Chic and bright cafe/ ceramicware store! All the baked goods I tried were excellent! I particularly liked their savoury scone. It was softer than expected but very flavourful.

I got a Croissant and a passion fruit tart. The Croissant is pretty good, but man that tart was amazing. Crust is delicate and buttery, the passion fruit custard? Was so good. Smooth with a strong passion fruit flavour.

Love this place I drive every Sunday for so many miles just to get their cake and latte The atmosphere and people who work there are also awesome. Thank you

This place is great for people-watching in summer. I've been here for a quick coffee alone and with a medium sized group. Try their hibiscus iced tea. You won't regret it.

They also offer a variety of pastries, and retail items such as mugs, candles, pasta, among others.

Delicious baked goods and good coffee. Was a shame that the young lady serving me seemed so miserable and didn’t speak much. It was almost like I had done something to offend her!

I'm glad I gave this place a try. I came around 1: 30 on Easter Sunday and was surprised to find myself the only customer, but the traffic (mostly to-go) picked up a lot during my visit. Probably a weird day because it was a holiday. The staff were really nice and genuine people and I felt at home in the shop. The only seating is the stools along the window counter - most of the floorspace is dedicated to the gift shop, which sells a variety of home goods and pantry items including but not limited to candles, tea towels, ceramic kitchenware, dried pastas, and sauces.
The lunch menu is pretty small with just 3 sandwiches, but there's a great selection of pastries, plus all the usual coffee and tea drinks. I had the Tomato & Fior di Latte Sandwich, the Pistachio and Citrus Semolina Cake, and a Matcha Latte. The sandwich was basically a standard caprese but very good - I loved the fresh roll and garlic aioli. It was pretty small though. I like smaller portions within reason, but this was not the size I expected given the price. The cake was amazing! I love how semolina cakes are always so moist and the flavours here were really nice. Unlike the sandwich, this was a pretty generously-sized slice, but it still disappeared quickly because I could not get enough. The matcha latte was pretty good too. The strength of the matcha was very middle-of-the-road - I think they got right in the sweet spot where people who like strong tea like me can enjoy it but it's also unlikely to offend people who like their drink milder. It came unsweetened which is my preference. A little pricey - with dairy milk it's $5.50 which is totally acceptable for 16oz, but nondairy milk adds $1.
If the cake I had is any indicator of the quality of the rest of their desserts, I would highly recommend trying a pastry and enjoying the positive vibe if you can grab a seat.

Its good for when you want to sit outside in the sun in the patio area (might not be many days given its Vancouver). Otherwise, not much seating indoors except a bar-style table in the summer. Its ok for an outdoor coffee meetup if you want to walk around and look at some stores after.

The dirty chai with soy is so beautifully foamed and flavourful 10/10
They have an option the get your drink in a mug and sit outside at the tables between the street, which is a great option and pet friendly! I find the staff are lovely and the prices are better than most places in the area

Incredibly aesthetic. Lots of little (read: pricey) home goods to peruse while you wait for a great coffee. Their lattes are superb. Cult classic are the English shortbread cookies (salivating as I write this). Not as impressed by their food offerings but would stop here for a coffee and to sit in the shared community seating in a heartbeat

They have really good beverages and pastries and most baristas are nice and friendly. Except for the guy who gave me a brownie today that had a white hair on it. I went back to change it, I didn’t complain, didn’t ask for refund, I just asked to have another one without hair. And he just said it’s not hair maybe just fluff or something (like it’s okay to have fluff on the cake for customers) I said it’s definitely hair, and it’s maybe a cat or a dog’s hair. He just ignored me and gave me another one in a rude way, like I was the one at fault. I said thank you to him and he just ignored me and turned away. It wasn’t a nice feeling, spending money on a cafe plus a small tip and to be treated with rudeness and disrespect. But you know what, I think the way I was being treated by the man was just due to the unfortunate covid sinophobia phenomena. Besides that, I would still recommend this coffee shop for their beverages and pastries. For example, this other barista who made my hot chocolate today made the most beautiful foam art I’ve ever seen and she made my day!

Such a beautiful and cozy atmosphere and incredible food. I would recommend their quiche to absolutely anyone. This would by far be my favourite spot in Vancouver if it wasn’t for the consistently unfriendly and frankly rude staff. I’ll definitely come again as the food is amazing but it is an absolute shame the customer service experience has been so bad on so many occasions for my friends and I.

Review applies to the baked items - in particular - its the almond croissant is fabulous. Perfect flavours. Perfect crunch. Not only. Thanks to the baker. Perfect sweetness. Thanks for baking such yummy croissants. The space now, is a bit sparse for seating inside. Inside is also very simple.

The cakes looks good too but super overpriced! A cookie with Americano was 7 dollars. I can get similar ones elsewhere for better price.

Had a great coffee here today and an excellent sourdough focaccia stuffed with potato and herbs. Delicious and unique.

We've been long time regulars here visiting at least once every week - in particular on the weekends.my wife and i even had some of our pre-wedding photos secretly taken inside the cafe:)! This is our favorite cafe in the GVRD.the female owner is a delightful, cheery and kind person - always ready to assist if needed - sensitive to her customer's needs.the food here is top-quality, freshly made every day and sells out quick, especially some of their more popular pastries and desserts that involve chocolate.in terms of authenticity, i can not say for sure because i have never been to france but my wife and i have visited quebec a couple times and it's no different than what is in quebec, but this is still our favorite.the place is always busy at all hours so that's got to say quite a bit about our love for this place and it's genuine mastery of french food!

The atmosphere was lovely, the food was fab. The fellow who served us was lacking in hospitality.

We came in one rainy afternoon and it was a perfect place to have a coffee. The space felt nice amd cozy. I had a latte and a delicious chocolate chip cookie. The service was friendly and efficient. I love their huge map display and their decor in general. I will definitely be back.

The coffee is great but like the others said, the girl behind the counter is EXTREMELY rude. Every single time I’ve been there she has been unpleasant and I’m not sure why she’s still there. Ruins the whole experience.

Awesome quiche. The best I have ever tasted. Staff was friendly and shuffled some folks to get the 3 of us a table.

Honestly so disappointed with the service of the workers here. Was enjoying everything and then I get up to go get coffee and leave my jacket/food/drink on the table, when I get back all my food and drinks are gone. I approach the guy at the counter, he told me that he got rid of it all because he though I was gone even though all my stuff was still there, he didn't offer me a new coffee or cake or anything. Disappointed with the service. Don't waste your time coming here

The food is delicious but, unfortunately, not the customer service. You just don't feel welcomed. I guess this guy doesn't like working there or he's just naturally haughty.

Super rude service.from The moment we walked in the girl barely made eye contact & looks upset/unhappy to be there/not a morning person perhaps.whatever it is.she shouldn’t be at the front! My husband had a conference call the moment we walked in & was interrupted by a staff member after 30 mins on the call to request he buy something or basically leave! Meanwhile I had bought a drink already that hasn’t even been done yet.if you’re going to run a customer service based business.learn how to speak to people & be kind or go sell something online instead where you don’t need to speak to anyone.
The coffee isn’t good, the service is horrible & I’ll be going to liberty cafe from now on next door. Peace.

Great little spot for a coffee and a snack. I highly recommend the quiche and the avocado and egg toast. Great selection of baked goods. Decent coffee. Great space. A little bit too much attitude from the counter person though.

Bei unserem Aufenthalt in Vancouver kamen wir bei Coco et Olive vorbei, wenn wir von unserem Airbnb aus Richtung Downtown liefen. Schnell wurde das Café zu unserer ersten Anlaufstelle im Morgen, denn der Kaffee ist brilliant! Das Café beschert einem mit guter Athmosphäre, leckeren Backwaren (ich liebe die Mandel-Croissants), exellenten Heißgetränken und nettem Service einfach einen guten Start in den Tag. Manchmal erhält man einen mit Blumen geschmückten To-Go-Becher - mein persönliches Highlight!

Worst customer service ever! The coffee is not the best, just go to other coffee shops, there coffee was so sour! The worst is that you are being "monitored" at all times. They will ask you to move/or leave if you don't finish your cup of coffee "fast enough". STAY AWAY!

Coffee and pastry was good, however coffee was cold and the apparently they have no way of heating it! $7.00 for a coffee and scone is a bit pricy for a self serve. All the finishings and decorating is old and nothing matches.
