I have been with Co-operators, North Vancouver, for several years and recently had my first residential insurance claim due to a water leakage caused by frozen water pipes. From customer service to claims, I felt well taken care of, and everyone involved exceeded my expectations. When I reached out to Henry Poku-Esiri, our Co-operators insurance representative, he asked me to email him the photos and videos showing the leakage into our unit along with a history of events.
Shortly after, Harold Pan, the adjuster, called and assured me they were already working on our case. I was astounded at how fast they responded. Harold arranged for the contractors to assess the damage caused by the leakage and start the work that needed immediate attention. Our walls were very wet, and the ceiling had water stains in several places. The contractor brought the dehumidifiers on the same day. It took three days for the walls to be completely dry. Harold called or emailed me almost every day to follow up. Their contractors were also thorough with their assessments and reports. The claim was processed, and the repair will start soon. I was always afraid of dealing with the insurance company if I needed to one day, but Harold has proven me wrong. He also dealt with our strata manager, who has been a nightmare during this process. I can't say enough good things about Harold Pan! He is knowledgeable, responsive, professional, and assuring! Thank you, Harold, for making this experience as good as it gets in this situation! I recommend Co-operators to everyone with no hesitation.

Meisam at the North Vancouver location was quick and to the point. Loading up my further insurance requests took less than 5 minutes all in.

I worked with Cerensa Tylor, first on my auto insurance for all my family, and because she was so helpful I asked her to look into my home insurance. She was able to get me a better plan for the coverage that I wanted and the Co-operators were competitive on rates as well even though I had been with the other insurance agency for years and years. Cerensa was very professional and helped me answer all my questions and even made me aware of other possible savings. She followed up with me after my insurance came into effect to ensure that I was happy. The experience was so good that I decided to ask for a quote with my retail commercial insurance. She referred me to a wonderful commercial agent Parvaneh Pourriahi who was able to provide a much better plan for my retail space, again answered all my questions over the phone and helped me to switch over seamlessly. Both Cerensa and Parvaneh were so pleasant to talk to and responded quickly and professionally to all my questions and concerns, I was not just a case number to them but a human being! And they were less expensive as well:)
