An absolute joke of a dealership. You can't get through to the service department, they don't return messages, and the receptionist is suuuuuuper rude and talks down to you. Wont be going there again.

My friend was interested in a Dodge Grand Caravan GT Coastal had for sale. Chris and Louie were very accommodating and offered the vehicle to us at a very fair price. They were pleasant and there was no sales pressure sales tactics. Unfortunately for them we found a vehicle with 25000 less kms.at the same price point when you take out the documentation and financing fees. I would not hesitate to refer them to any of my friends who need a vehicle in the future.

Last week bought a 2018 F150 from Coastal Burnaby. It was my first time buying a car in a decade. I had just been keeping my old car running and liked not having car payments until now. But I decided that I would finally treat myself to a nicer ride and one that I had always wanted. I chose Coastal Burnaby because I am a paramedic and we take our ambulances there. The service team had always been good to work with.
I went on their website and happened to find the F150 model with everything that I had wanted, color, engine, etc. I reached out to them and was put into contact with Hash.
For me, making this leap into a 'new to me truck' and spending that kind of $$$ after all these years was stressful. But Hash was great, did not pressure me, and took the time to answer all my questions. I ended up putting a deposit down over the phone, then went in a few days later to test drive. The Truck was just as advertised and I bought it.
I have been driving it for a week now, and have reached back out to Hash twice with some questions/concerns. He took the time to answer me and involved some techs to make sure that I got the best info and put my mind at ease.
Overall, I really appreciate how Hash helped, answered my questions, and worked to make the whole experience pleasant. As my co-workers have noticed my new ride at the station, I have been happy to tell them where I got it and the good experience that it was.
Also thanks to Brittany in finance, Azat on insurance, and Mike in Service for their assistance.
Hopefully this truck gives me some good years of service and I can have some fun with it, and next time I need to swap into another ride, I'll give Hash a call.

Had visited this dealership in late 2022 for a vehicle purchase inquiry. Myself and my companion dealt with staff member "Chris De La Bastide" (Chris). Although we did find Chris somewhat helpful, he had referenced my companion whom was with me at the time as "this dude" in what sounded like a belittling sort of manner. This was said when he was inquiring on whom exactly my companion was. We did find this reference quite rude and were a little taken back.

Message to Chris: Some more professional sought etiquette when referencing a person would be appreciated Chris.

We would trust that moving forward the right training will be provided to reduce the chances of this happening again.

My purchasing experience was pretty good. I guess the only issue I had was during the financing part with the typical dealership surprise offers of extra servicing and warranty extension costs. Would have been nice if I had time to read up about them at my leisure instead of feeling pressured to make the decisions right at the dealer. It's the part of purchasing a vehicle that I've always hated and it's the sort of thing sours the process a bit. Other than that, the purchasing experience was pretty good. Hash was very helpful, answered all my questions. Pleased with my purchase so far. Of all the ford dealerships I've been to, this one's provided me with the best experience so far so far.

BUYER AND SERVICE BEWARE!
I recently purchased a used vehicle from Coastal Ford Squamish for over $60k and as soon as driving it off the lot, two issues arose. The sales manager kindly offered to take it into the Burnaby location for service to get the issues looked at.

On the day service was scheduled, service was scheduled for 8: 30am, I dropped it off early at 7: 30am, and said I'll just walk to my work, instead of waiting there for the work to be complete. At 4: 00pm without an update up to this time, I call to ask for an update as I was ready to leave to pick it up, and was advised that they will be keeping it for another day. This was only supposed to be originally looked at and if they could easily fix, they would, but said it may likely need to go to a Dodge dealer for work. The car was drivable when I brought it in, and without any notice or request to keep the car overnight or an offer for a replacement, I'm now stuck an hour from home, with no child seats for my kids and have to find my own way home. And without an offer to help or an apology, he hung up on me. Worst service I've ever experienced. I may recommend purchasing a vehicle from them, but I would not recommend taking here for service. Zero customer service.

UPDATE:
3 weeks has passed, they took my truck in a few days after this for the day, and was able to finally fix the suspension, but referred me to a Dodge dealership to get the light issue fixed because they don't have the ability to properly diagnose an electric issue. However because they wanted to save some dollars and cut corners and do the work themselves, they improperly completed the suspension fix, and refuse to contact me to own up to their mistakes and correct this issue. They refuse to respond to my calls and emails after trying to contact them for 1 week! Shadiest dealer and car purchase I've ever dealt with, and I've bought and dealt with over 20 vehicle purchases.

We also had great interactions with Chris and the finance team (Brittany and Janette). The whole process was stress free and efficient - we drove our new (to us) truck home that afternoon. Inquired about trading my vehicle in for a new f150 online using the trade in form/ pop up and got a voicemall the next day from Louie Lyu (sales consultant). Right off the bat my information was wrong even though I listed my first, last name and email on the inquiry.
Shortly later I got a email with also the wrong information on it, once again directed to a different name on my personal email.
When I called back to inquire why my name was wrong I was left with a rude reply and no apology. And even after talking to Louie I was still directed with the wrong name.
Not worth my time looking for a new vehicle here.

Customer service phone operator is super rude. I asked her to transfer my call to service department. She said they are busy and when I tried to ask another request, she said I’m not listening to you and hung up the phone (3: 10 Oct 24,2022). I’m going to raise the issue to upper management and Ford Canada.

If I could give zero stars I would. ‘Reserved’ an F150 Lightning in summer 2021 and the dealership is trying to scam customers by asking them to bid over MSRP to secure a vehicle, hinting at up to $30,000ADM. Very disingenuous and borderline fraudulent, considering I reserved my place in line and that line is being ignored and manipulated by the dealership. What’s the point of a reservation if it‘a not required and doesn’t secure a place in line? I’ll go buy my next truck at a dealership that acts in good faith, not collecting deposits in bad faith and fraud.

The parts guy was not helpful and mostly rude when I asked simple questions. I’m comparing this experience to other visits at Ford Dealerships.

I had my best auto purchasing experience in my life getting new Bronco.
The entire team at Coastal Ford Burnaby is amazing; Friendly greetings and very welcoming. Special thanks to Lorenz whom I had the most interaction during my visit at the dealership. Lorenz is very respectful and friendly and most of all, very professional in his career. I was thankful that I got to know him who really tried and achieved getting me the best deal!

2021 BRONCO wildtrack ORDER

Bought husband 2021 bronco for his 50th birthday. He waited over a year for this truck so he was excited but yet disappointed. I didn’t learn his disappointment until the manager emailed us.

Purchase agreement and insurance paper noted the odometer at 55km but we picked it up at 93km without test drive. Manager swore joyride wouldn’t happen but NO explanation on the mileage difference. New vehicle needed gas fill up so from Coastal Ford (5750 lougheed) to the nearest gas station must be 38km when the nearest Chevron (6751 lougheed) is 1.5km.

Our 2021 RAV4 was 9km, 2020 Supra was 27km and 2016 Tacoma was 12km. My husband still has all these numbers in his head. I didn’t realize these numbers are so important to men.

I purchased a New 2021 mach e from this dealership, had the vehicle there couple of times for service and I am not really impressed. Do not have your hopes high If you are thinking of having your vehicle washed and vacuumed when it is returned to you after service, because that is not going to happen. And no loaner cars, the the drop off service only available for short distances from the dealership. Overall the customer service is weak.

I've leased Fords from this location the last number of years and have always had great service! I never feel pressured into anything, and I'm always happy with my car. Servicing my car is done quickly, too. Recently, I leased a new Explorer (ST - highly recommend!) and the process was super swift, the car was spotless and there was a full tank of gas! Thanks for taking care of me!

It was absolutely filthy and took me 3 hours of my time. Even just a quick power wash and vacuum would have sufficed. It didn't have to be perfect but to put some effort into cleaning a used vehicle that is being purchased would have been nice. You were already servicing it so I don't see why you couldn't quickly rinse it down for the new owner. Most of the time when my friends and families cars are serviced at Ford dealerships they end the servicing with a quick wash and vacuum.

Liars! Told me the clutch is under recall and still covered under them. I make an appointment take time off work to bring it in, and I was told it’s not covered and I had to pay 100$ for just a diagnosis and then the cost of the repair. Stay away, not the first time I leave here unsatisfied or with hidden fees!

I wanted to give my 5-star rating to Kayla. This review is long overdue. I came there a while ago with my sister to look at their SUVs. Kayla was very accommodating even though we said that we were not ready to buy a new vehicle yet, and we just wanted to have ideas on what SUV models we can choose from. At that time, we had just purchased a brand new Mazda6 so we were not in a rush for another one. She let us test drive their brand-new Ford Explorer, and while we were there I’ve also asked if I could also test drive their brand-new 2019 Mustang. She’s let me test drive both and really spent time with us without discrimination and treated us as if we were serious buyers. Kayla brought me to their big parking lot where a row of Mustangs with different colors are parked, and she let me pick a color to test drive. Bam! My excitement was like a kid from a candy store. Of course, I picked my favorite color Blue, and I’ve attached the photo here. Seriously, if we hadn’t just bought our Mazda6, I would have bought the Mustang from Kayla. I really liked how the Mustang drives and the interior/exterior style compared to the Camaro that I’ve also tried from another dealership. When time comes that I am ready to get the Mustang, I would certainly come back here and look for Kayla.

My wife and I purchased a 2020 Ford Explorer just before Christmas. Sales consultant Joe Rehbach was kind, attentive and focused on getting us into the right vehicle for our growing family. We were offered a fair trade-in value for our old vehicle and combined with the December promotions we felt we got a very good deal in the end. Since our purchase we have had to take our vehicle in for some warranty work. The team at Coastal Ford Burnaby have been exceptional with dealing with the issues and have gone above and beyond to ensure we are taken care of.

I am a firm believer that it doesn’t matter what brand of vehicle you buy, there will always be issues that arise. What matters to me most is how the company and people deal with you after the fact. Little over a week ago I made an appointment to have my transmission in my 2013 F-150 serviced. I was assured my appointment was at 0900hrs. I even arrived an 1hr early to ensure my spot was secure. To my surprise my appointment wasnt 0900hrs it was really 1130hrs. I work a graveyard shift so arguably I value my time more than most people. I was extremely disatsified to hear then news I had to wait till almost 1230pm just so the mechanics can change my transmission fliud. After the service department representative informed me I either had to wait or come back till noon, I decided to just wait it out. As I waited patiently, not any one of their staff members updated me on the status of my service. I saw other customers being informed of their service status but not one of their staff members came to me. Secondly the quote I received on the phone was less than what I had to pay upfront. And finally when they were done they did even clean up the mess they left in my truck, I had to throw it out. They could of have at least cleaned my vehicle. A few dealerships I've been to in the past offer cleaning services both interior and exterior. And they even threw their trash out. Like many of the reviews here there service is appauling.

Racing for a ferry I experienced a flat tire. Not knowing how to change my tire I pulled into Coastal Ford. The staff were unbelievably friendly and helpful. They had my tire changed in minutes and I can’t thank them enough for their kind service. I will recommend Coastal Ford to all my friends and will one day return- hopefully not with a flat tire:)

Bought a used F-150 from them this summer. The entire experience was great - from sales to service. There was an issue where installation of Android Auto software corrupted the memory of the unit. They stood by their promise to have Android Auto available and ended up ordering me a new (current generation) unit!

Bad customer service. After having paid them to halve something fixed recently, I am told that I need to purchase a new part pertaining to the same issue. When I try to ask more questions to their representative she becomes very rude and starts cutting me off. If you expect me to give you $700 for a service, I should be allowed to ask questions so that I can understand what it is that I am paying.

The after-sales service staff are very enthusiastic and patient. Today, Mr. (I’m sorry that I forgot to ask his name) the receptionist, immediately helped me to solve the problem of my vehicle after he got to know it, and immediately lay down under the vehicle to check the problem. Service people were very helpful and friendly. I received a ride home after dropping off my vehicle. When the work was completed my service advisor called me and sent a car to pick me up. Upon arrival at the service dept.my service advisor explained the work that was performed and released the vehicle to me. I was very pleased with how I was treated and would recommend Coastal Ford to anyone who wants to purchase a vehicle or wants to have it serviced.

Dropped vehicle off at Coastal Ford Burnaby. Since this car is my main source of transportation, a shuttle was provided for me to return home, while they worked on it. Periodic updates were provided on progress along the way. Finally, when vehicle was ready, a shuttle was sent to retrieve me and got me back to the dealership to pick up my car. All in all, great service, communication and will continue to be a customer of Coastal Ford, thank you.

My vehicle Service experience wasn't great. With an exception of one older gentleman the rest of the CSRs in service had no sense of urgency. Could not even locate my vehicle after service. One of the staff was very rude for no apparent reason. Wanted to buy a Ford Expedition from these guys but no more. They lost a loyal customer.

My truck needed a lot of TLC, I hesitated to take it in because I knew there was a few mystery problems. Guess what no mystery to the service department at Coastal Ford. All the problem areas are getting addressed and my truck will be back up to speed. I was treated with respect and warmth, never felt awkward as I explained what I was experiencing. I would recommend Coastal Ford if I was asked for a referral.

My experience with the dealership was great! Everything went well and smoothly. My sales rep Travis was really helpful and easy-going, he understood what my needs were and was able to meet what I was looking for (got a good deal). During the whole sales process, Travis was able to answer all my questions, kept me updated and made sure everything went well. We recently got another car from him a few days ago and again, great customer service! Would recommend Travis as your sales rep!

Recently bought a mustang from here and I have nothing but good things to say. Leo Yang was all extremely friendly and closely. For my new car experience 10/10. Will definitely be coming back when its time for am upgrade.
