JUST MY OPENION. This hotel was very over priced in my opinion paid 130. The hotel hallway was very stained. Guests were extremely loud in the halls even though I was close to the reception area. You could hear everyone through the walls. I did not feel very safe in this hotel. The guy next to me started violently vomiting at 4: 30 AM lasted an hour. Microwave has greasy prints on it. Room was very dismal felt like I was in a renovated basement. Basic cable.the hotel exterior needs some attention. Only 2 pillows that made me sad. The comforter HAD NO COVER.just between sheets.
️️️ I did like though that u can pull up to the reception to check in and drop you bags THIS IS THE REASON I CHOSE THIS HOTEL. I was traveling alone as a female and this is the safest way to check. We'll lit parking area.

We have stayed here multiple times it’s always been good, we stayed last night rented two rooms for my daughters birthday both rooms were so cold we called down to say the thermostat wasn’t going higher than 15. They sent maitnence up twice still no luck. We weren’t offered to move to another room we called down and asked for heaters and kept them on all night still freezing cold. The doors to the deck didn’t keep any heat in all the hot air was escaping through them as it was -28 outside. The rooms also not the cleanest found a fake nail on the floor and hair all over the bathroom. When I checked out I let the lady know our rooms still were freezing cold and she didn’t apologize or offer a discount she just looked at her coworker and shook her head.even though we have stayed multiple times. Poor customer service won’t be coming back unfortunately.

Great place to stay with kids as the pool is a big hit. Service is going down hill a bit. Had to ask for towels everytime we went in the pool. When we searched for the in house restaurant it said closed but it was open. The pillows and towels are half the size as regular ones. I guess to save on laundry costs. The morning we left there was a broken window in the lobby and sharp jagged shards sticking out for anybody to seriously injure them selves on. Seemed like a liability waiting to happen.

Hotel was clean and staff were helpful with my requests and questions!
A few things things to note:
-the key scan doesn't work on occasion and I had to get it reactivated a few times during my 3 day stay.
-there is no water bottle provided in rooms.

My room did have a microwave, kettle, coffee machine, and mini refrigerator.

Our group had a meeting in the conference room on the third floor and it was a great experience, with a nice patio overlooking the mountains. The food served during our meeting was definitely high quality, the highlight being the chicken soup and broccoli salad with smoked cheese. The common area on the first floor has a beautiful courtyard with all kinds of topical plants, feels like I'm in Mexico!

Shout out the Malinda in House Keeping for helping me with my key card scanner when it wasn't opening the fitness center door!

I love this hotel! The courtyard inside is so cool and I would highly recommend the Vista room for any event or wedding. It was beautiful! The deck outside was perfect for some golden hour photos with all the guests. Great location too!

We were bussed in and out so can't comment on location. We were also checked in and out by a third party so can't comment on service either. The room was nice, spacious and clean with a good mattress. The room overlooked a pool complex so could be noisy, though the pool shut at 10pm. I was not disturbed by the nearby building work.

If you're going to have a hotel right next to a major highway, maybe try sound proofing the rooms. If you absolutely must stay here, bring some good ear plugs.

Hi! I'd like to send in my review about my stay on August 26,2023. I booked a room prior to all the fire activity in Kamloops, for a mother & daughter Stagette Surprise Party. I live in Calgary so I made arrangements for her friends to come decorate and set up. Front desk staff provided them with a key. Everything was arranged in the room. It was a wonderful surprise for her. We went out for dinner (8 of us) and returned a short time later followed by drinks in the lounge. There was a party of 3 just finishing their meal and about to leave. Two men were present at the bar having a beer. A total of 3 were on duty, one waitress and 2 bartenders. We ordered champagne, pitchers, margaritas and wine. The fireplace was on outside and we asked if we could go outside. They said it was closed. So we then asked if we could go out and take a group photo. That was apparently OK but we had to return immediately inside. We went back to our table to finish our drinks and was told they were closing so we took our drinks back to the room. It was a Saturday night 11ish, so we had to celebrate my daughters party back in the room. The neighbors told us to shut up. Hotel staff came to our room twice. It was a downer to not be able to socialize in the lounge. There were six of us left by then. It was like a reunion for the ladies. We were having fun. Not out of control. Thank you for listening.

We overnighted here on our stop in Kamloops on the Rocky Mountaineer. After the Gold Star service we received on the train, I was surprised by these accommodations. The hotel staff was helpful and the lobby was pleasant, but the room itself was bare bones. It had all the basics, but nothing more. The decor was tired and outdated. There was a long wait for the restaurant, so we ordered boxed salads and ate it in the lobby. The food was decent, but the experience was hardly what you would want after a day of sightseeing. I would have given this hotel a two-star rating were it not for the helpful staff who were doing their best.

Stayed here for a wedding, would not stay here otherwise. Rooms are spacious but our room stunk like cigarettes. Pillows and towels are oddly small. Expensive and not worth it. Pool was under maintenance.

First time staying at Coast Kamloops or any Coast hotel. Room was clean and had everything you could want.

Best available place at a decent price. Bed was very uncomfortable but clean. Staff is good. The bar and restaurant had an amazing staff and desserts

Shout out to Sara for awesome customer service. I understand things can get missed during a room clean and am sympathetic to anyone working the front desk during this shortage of workers. Suffice it to say, I had an issue with the room, spoke with Sara and had it all resolved in less than 30 min. Thanks again for taking care of us.

This is an honest review. Do NOT stay here. This hotel is very dirty and unkept. We were shocked at the state of this hotel the price. We paid $330 for one night and it was one of the pricier hotels in town. But we thought let’s stay somewhere nice for the last night of our holidays. What a mistake.

The room was dark, smelly, stains on the ceiling and carpet, stains on the couch. Fridge was sorry, light switches full of
Dirty finger prints, coffee table was dirty. There was mold in the shower and around the sink. An old water leak on the ceiling above the bed. The bedding smelled and there were numerous hairs
In the bed.

We honestly felt so grossed out we left for most of the afternoon/evening so we would have to spend as little time as possible here. I struggled to sleep as honestly, I was SO grossed out and disturbed at the state of the room. We woke up very early and got the hell out of there.

This is NOT acceptable. Management needs to take ALL of these comments about the cleanliness seriously and give this place a MASSIVE overhaul. It is disrespectful to provide this level of dirt to your customers. Unacceptable. Absolutely disgusting. Shame on the management for not providing a safe, clean environment for their customers. I also do not need a reply about how you will take these comments into consideration because clearly you have not done so after numerous complaints about the cleanliness. This was a terrible experience and we are extremely disappointed that we spent money to stay here.

I do not like giving reviews that are less than satisfactory, I was raised to appreciate the phrase, “if you have nothing nice to say, then say nothing at all”.
This will be my first 0 star review. I had booked our room well in advance at this hotel, I SPECIALLY noted to the front reception taking my booking that I have a small pug, 1yrs that will be joining me, I was advised they have pet friendly rooms for dogs, as they are welcome. Upon arrival my husband checked in at 5: 30pm and all was pleasant. After the 4th time I brought my pug outside to walk and use restroom, my husband and I were approached at 10pm by the front end, the gentleman stated that we were NOT permitted to have our dog stay in the room that the front end in July had booked for us, with FULL knowledge I was travelling with a dog. The blonde haired girl at the front, whom couldn’t even make eye contact with me as I was being chastised, she LIED to the man who approached us, stating she had asked if a pet would be staying, she NEVER ASKED, why would she as we booked a pet friendly room, to reiterate I DID IN FACT book a pet friendly room. I explained to the man that approached us, that we could not leave as I had 2 drinks with dinner and I was not comfortable with driving to another location, instead we were charged a fee, double the initial fee of the pet friendly room I booked. The confrontation left a huge sour taste in my mouth about THEIR BOOKING MISTAKE-NOT MINE! This created an uncomfortable, unsettling confrontation that was unnecessary, and humiliating.
Please note, this hotel IS under a provincial wide travel ban, set forth by the Premier, this ban included Kamloops, rooms were to be canceled and only for evacuation, first responders and their family along with essential service, this Coast Hotel allowed vacation travel, plates from Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta lined the parking lot, speaking to others at the hotel from out of province, EVERY SINGLE non BC Plate were recreation vacationers! Wow double standard they book me in for a pet friendly room, try to kick us out at 10pm but they lay a blind eye to the BC provincial government travel ban! Never again disgusted!

We as a family with two teenagers stayed for one night in Kamloops. For just one night it is okay especially because it's well located, but besides that it was disappointing. The hotel is aged, dirty and dark. Even though we had a outside-facing window, we couldn't open it. The carpet in the room had stains and the bedding wasn't fully cleaned as well. However, the breakfast in the restaurant was fine!

I’ve stayed at this hotel a lot almost exclusively every time I’ve gone to Kamloops. However the last few times I’ve gone it has been less that ideal. The bathtub in the room had dead bugs in it and my wife found a live one crawling around as well. The pool areas and hot tub have grime rings around the top on the tile a clear indication they aren’t cleaned regularly or properly. The last stay because it was near capacity and a busy weekend the price jump was crazy. I paid 798$ after taxes for 2 nights. Next time I will plan ahead and stay somewhere else.

Not impressed, fitness room was a regular room turned fitness room. Very small and stuffy. No venting, no fan, no water.
Outside decks allow smoking, so if your door is open it sucks next door smoke in.
And no continental breakfast.
Not my first choice again. Many Coastal franchises are much better, this is a reflection of local management and ownership.

We had a kitchenette with 2 queen beds. It was only stocked for 2 people. We asked for more and only got a paper plate and wooden spoon and fork. Someone screwed up the chemicals in the pool so my special needs son was very disappointed. The fridge was barely cool. We also only had 2 clothes, towels etc.the pillows seemed really cheap because they just flattened right out once the pillows cases extended themselves. For the price we were charged, I am very disappointed in this hotel. I have stayed in a few other Coast hotels so like to be loyal, but won’t be staying here again.

Location of the hotel works well when passing through town. I'm glad we only stayed one night, though. Our room was dark and not well kept. We decided to hit the pool and hot tub up, but that was a mistake. Pool had a layer of scum on it and was a milky color, and the hot tub was filthy. We left and had showers immediately. Funny cause the next day there was a notice at the front desk that the pool and hot tub were out of order for maintenance.
