for wcb services and they make me miss multiple appointments, I call hours in advance only to have the cab not show up. When I call to see what the deal is I’m told they would be another 25 mins. I have missed to crucial appointments because of this now. If you have time sensitive things that need to be done call another cab company.

If I could do this review and give a negative star rating I would! My 93 year old mother is in a care facility in Surrey and we had booked a wheelchair accessible cab with Pacific Cabs through the care facility several days in advance. The cab was scheduled to arrive at 11am and did not show on time. My family waited with our mother at the care facility and called the cab company at 11: 15am to find out when it would be arriving. The Dispatcher said within 5-10 minutes and by 11: 30am, they still had not shown up. After multiple calls with their Dispatcher and constantly being told 5-10 minutes arrival time, it was now 12: 40pm and still no cab had arrived, 1hr 40mins late! My family opted to get our mother into one of our vehicles, as we needed to get her to a location. Doing this was not an easy task, as she is recovering from major surgery and was the reason why she needed to be in a wheel chair! It compromised her health and comfort, all due to Pacific Cabs not honouring a reservation. We were told by the care facility that the cab finally arrived shortly after 1pm!
When my family asked to speak with the Manager, they were told his name was "Bob" and he was unable to take a call. When asked the Manager's last name they again said "Bob". My brother who was speaking with them reiterated that he was just told the Manager's name is "Bob Bob". It was abundantly clear the Dispatcher was jerking my brother around and that they were not letting his complaint go through to the Manager.

Our advice is to avoid using this company, as I have read some other reviews that describe similar scenarios of not showing up on time for a reserved cab appointment. Terrible "service" and completely unreliable in our opinion!

Received fabulous service for a pre-booked early morning ride to the airport from South Surrey. Driver arrived early, rang the bell as requested and was polite and helpful. Fare was half of what uber quoted and service was great.

The cab was pre-booked for the airport at 7: 20am, however the cab arrived at 7: 42am.

Airport bookings should be prioritized in the schedule.

Among the legendary incidents of poor taxi service in Surrey our family experience on Sunday tops the list. My wife had made reservations with Pacific Cabs for a handicapped taxi for a 10: 30 a.m. Pickup with her wheelchair-bound father while I waited at a local restaurant to have our Father’s Day brunch. As the taxi failed to show up, she followed up and was assured to wait for the taxi to arrive shortly. My wife waited with her father in his wheelchair while I occupied a prime table during peak time at the restaurant. We all just waited and waited…

Eventually, my wife was assured the taxi would be there in five minutes, but it did not show up. My wife called again and the dispatcher, who barely spoke English, said the taxi was in Vancouver. Shortly after 12 noon we abandoned our waiting for the taxi, disappointed we could not celebrate the day as intended, and just met in a coffee shop. Clearly, we would have preferred an honest massage from the dispatcher that a handicapped taxi was not available. I asked my wife not to cancel the taxi just to see when it might arrive. The taxi never showed up at my father-in-law’s care residence.

Perhaps most interestingly, the story has a surprising twist. Around 1: 30 pm, four hours after our taxi reservation was confirmed, my wife received an angry call from a woman at Pacific Cabs chastising her for making two taxi reservations. My wife explained the first reservation was for a 10: 45 am pickup which never showed up, and the second for a 12: 30 pm return trip. The woman paused her reprimand and did apologize.

Perhaps this standard of service is the best people confined to wheelchairs can expect. Alternately, the question needs to be asked how a taxi company with such neglect for handicapped people, and no sense of service, can retain its license and stay in business?

I called for a taxi at 1Pm today and I was told 30-45 minutes. It's now 4: 13 pm and I'm still waiting! I have called back 4 times and keep getting told just a little while longer. This is not professional service at all. You can definitely do better with another company.

Not worth it wish uber goes to white rock. This driver not only up charges me but rushes me out. Only for the guy that want his taxi, I told him I felt unsafe as he was looking into the cab and into my wallet clearly I had money. Freaked me out. They only care about sales. Not only this they are charging my fiance more then expected. I had to wait in the taxi while my man got the income. HE LEFT THE MEETER GOING. Totally felt over charged and taken advantage of. Never book with them.

Not reliable and did show up. I book them 2 hours ago to go to the Airport but when they Suppose to show up they were not here and call them they said the don't have any cab for me.which the c Could have told me earlier. So I end up late on my Flight.

Do not trust this cab company if you have an important appt or family member that needs reliable service, even if booking ahead. The operators at this company are literally either wasted at work or high on drugs. I can think of no other explanation.

I've had an account with these people since 2005. They've received a lot of money from me, but still don't see repeat customers as valuable.
Three major issues:
1) Call and expect to wait on average 30min on-hold for a dispatcher to answer.
2) Their Online Booking on their website errors out. Often. Which negates the "feature" they advertise while on-hold.
3) Their app is just as clunky and unreliable as their Online Booking.
4) Entitlement - Pacific Cabs has lobbied against Uber and Lyft with claims that the taxi service is superior in all ways despite not being able to maintain a rating of more than 20%, nor meet demand for customers.

FIRST Phoned at 5: 58pm its 7: 01pm and i have not been picked up or had a call back i’ve made several calls and been told the driver may have picked up another customer when i called first.and have been waiting over a hour.he had to re place my pick up location i’ve seen taxis drive by 3-4 times and nothing i don’t know how they make money at this rate

Was not impressed with the driver or the service. He did not help my 86 year old associate loading her walker or groceries or helping her to unload her walker & groceries. On top of that he took her to a different address then what she told him which cost her 5$ more. When asked for his card & cab number he refused to give it. I'd give this a rating of minus 10 if it was possible.

They are good every time I have called them thay are quick to pick us up and thay don't drive slow or slow down to yellow lights thay get me to where I have to go as fast as they can so I definitely will be using them again

My son flew into Vancouver from overseas recently, and required a long distance taxi ride from the airport. The manager was so helpful arranging this. I thought it would be a stressful experience, as we live in New Zealand, but he was so professional, friendly and helpful. We had to postpone the trip, and he was very easy going about it - so it really put my mind at rest. Eventually when my son arrived, he kept me posted on the driver who was picking him up, gave me regular updates, and followed up to make sure everything went ok. He was a life saver at such a stressful time - AND they were the least expensive. (my son said the driver was very nice - an added bonus) An all round win. I can't thank them enough.

These cab drivers need to know the word patience. When coming to a retirement community/long term care, it takes a while to get someone moving. This particular cab driver was very rude to the companion who was escorting the elderly resident. You can not rush someone, and don't just leave after three minutes waiting while they are walking out the door, just put on the fare. This happens too often, or they just don't show up. Am requesting Uber from now on.

Disgusting. They are horrible at finding your location, After an hour of waiting I finally had one cab, but The driver started and kept going with asking me personal questions it’s a mess.
They didn’t even offer me single discount. Do anything else but don’t call these people for a cab. Specially if u r a woman and alone.
If I could put zero stars I would have done it.

We pre-ordered a cab using the app. Driver was late so we called dispatch. They didn't really seem to care and said someone would call us when they arrived. They were 35 mins late. Driver was driving rather erratically, super close to the middle solid line in the road. Super hot, no A/C offered, just alllll the windows open. Terrible customer service. Thanks goodness Uber is in Langley. We'll never use Pacific Cabs again.

Good experience. Was much more expensive than usual (id imagine because of covid) but cab driver came on time, dropped us off safely and kept in contact with us for when we needed picking up. Good service, would call them again.

Called to make sure I got home safe after Super bowl, dispatcher mentioned it would be awhile. Five minutes later driver Aman Brar called me and said he was outside. I already paid my bill so I rushed out but he wasn't there. Called him right away didnt answer, garbage service, we need Uber in South Surrey ASAP.

Worst experience waiting outside in the cold for 2 hours making calls to incredibly discourteous and rude dispatchers who would only say it would be 15 min every time even though the cab never came. Called an aldergrove company who were there in 20 min. Cant wait for UBER or LYFT so we never have to deal with some of these god awful can companies again

This company is terrible in many ways. The drivers don't wear seatbelts, I've had to get out of a cab because the guy had clearly been drinking and was swerving like crazy, they sometimes don't show, they always let someone else steal your cab (don't use names properly), they take the long ways and then try to tell you it saved time from avoiding traffic (which is total BS when it was a weekday at midnight and their rates are mostly determined by kilometers travelled anyway, they've tried to do this to me several times). They also always talk on the phone during the ride, I've been on hold for 45 minutes before they even took my call, and they also have a bad habit of having no idea at all where they are going and expect you to direct them. All around a horrible company, who don't care at all about their customers. Clover Cabs and Pacific Cabs are the same company, and it's very unfortunate that we don't have another taxi service in langley/cloverdale. We need Uber BAD.

I couldve bussed faster AND saved $40. Terrible taxi company only use as a last resort. Edit: i wrote this after waiting an hour and ive waited another hour since then and my cab is still nowhere in sight. Useless company. Edit 2: Now i couldve walked to my destination faster and saved money. I dont think this company could get anyworse, i am now 2 hours late to work.

Called for a cab and it didn't come. Wasn't even asked for my name when I first called. Called back to make sure I didn't miss it and was told there was no request made for me at my address. Suggested another cab company and kind of rudely hung up on. Not very good customer service for a customer service industry.

Would only recommend if you weren't in a rush and don't have somewhere to be in a timely fashion. I pre-ordered a cab to take me from Langley to Vancouver Airport and they showed up 40 mins late and I ended up missing my flight. Kind of disappointing considering how much you end up paying for a trip that long. BC needs Uber.

We used this service 4 nights a week for the past 6 months. We will never use it again. RACIST driver, rude management. After using cabs regularly which they HAVE a record of my husband who happens to be black was asked to pay up front before the cab would start driving. Apparently this is protocol but it’s obvious the driver looked at my husband and made a judgement call based solely on his appearance. I don’t care if this is ‘protocol’, this type of ignorant cabbie behaviour is not ok. My husband was extremely confused and offended. How can you even ask someone to pay upfront when you don’t know what the fare is going to be? !? I can guarantee this would NEVER and has never happened to me as a white woman and as a result this company will not get another penny of my money. Disgusting

When I call clover cabs, they all sound angry. I once called and asked “can I have a taxi ready-“ then someone hung up and said “no” or something like that.other then that the taxi people are way better and happier. Guess I’ll be still riding with them

Have never had such bad service with a cab company. I got into an accident and have been taking a cab for a over a month now to work or to the bus exchange and every single time it has been clover cabs they have been 100% late, I have missed the bus that comes every hour and now have received 2 write ups from work. I even call 45 mins in advanced to pre call. And ask for 10 minutes earlier then the other cabs to ensure I’m not late. Nom the less they still don’t show up until about 20 mins later. This isn’t even a 50/50 chance. It’s 100% of the time. Insanely disappointing.

Pacific Cabs rocks! I have used them many times including pre-booking and always had on time pleasant service. Today I had a scheduled important appointment at Peace Arch Hospital so when the snow started, I called at 9am to pre-book for 11: 45am. The cab showed up at my door at precisely 11: 45am! I also received just seconds before the cab arrived, a call with a message that my cab was arriving shortly. After my appointment, with the snow road conditions getting worse by the minute, I called for a cab. I was told about it would be about an hour wait & I was not surprised considering the road conditions & the demand under such conditions for cabs. My cab arrived in 20 minutes. The driver was very pleasant & anxious to get back for the others waiting at the hospital for cabs. I have always had good service from Pacific Cabs. Thanks again you hard working drivers especially under difficult road conditions.

I usually don’t do this but for what the pacific can taxi driver did to me this morning. I started using this cab services last week because my car is faulty and each day last week I had to call them to pick myself and my daughter to drop her off at school, we got to school late. On each day, I had to call them back 2 to 3 times to ask where the cab is. Yesterday I called around8: 07 and I waited till 8: 30 and no cab, I had to walk my daughter to school under the rain, we were both soaked under the rain and I kept calling them and it kept going into the answering machine, my daughter got to school late and wet. Today I called again and as usual the cab didn’t show up, I decided to call another cab that got to my place before the pacific cab, their cab guy was so rude, he was practically going to hit me for calling another taxi. He called me all sorts of names

What a joke this place is. I called this cab company because the beige carpet I have from a friend of mine (to put in my basment) is obviously difficult and heavy to carry. The cab driver shows up. Pulls into the parking lot 30 feet before the spot on the sidewalk that im standing on. So I start walking over to him with it over my shoulder. He rolls down the window with the car still rolling and says " im not f***ing taking that. Then proceeds to drive away. I call the dispatcher to complain and find out why thw hell this guy drove off like that, only to discover that he is one of the owners of this company and called in to say dont send another car to come and pick me up. No other explination. I've never had any issues with a cab company before. Either on their end nor caused any myself (fare payment etc.) Honestly I'd recommend take any other cab company than this one. They clearly don't deserve the business.

If it was possible to give 0 stars I would. I live in White Rock where Pacific Cabs is literally the only cab company in the city. I have no other options. I’ve used Pacific Cabs at least 2 times a week for the last 3 months and every single time I’ve had to use them has been a horrid experience.

Firstly, don’t even bother trying to book a cab in advance because it doesn’t actually go through their system until 5 minutes before the time you scheduled for pick up. So if it’s a really busy time of day and you book your cab in advance to get some where on time, you’ll still probably be an hour late or more since they don’t allocate someone for your booking when you do it.

Second of all, if by some miracle you book in advance and they actually book it on time, the driver shows up 10 minutes early and calls you three times to let you know he’s outside.

Third, no one speaks coherent English so good luck getting through to them on the phone or in the car.

Fourth, my drive way is a little strange in that there are 4 other houses also connected to it. Nearly EVERY time I've booked a cab to go home, they try to drop me off all the way at the end of my driveway instead of taking two minutes to drive down and drop me off properly. EVEN IN THE POURING RAIN.

I’ve had multiple times where a driver would not let me put my own card into the card reader. For some reason they are all insistent on doing it themselves even though there is no reason for my card to ever have to leave my hands. They try to tell you that tap doesn’t work on their machines when it does. I’ve had 3 drives where the driver tried to get me to pay cash instead of card and even said “oh I only charge you $10 instead of $20 if you pay cash”.

This entire company is the worst one I’ve ever had the displeasure of using and the worst part of the whole thing is that there’s nothing I can do about it because they are the only one in my city. They have a complete monopoly and they are horrible.

Both myself and my roommate use this company as opposed to running a vehicle and have found it to be, by and large, excellent. While no one company is perfect, I have found their drivers to be well versed in the huge amount of geography and traffic routes that compose the Surrey/Langley/White Rock/Aldergrove areas. There are several drivers I am quite happy to see, and even new drivers are courteous and not afraid to ask for clarification if they are unsure about a destination. I would not hesitate to recommend Pacific Cabs and do so out of a sense of confidence in their service levels and experience. You can always find a bad experience when dealing with any service company, but even when that has happened the company has dealt with it competently and quickly. It's a shame so many reviews seem to be from Uber proponents. It does a dis-service to a safe, courteous and well established company that is well regulated and supervised.

They are the best reason why we need Uber. Ordered a cab to take us to the Airport 3 1/2 hours in advance. They said they would have a car there at 8: 30 - our scheduled departure. At 8: 45 pm i called and asked where the cab was - "we are a scheduled priority" I am told. I asked what that meant and did not get an explanation. I asked when I could expect a pick up - could not tell me. I asked if they would get me a taxi in time to make my flight - they would not guarantee it. What a joke of a company. They advertise airport service but they forget to tell you that doesnt mean they will get you there before your flight. Get Uber here quickly.
