Coast Capri Hotel

We went in October and it is a hotel with very friendly staff, quiet, and spacious. I loved the room, since it had a balcony overlooking the pool. Everything was very comfortable, the bed which is what regularly worries me; I slept wonderfully.

Nice experience

My family of three stayed at the Coast Capri this summer and it would have been a good stay except they denied us the free breakfast that were included in the purchase price, instead only giving us one meal. I called the front desk about it but they were pretty clear that even though there's three of us staying, it would only include one breakfast.

I brought these concerns up to the management through the internal survey, and they later contacted me and took care of my concerns, which I was quite appreciative of.

I stayed on union business. I had to check out of my room first thing in the morning as I had a meeting all day. Staff was not helpful when trying to get a late checkout. I have never had a problem when asking for a late checkout before. I also accidentally left behind an expensive memory foam pillow that helps with my neck problems. I called as soon as I realized I had left it. I was told nothing was logged by housekeeping staff. I called again later, asked to speak to the housekeeping manager, but they were not available. Talked again with the front desk about my lost pillow. They again told me nothing was logged and to call back the next day to speak to the housekeeping manager. I called the next morning but the housekeeping manager was in a meeting. I again spoke with the front desk about my lost property. They were no help at all. I again called back later in the day, was told the housekeeping manager was gone for the day. I asked if someone could please look to see if my pillow was "logged" yet. Was told someone would call me back in a couple of hours. No one called. I was near the hotel later that afternoon so I went in to ask if it had been found. It had not. So my pillow went "missing" and was not to be found. Very disappointing. Where did it go? Why have a "log" if lost items never show up in it? Was offered no compensation at all. Was treated badly I suppose because I was making a "big deal" about a pillow. It was a $50 pillow that just disappeared.

What an amazing experience, the hotel was clean and we don’t often think about how it gets done the Housekeeping staff are the ones you don’t see but are the ones who are responsible for guest experience.
Our room was super clean no dust anywhere bathroom was immaculate
This had been by far the best hotel experience i have had in a while,
The two front desk guys were amazing they helped us with information and after hours snaks hands down the best service ever not because they have to but because they want to.
I would stay here again just because of the amazing staff!

We enjoyed our stay for 4 nights. The hotel is very clean, the food was great. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Must mention the front desk gentleman Trevor, he is very nice, always saying hi and good bye everytime we walk by. Very knowledgeable on making a great stay for us. We can tell he loves his job, and he is always happy, showing on the way he takes care of his customers. Good job Trevor!

Pool area was beautiful, comfy bed, the cod was delicious and so was the dessert but the toilet paper was very cheap. The staff were very kind and the parking was very good. Only stayed overnight but I’d use this hotel again.

The first room we were in had only lukewarm water coming through the tub faucet and shower. We were immediately offered an upgraded room which although lovely had some minor damage and a tiny bit of mold in the tub surround tile grout. For such a fine Inn, there were surprisingly not a lot of extras, such as slippers or robes, and the in-room coffee station had only white sugar, aspartame, and coffee whitener which after tasting, inspired us to get ours elsewhere. We were very happy with everything else and impressed with the service and all staff. A huge plus to not only their acceptance of our large dog, a chocolate lab, but their genuine affection and warm reactions towards her.

Breakfast was a let down.not even good coffee. Horible music playing.certainly not for the customers.

Went there to see some family that was staying there and we ate at the restaurant. The worst chicken wings I’ve ever had, horrible, wasn’t even able to eat them. The green haired waitress couldn’t have been more unfriendly I don’t know what her problem was, not my problem she hates her life. Then to top it off she charges 18% gratuity because we had a large table. Never ever go there

Never had I stayed at a hotel this noisy. Throughout the whole night you can hear not only every single door opening and closing and vacuum cleaner but every word and laughter from the neighbor, from the hallway, from the lobby.

The furniture and appliances are old, out of date, and just poorly installed.

I can’t even open the curtains. My room’s “view” is the lobby entrance, with a lot of traffic, with everyone able to see me inside my room.

Room was just ok, pool was nice also, service in the restaurant on the other hand was very poor, our waitress Cindy took our order I went with top sirloin and my wife went with salmon, first I asked my steak medium rare and it came completely cooked through out, my wife's salmon was so dry she couldn't even eat it, we talked to Cindy about it and she said that is how they cook it there, then maybe you should tell customers that. For 40 dollars a plate I want it cooked to our liking not the chefs. Cindy bickered with us till we said cancel our order. She deffinetly needs to work on her people skills. When customers are paying lots of money you do what it takes to make them happy. We canceled our last night and went somewhere else. Thanks Coast Capri

Okay so like, it's all over the place.
Pool:
Restaurant service: (Erin's a sweetheart, she gets 5 stars, but the service is SLOW, probably the Kitchen, another waitress, red hair, was really rude, can't say for sure what her name was.
Food: the food is pretty mediocre.
Drinks: pretty good, the Painkiller cocktail was great.
Rooms: extremely average, definitely not worth the cost.
Note: the nachos here suck yo
Location: not in downtown, but close enough
Front desk: Leticia is SO nice and charismatic, other people were aggravatingly slow. I feel like this hotel would really benefit from hiring even one more staff member, the staff looks exhausted, and I really hope the hotel management sees this.

Me and my husband stayed in this hotel last Monday to Wednesday (August 1 to 3). The hotel is nice we liked it, the front desk associates was very nice as well. We enjoyed swimming in the pool but unfortunately we had a bad experience in the restaurant, the waitress is rude her name is Cindy. We try to talk to her nicely about our food but she answered us back in a rude manner, so we decided to leave the restaurant and went to BP to eat. We’re supposed to stayed here until the 4th but because of the bad experience we had, we decided to cancel it and moved to another hotel. We love Kelowna we come here every year but this is the first time we had a rude waitress like (Cindy). We went to BP, Earls and etc.but not a single problem.

I hope the owners of this Hotel read reviews. They should know that the lady at the desk, Letitia, has helped us out immensely. This is a person with compassion and morals. She has accommodated us and taken care of us for the last week. She knew we were here to take care of a loved one in the hospital. She is a good soul. Others could learn from her. This hotel is a great place to stay. Close to all amenities. Great pool. And mostly great staff. 5 stars for the hotel and 6 for Letitia.

For one night, I wouldn't say it was worth the price we paid. It's in a convenient location, near Orchard Park mall and close to downtown and the waterfront. The pool is outdoors and fairly nice as well. Our room was on the small side, could use a decor refresh, but the bed was comfortable and the room and the rest of the hotel was exceptionally clean and well maintained. Staff were quite nice and friendly. Updated to include: the bath towels are quite nice, larger than the usual hotel towel! Bath tub/shower combo is clearly old but decently well maintained, great water pressure. I liked that the shampoo etc were refillable bottles instead of single use stuff.

All in all, 3/5

Best value in Kelowna. Rooms are clean and staff are fantastic. Stay for a week and the hotel will give you a special rate. You need to call the hotel to get this though.

This is the worst hotel we have ever seen after stayed in more than 50 hotels. Old, dirty and no room services (stayed 4 nights). This was okey but charged us extra $250 from Mastercard without notifying. I called and told me somebody smoked in the room. Non of our family members smoked at all. After discussed with Travis Shannon from front desk, refused to refund with very bad attitude. This person is rude, unprofessional and disrespectful. The worst experience we have ever had. Stay away from this hotel. If you were already there, check your Mastercard bill carefully. I would give 0 if I could.

I usually stay at 4 star or better resorts, and was forced into this one by family so it may not be fair but I find it unacceptable that the staff was so grumpy about not wanting all used soaps for the bathroom and then rudely handing me more used soaps after requesting unused. Slept in my clothes without showering that night. Next day I spent about $60 at Safeway down the street for cleaning supplies and soaps. All good on the cost because I can use the stuff at ho e but sheesh.

Comfy flooring. Big tv. Nice shower. Happy staff. Clean. Liquor store nearby boasting Kelowna’s largest selection. Dollarama nearby. Lots of restaurants within close walking distance

Trevor at the front desk was great and upgraded us to a quieter room at rhe same price as the deal of the day. The room was clean, beds comfortable the only thing bad was the heater was noticable in the niddle of the night. As others the rooms are due lite refresh.

Had a nice 2 night stay. Staff was super friendly, especially the two ladies in the restaurant. From desk was nice to.

Had a meeting in a banquet room, food was excellent! Hard to find room though as couldn't find anyone working

appetizing and appealingly presented. The price was affordable for so special an occasion. It was quiet for easy conversation surrounded with soft lighting & smooth flowing service. All in all, a wonderful together time well spent.

The Coast Capri is an exceptional place to stay. Every time I stay here the rooms are clean and have very comfortable beds. The food and lounge service is great and you can be assured that they have the most memorable and happy front desk staff that are simply the best to deal with all round. Enjoy your stay:)

We spent a couple of nights there in October 2021. At the time of booking, we requested accommodations for our toddler. When we arrived, everything was ready and even Letitia upgraded our room to a more toddler friendly room for our convenience.

A lot of the rooms are old and rundown. Needs a bit of a refresh. There are restaurants and shopping near hotel which is nice. The front desk was quick and friendly. It did snow while there and the snow graters were loud at 5 am, which is understandable but perhaps putting guests on the quieter pool side rather parking lot side.

Nice hotel, but what made this 5 stars was the great customer service from the front desk staff. Letitia is the best!

Simply, well organized and managed, always willing to help, a little old but well kept… thumbs up!

Letitia is a rock star! Our power went out and we have to make an emegency stay as we live in Kelowna. I made a last minute reservation online, and 20 minutes later we showed up. Let just say the stress was off our shoulders immediately. Letitia is attentive and friendly, and made the stay much more than we were expecting. The room was clean and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I will recommend the Coast Capri without hesitation.

They shut the pub down at 8 on weekends.
The lady behind the bar is the rudest lady I have ever had to deal with at a restaurant/pub
She talks down to customers
It took 30 min to get service at the pool when I went and asked what is the problem
She rolled her eyes and said the sever is coming 15 min later the server showed up
When you only have a 1: 45 min window intervals at the pool you shouldn't have to wait 45 min for your first drink
The hotel lost an entire round at the pool

Not only an overall amazing stay, but also amazing staff, specifically Trevor and Laeticia made the stay extra homey. There was nothing they both didn’t do to make it great. I would like to thank them

Great hotel. Shoutout to the restaurant staff for keeping the pool running so well in light of all the COVID restrictions. Great service/experience all around.

They said it was the medical rate, but I think it was the highest rate I've ever paid. But the room was quiet and clean and really easy access to all the town offers.

Stayed here for work. It was much nicer than I expected for a 3 star hotel. All of the staff were so nice. The avocado benny I had for breakfast was amazing! The bed was extremely comfortable and the bath towels were nice, soft, fluffy and big! I would stay here again for sure.

From the friendly, helpful employees at the front desk to the absolutely fabulous breakfast served in the morning, for room service, I would rate my stay at the coast Capri hotel absolutely fantastic! All the covid 19 measures are in place: there's sanitizer everywhere and yet your room is cleaned and sanitized professionally as if there was no disease going on. All in all, I would definetely recommend you to stay at the Coast Capri Hotel. It's well worth your money.

The location is good. But we had a fly and spiders in the room. We told to the front desk, he said they are from outside. I could not believe he said that. That’s not professional. Very disappointed.

Just checked in, nice rooms, pool is great for family entertainment. The staff are very friendly. Children are having a blast.

Room was extremely disappointing. Booked for 4 people and was given a queen bed and a sofa, with no space for a cot. I paid premium so I expected some luxury. Room only had a tiny warm fridge with no temp control and no freezer.
No water available except from the bathroom sink!
We were so cramped we had to book a second room at another hotel.
Front desk was not helpful.

Staff was top notch! As fellow hoteliers, my husband as I were very impressed. The front desk agent was new, as she pointed out, but you would never had known by her check in experience. She was knowledgeable, friendly and gave a lot of love to our dog! We had to order food in due to covid and several items were missed. However, the front desk was quick to react to our needs and always with a smile. They made us feel right at home! The view from our room over looking the pool, which was and unexpected treat to our quick trip! Location is central to everything. We are definitely looking forward to coming back on our next trip to Kelowna

Coast Capri Hotel. Fair price. Totally underrated.

Now I was a bit skeptical at first when my booking went through as I am a gambling man and love using the hotwire hot rate for my stays. Coast Capri Hotel, not the most amazing location in beautiful lakefront Kelowna. Or so I thought.

My partner and I arrived to this wonderful high energy front desk lady who seemed so excited for our arrival. This type of welcome was definitely memorable and appreciated. She let us know about their $10 breakfast almost immediately which I'll get into shortly.

Pros: Outdoor pool outside our room. What what? Gym private just for us. What what? Comfy and cute room with a walk out and some patio furniture. Nothing fancy but exactly what you need to sit and enjoy that Kelowna sunshine.

Location. I never thought I'd say this but grocery store a 5 minute walk. Liquor store was 2.

BREAKFAST. $10 is a steal for the breakfast dishes they were offering at this hotel. Such a steal we dined 4 times and tried almost everything on the menu. Add in their little Starbucks and you have exactly what you need to start your day.

This place is a vibe and I'm sure when COVID is over I will be back to enjoy a few cocktails poolside at this wonderful little hideaway.

This hotel has been here a long time. Located close to downtown. About a 5 minute drive to downtown. Hotel is clean and we'll maintained. Staff is friendly and polite. There is a mall right beside this location, Capri mall. Restaurants, bowling alley, grocery store, Starbucks and more all within a short walk. Located right off the hwy just pass Gordon drive heading east, can't miss it.

I stayed on the third floor and the rooms seemed pretty worn out. Lots of space but the furnishings felt old. At night I could hear water etc running through the taps in the walls. Beautiful pool/courtyard. My friend had a suite on the first floor that was nicely renovated and walked out to the pool, I’d request that type of room next time.

I have yet to be disappointed by Coast Capri or any Coast hotel I have stayed at. Rooms and staff are excellent and prices are great. I look forward to my next stay with Coast.

A great hotel in Kelowna. Staff is efficient and happy. Accommodation was clean and comfortable. Hot breakfast was delicious.

Friendly staff and nice clean rooms, but way too expensive. Charged almost $100 per night more than indicated online. Just as good service and hotels nearby that charge noticeably less. We will never stay there again.

Every interaction I had with staff was amazing and helpful. Very clean and beautiful hotel. Could not be happier! Would definitely recommend and will be coming back.

Clean and friendly. Location is acceptable but walking to the waterfront takes 30 minutes (we’re fit and in our 20s). Breakfast selection is horrendous. Maybe it’s tailored to the minimal North American cuisine - pretty much scrambled eggs and ketchup, water soaked sausages on the side.

Very clean, good location, shower could be better, very nice staff, breakfast ok, would like some bacon! Very nice bed except the stain on the pillow case, lovely temperature in the room at night. I did notice an empty beer can on a lobby table when we left for dinner which was still there when we got back after 11! Come on lads a quick sweep of the lobby wont kill you. Checking out was not so good though. They tried to charge us more then the agreed rate. Claiming we were paying for extra breakfast. Well at 50 dollars a breakfast I would want it served to me on a naked swimsuit model. When the receptionist tried to hide behind the hotel I was not impressed. You are on coasts time, you are coast hotel and they are paying you to represent them. It was all sorted fair play but not without them questioning our honesty and hiding behind systems and policies. LISTEN TO YOUR CUSTOMERS!

I am totally giving them this high review because they trip upgraded me to a suite:) so much better the regular rooms I used to get. The breakfast was bit slow and I was waiting for like almost 30mins for food to come and had to leave. Tables were not even cleaned timely considering how many people are eating there. I understand that the staff was doing the best they can but thought management could put more staff on the breakfast buffet.

The front desk staff are so welcoming. The rooms are so clean and we loved the idea of the breakfast buffet. I worked in the industry and i started recomending to my guests that whenever they are in kelowna they should stay at your hotel. One particular front desk staff that made our stay more comfotable was Lett.

One thing this hotel has is an amazing pool and the Buffet style breakfast. The rooms are ok, and like most Coast hotels in Western Canada the amenities are sparse in the bathroom, with public bathroom style soap and shampoos. Bath towels were small and had to use a couple to dry off. Room size is small and tight feeling. Tv was nice size and it had enough English channels. Location was close to a lot of industrial areas, but plenty of food choices. All in all clean and just ok.

This hotel is quite good. The staff make the difference. They really try hard. Yes the building is a bit dated but it offers great value, a nice pool, etc. And it's only like 5 minutes from downtown

Spent 4 Days here in May. The place was very comfortable. Stayed on 7th floor. Nice view and fast elevators. Easy to walk to waterfront. There is a mall next to the hotel where you could buy anything you need. The staff were friendly and always helpful. There is a nice pool area. I liked the bar and restaurant. We used the ballroom for over 100 people. Our food was quite good given the numbers they were dealing with. I would stay here again. I liked that we could choose to pay less if we chose to not have our room cleaned each day.

Generally nice but a bit expensive for what it is. Breakfast however is good and better than you usually find.

Upscale feel for we humbler folk. Excellent service, delicious food and lovely amenities. Great conference centre. Say hi to Letitia at the front desk.

Clean, big modern room with balcony.
Beds were very comfortable, lots of pillows. Bathroom could use handheld shower head. Easy free parking.

Stayed here last summer for a winery trip. The coast has a beautiful pool/hot tub set up and an intimate restaurant with open bay doors towards this hilite. I recommend this hotel
