Always get friendly service here, and I am always greeted with a smile. Love the smell of the freshwd baked goodness when you walk in!

Nice location easily accessible by bus [route #1] and with many other shops in the same mall/area.

Very friendly and helpful staff, you can clearly see all of their items on display in the shop and they slice your bread when you buy it. The baked goods are incredibly fresh, picked up a pack of apple cinnamon hot cross buns [multiple flavors/varieties available! ] and a loaf of bread, both were baked earlier today. The hot cross buns are amazing!

Will definitely be back again to explore more of their offerings.

Poor Quality product when compared to north location. Baker burns product on regular basis. Very frustrating.

Very impressed with the offerings. The seed bread, apricot log, and lemon blueberry scones are our favourites. Staff are very helpful. Always a pleasure to shop in person or order from skip the dishes.

Hello Cobs.
You had a trial for a Vegan Cinnamon Bun. It was AMAZING! Honestly it tasted just like any old Cinnamon Bun, and was super delicious. I wanted to come buy it again, but the trial ended before I could make it in.
Please bring it back again! It would be a dream come true. <3

And for anyone who hadn't tried it, if it comes back, give it a try. You wont be disappointed!

Love their chocolate croissants - I was going to get that today but tried a cinnamon bun instead, and believe me when I say it was the best cinnamon bun of my life! Great customer service as well!

Great staff and service unfortunately you were sold out of the bread I wanted but your salesperson was very informative about other choices.
I unfortunately decided to go with my own selection and bought two baguettes. It was a poor choice the crumb and crusts as well as the textures of the two small 300g baguettes I purchased were sub par. It was like a poorly made white bread overly dense in the shape of a baguette. Not worth the 3.30$.

A little overpriced and okay pastry. This location is a little better than the North Nanaimo store for quality and service.

The pastry is good however it's still a little pricey and no discount for half a dozen. Only come if you feel like a treat.

Absolutely the best sourdough bread in town and the people are wondrous. The North store has the best break slicer. ;-)

From the great smiling faces at the front counter, to everyone joyfully baking in the back, cobs reminded me of a small town bakery.
I had a ham and cheese croissant and it was absolutely delicious!

The bakers and cashiers are always very friendly every time I've been in. I only wish they had more whole grain/whole wheat options available.

I love everything about Cobs. The bread is always amazing, delicious and fresh! They have an incredible selection of bakery items that are all BEYOND delicious and soft and FRESH. They carry too many things to name but some of my families favorites include.cinnamon loaf thick sliced (you get to pick thin or thick slices for your loafs) the raspberry white chocolate scones, French baguette, grain bread, pizza shells, sour dough and on and on. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Cobs.the smell from the parking lot gives it away and always happy personable and friendly staff. I love that they usually have samples while you wait, a stamp card to earn a free loaf, coloring pages for the kids to color and they hang on their walls for them and the kids love it. It is a popular place and usually busy but the staff are very fast and lines move swiftly.
