Went here under the suggestion that they had the best fish and chips in town, they are in my opinion 3rd afters monks and the wellingdon beach snack shack. Server and service were top notch. The "ole fashion" drink is a must if you enjoy a bourbon cocktail.

Backwoods greens was hands down the tastiest salad i’ve ever had! And the cashew hummus was to die for! Beautiful ocean view, top notch service. Would recommend.

Delicious food with a view. Enjoyed a lovely lunch on the patio. I had the Buddha bowl and hubby had the fried chicken waffle sandwich. Both were amazing!

We came this evening for a goodbye dinner for one of our friends. We were sat and three different waitresses walked past us with no acknowledgement, other then a glance as they walked by to bring drinks to the two tables that arrived after us. After 25 minutes, we walked out. Nobody bothered to even acknowledge us as we left. They all just stared at us. Will not be returning. Please teach your staff to actually do their jobs.

Went down the street to Monks and had a lovely meal and service.

Saw the pretzel on their menu and headed over. Excellent service and food! Everything we ordered was super delicious. The hazelnut cake reminds me of a German friend's baking (he's a baking master). The waiter was super friendly and even recommended the sunshine music festival for the night. Would definitely come back when visiting the area next time!

Fantastic ocean front views. The food was amazing and the cocktail menu was great as well. Had the Ribs that come with mashed potatoes and seasonal veggies (broccolini) and had the Powell Riviera (mai tai) and it was spot on. Would definitely recommend this place to enjoy a delicious meal and beverage.

Very tasty food, quick and accommodating service. The drinks are also fun and prices are reasonable for the quality $20 -$30 for entrees.

My only advice to the restaurant would be the amount of bread that comes with the mussels needs to be about 5x the amount they provide now

This is a great little restaurant! The quality of the food is consistently excellent and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The Odd Cucumber Gin and Tonic is too die for! The coconut curry squash soup is great! The Beer Can Chicken is super yummy! And the Burgers are also really good. Can't go wrong with grabbing a bite to eat here in Powell River!

After a very long day of travelling from Ontario to Powell River my family and I were famished. I looked at local restaurants and the menu here had high praise from my kids so we ordered some takeout to bring back to our hotel.

Wow! You guys nailed it. Despite being take out everything was perfect!

Chicken bites, wings, Buddha bowl and Mac and cheese to share. All great!

Went there for dinner with my friend We enjoyed alot! Great Service and Superb Food. We were sharing one Salad and they give us in two little dishes really apprciate that! 100% recommended

No complaints about the experience, but I wouldn't say either stood out as truly exceptional.

Great atmosphere and great service. The Mai Tai is excellent, and the Wild Mushroom Rigatoni is absolutely delicious.

Nice afternoon patio lunch. Wings were good but the gravy on the poutine was a bit chunky. The fries were only okay. Lovely, quick service though!

Food, location and service were all awesome. The staff were accommodating with sitting us somewhere we could see our bikes and were quick to help us out with drinks when we arrived. Kye was our server and he was a gentleman, very friendly and helpful (sorry for calling you Kyle)! Would highly recommend the Tuna Stack and will definitely be back if I’m ever in the area.

We had an amazing dinner here tonight. Everything we had was fantastic, and between four of us we ordered a LOT! Brussels sprouts (2 orders), poutine, wings, beef lettuce cups, burgers (2), ribs, desserts (2) - every dish was a winner. Our server, Sydney, was wonderful - very friendly, knowledgeable, professional (how did she remember everything? !?) and fun. We're only here for one night, but if we were staying another we'd most definitely go back. I would not have expected to find such a gem in such a small town.

The inside and patio seating are both very nice with great ambiance. Both entrees and appetizers were excellent and the staff were very nice.

the service was not good either.not sure why all the waitresses are wearing denim jeans pulled up way too high? It's not a good look.servers standing around chatting about their relationships loud enough for customers to hear while tables wait? This place needs better management.not what you would expect in an establishment asking the prices they do.save your money and go elsewhere.

A Powell River staple! Perfect take out for waiting for the ferry, and a great ocean view if you're getting a table. Their online ordering is modern, which is rare in a small town! If you're an out of towner - this is our version of Cactus Club. As a vegetarian there aren't a ton of things for me here, but the buddha bowl is to die for.

Nice surroundings, excellent food and friendly service. My salmon burger was the best I've ever had.

2/5 food. Nice location and service was friendly. Way too overpriced for what you get. It's like a mediocre place started trying to be premium.
