This clinic and Dr. Om are hands down the best clinic we have ever been to.
I have owned animals my entire life.
We have used almost every clinic in Surrey and Delta, living here for many yrs until we came across Dr. Om and this clinic.
We don't go anywhere else.
Wish we found him years ago!
Since we have, they have been nothing but caring to our furry family and Human family.
They will go out of their way to help anyway they can.
Amber is really such a lovely person.
We always love chatting with her.

I have gone to multiple vet clinics, after going here i will never go anywhere else. The dr is absolutely incredible. He has a huge passion for animals and every staff member i have met is the same. Everyone here is so kind and compassionate. I highly recommend!

DONT GO HERE! Dr Oum (Om? I’m not sure) is the most unprofessional vet I’ve ever seen. Took my small dog in for bloodwork today- which she’s had before along with shots. First the appointment is pushed back 1/2 an hour- which is fine. The vet comes out and asks with 3 customers waiting to be seen ‘’do I have time to go to the bank? ’’ to which the
receptionist says no.

Im LIVID about the treatment of my dog. He took me into the exam room, said he just needed to shave some of my dogs hair first and carried her away.
From the room I could hear the shaver- and afterwards for a few minutes my dog whimpering horribly in pain.
Then the Vet and a lady bring her back to the exam room literally laughing and smiling saying they couldn’t accomplish getting her bloodwork, and that it’ll be fine to do her surgery without it.
My dog was scrambling to get in my arms, so so terrified.

I left in shock. Can’t believe the receptionist had a tone too after I said that it’s fine (that I don’t schedule her surgery) and that Im just gonna go somewhere else.

We love this hospital my parents have taken our family dog here who recently passed away. The vet we see takes care of all our kitty cats too we have two and my parents have one. I am so thankful for the care and fairness all around to the fur patients. I miss our family dog so much. Thank you Cloverdale animal hospital

Dr Om is the definitely the top doctor in all of BC! Never in my life have a met more dedicated and knowledgable vet.

Dr om and his team are very compassionate and kind. Best part of the whole team is that they don’t scare you or create panic unnecessarily in regards to your pooch’s health.
Very reasonable, clean facility. They clean examination room after each client.

We were recommended here not by 1 but 3 different people. Dr. Om is phenomenal. He is a true animal lover & you can see his love for it too. We are blessed to know him. [Both 4 paws agree]. I feel it is very important to leave this review for Dr Om. Our golden retriever Gracie has been coming to DR Om since she was a baby! She is now 5 and became very sick with pylometriosis. He literally saved her life, it was a scary time for Gracie and I. She had IV antibiotics daily. He cares so much, and even called me every night to make sure she was ok! I would not trust anyone else with my baby girl! The love of my life! His whole staff is just amazing especially Amber who talked me through my anxiety daily. Such beautiful kind people, and a blessing to the community.

What absolute gems! The staff are so sweet and there's great energy. I was anxious bringing my pup in as the last time I brought a pup to the vet it wasn't a great outcome. This time however, I felt so at ease and appreciated how well Timber was treated. I will definitely make this our regular clinic now as others we've been to haven't resulted in great experiences. Great staff. Been coming to Dr Ohm for years with my diabetic cat. Apparently 17 is old for a cat with diabetes but Dr Ohm makes me feel like I'm a good cat papa!

Great service, and friendly staff at Cloverdale Animal Hospital. I found reasonable pricing. I had my doggy’s first check up here. The vet was helpful and I got him vaccinated. The staff where knowledgeable and able to answer any questions and/or concerns I had.

This is my go to animal hospital, the staff and Dr. O are the sweetest and nicest people, they’re very busy, but are always able to make time for people who walk in with their animals. My dog had a litter of puppies for the first time and it was a lot of work and scary as I didn’t know if I was doing everything right, and that’s when the staff and Dr. O helped out a lot. They were very understanding when it came to being slightly late to an appointment especially with 11 puppies. Dr. O gives the best advice and is always very straightforward, he’s gentle and gives great recommendations. I’ve recommended him to everyone who has bought a puppy and they also come to him! Pricing is very reasonable, the place is very clean and nice, and there’s always a lot of people around, but they’re all very nice and everyone is always welcoming. Recently I had come alone with my 2 puppies and only one was on leash and the staff helped me with taking one back to the car and Dr. O made sure that I wasn’t alone. Dr. O remembers everyone who comes in even if it’s been a while. I would totally recommend everyone to come here as you will always get the service you need and your animal will be in good hands.

Booked a phone appointment for euthanasia. Showed up for the appointment and was told that the person who booked the appointment made a mistake as the doctor does not start until later. This caused a lot of additional stress on a very stressful drive and day already. I found another clinic that accommodated the euthanasia right away.

Can't say I'm overly impressed by this clinic. Dr. O was a recommendation by my breeder strictly for puppy vaccinations. I have been to this clinic 3 times, and the 3rd time was the final straw.

The staff are not very warm, the clinic does not have an organized feel. The professionalism lacks in my opinion. I do question the sanitization of this clinic and how clean the treatment rooms are.

1. I went for a second round of vaccines.
2. My puppy got an eye infection a few weeks later so I went back because it’s in close proximity to our home. I was not impressed by Dr. O's methods. He speaks quickly and is so rushed I can barely get a word in before he leaves the room. I don't think my visits are even 5-10 minutes long. I feel he is rather rough with handling my 3.5 month old puppy and it's so important to take time with animals to make sure the experience they are having at a vet's office is positive. He was getting flustered when my puppy wouldn’t keep his head still, and did also not wear gloves when working around his eyes and face. He also very suddenly jabbed a needle into my puppies lumbar region and when it came out the needle was bent…

I had to clarify with the front desk about the instructions of the medication I was sent home with. I don't feel that this clinic tries to upsell you and I think it's reasonably affordable, however I don't leave with a sense of trust.

3. I came back for a final round of vaccines. The visit was short- all 3 needles were placed in the base of the neck. When I went to pay I was told my puppy had all his shots AND received the Rabies vaccine.
I was advised by my breeder early on to wait until my current 4 month old dane was older and larger as this vaccine can have harsh reactions with young puppies. Unfortunately this is now too late as the vaccine cannot be undone. Not only that, it was given in the neck when it is supposed to be shot in the loin- alone from other vaccines so you know directly if it's correlated with any reactions.
It is unbelievable to me that in at least at this clinic, Consent does not exist. I was not informed of any of the procedures ever at this clinic, I never had the opportunity to ask questions prior or asked if the treatment plan had my OK before proceeding. I waited in the waiting room, the vet would do his procedure and leave and I would pay for whatever treatment was done.

I feel completely at loss of control and helpless for my dog. I did not consent to having the rabies vaccine and someone should have clarified prior to me receiving it. If this was with a person, this would be malpractice, negligence and possible risk of harm. Unbelievable.

As someone in healthcare, without the patients consent you may not proceed with treatment. This is a perfect example of why clarifying before treating is SO IMPORTANT. I don't understand why Doctors feel the need to be so rushed and short when the essence of your job is to help either humans or animals. *Patient- Centred care* It doesn't take much time to slow down and genuinely listen to create a positive experience for everyone involved.

Needless to say I don't recommend this clinic and I will not be returning.

I have put this review off for a number of months, in late august my mom, sister and I went to Cloverdale Animal hospital to put my childhood cat down who had taken an unfortunate turn for the worse on that day, and while his appointment at our usual vet was booked a few days after we did not want him to suffer. My mom called 6-8 veterinary clinics who all said they were fully booked and after reading the reviews of Cloverdale Animal Hospital and having them confirm they were available that day we arrived at our confirmed time. An hour later we were brought into the room (our cat was not doing well at all at this point) and long after that we finally had met the vet who gave our cat the first of two of the injections incurred when putting your pet down. There was unfortunately a 20+ minute gap between the two where my sister actually went into the back to ask what was taking so long and tell them this was not okay, we were told the veterinarian was "busy with other patients" I am doing my best to make this review as short as possible and please trust that I'm leaving out many horrific details, details I hope no person endures when saying goodbye to their fur family member. I wish that my family had seen a review like this before we decided to book our apt and that is why I decided I should write one. If 0 stars were an option that is what my review would be.
