Coast Hillcrest Hotel

This is one of our favourite places to stay when we have the opportunity to get away. This time it was high season, so everything was open. The hotel was buzzing with guests, and it was delightful to sit in the lounge, enjoying the view while we watched all the happy people. The food was awesome (we had the Vodka, Prawn, & Chorizo pasta… soooooo good) in the dining room, and the French toast we had for breakfast was lovely.
The room was clean, the beds perfect, and the extras we requested were in the room when we arrived. Though we left our dog at home this trip, it was so fun to encounter all the different dogs staying in the hotel.
We highly recommend the Coast Hillcrest Hotel for any romantic getaway.

The restaurant experience we had was really embarrassing unfortunately. For one, we both had coffee, and the server only had enough in her pot for one of us to have a cup full and I got a third of a cup. I never got a refill. Not even offered. And we still got charged $6 for 2 coffees. I also ordered back bacon with my breakfast. I was served ham. We asked the server, she had no idea the difference. To be clear i work in food service and I know very well the difference. She came back and told us the chef said that back bacon is the loin and ham is the shoulder and we don't know what we are talking about. I know. The difference. Thank you very much for being condescending and assuming you can pull one over and second of all not only was it NOT back Bacon, it had grooves in the sides like a cheap HAM. If you're going to try to doop your guests, maybe feel out their knowledge. Additionally, "toast" is a hilarious way to describe warm wet bread with no toasting in sight. My friend got breakfast hash, the onions were super raw and it was clear that it was rushed. Very dissapointing. We will not be back.

We booked this hotel for one night and were very satisfied. Everything was clean, the staff was friendly and the rooms were very spacious and chic. The only two points here were that there was no ceiling light, only bedside lamps and that the windows were very difficult to open. The hotel has an indoor and an outdoor jacuzzi that are wonderfully hot. Also a steam cabin, a gym and a sauna (all great). What was great was the restaurant, good and fair prices and excellent food (big portions and all delicious). Also the condition was very friendly. Overall it was a very nice stay and a very chic hotel. We would book it again.

We like this place. But sometimes the staff are nice and sometimes not. We had a really nice server at the dining room. He was pleasant, sincere and made dining there a wonderful experience.

We have always stayed at this hotel when coming through Revelstoke, the service from the front desk, servers, housekeeping etc has always been top notch. It is such a beautiful view of the mountains and trees surrounding it.

We were celebrating our 42nd wedding anniversary and they made it known to us and we appreciated that a lot. We could not ask for a better stay!

After breaking down in Revelstoke we were forced to stay the night. The only room left in town was at the Coast Resort. While the cost was quite pricey we were given a 25% discount. Chelsea and Adam provided the best service with a complimentary ride down town and cookies brought to our room before bed. The restaurant has amazing views of the mountains and the food was great. Being served like this in a stressful time was truly a blessing. Our short stay was nothing less than perfect.

We had the best possible experience for a 20th anniversary getaway. Our bed was luxurious, the room was neat and clean, the foyer and lobby were warm and inviting, and everyone was so kind and professional. It made us feel special.
When we travel to anywhere remotely close to Revelstoke iin the future we will definitely return to the Hillcrest Coast Hotel

Was absolutely a beautiful place outside. The inside was just as nice when walking in.the room was clean and fresh with a king bed. The view was superb. The restaurant food and service were fantastic. The patio had closed, but they allowed us to stay and enjoy the quiet. Instead of going inside. I would say this was a very relaxing, enjoyable 2 days. We will be back.

Nice and clean rooms with polite staff. The view from the room was excellent! There was everything I needed and free parking.

Was able to book a room last minute after a bad experience with an airbnb. They gave us a dog bowl and some treats for our pup and were very pet friendly. Additionally, their restaurant was awesome and allowed dogs on their patio.

Great location, however some of the rooms have a questionable slanted ceiling that is prone to incur head fatalities!

Exactly what I expect from an above average highway motel. Whether you're driving through town or spending a few days, this is an excellent option.

What a paradise tucked away in the mountains! Beautiful grounds, quality food/cocktails and picturesque stay!

We’re fans of Coast hotels and we enjoyed our stay at the Hillcrest. It’s nestled in the trees with fabulous Mountain View’s and a surprisingly good breakfast/brunch! The patio/terrace is expansive and feels like a resort. Great place to eat breakfast, relax with a book or afternoon cocktail.

Clean and pet friendly with beautiful views. Great dining and wine options. Staff are friendly and helpful.

The Hillcrest is a treat as a mid-tier hotel. Staff was always friendly, rooms were comfy, with a great shower as well. The TVs could use some updating, however.

The view from the hot tub on the patio can’t be beat, and the decor/styling of the hotel is great. It is currently heavily booked by people partaking in Selkirk Tangiers Heli Skiing, with few people there specifically for Revelstoke Mountain Resort. It is the first stop on the Revelstoke Resort Shuttle, which always guarantees you a seat, as well as a slightly longer trip to and from the resort. Be warned, there’s no way for you to walk to downtown Revelstoke from here. You will be reliant on your car, the shuttle, or a taxi.

I would definitely stay here again. Loved my week here!
