Cole's Guitar Lessons

I am taking adult beginner guitar lessons with Cole. I really enjoy Cole's group classes. Each class has a wonderful group of people that learn songs together. At the end of each term all the adult students from his classes and individual lessons get together and play the songs that they are learned. There are usually a number of songs that all the students have learned and we play them all together. Cole has ideas for songs, but also teaches songs that someone from the class wants to learn. Cole is warm, supportive, welcoming and great at teaching. His teaching style is supportive and creative (as opposed to tough and structured). I highly recommend him!

My 12 year old daughter has taken weekly guitar lessons with Cole for over 3 years. Cole is an experienced guitar player and is a pleasure to see him teach children. He is gentle in his approach and patient with every kid. Children feel at ease around him, even the most beginner. My daughter looks forward to her lesson every week, but mostly he looks forward to see him! She says "he's really kind, patient and funny". He organizes a recital twice per year where children all levels are able to play in front of friends and family. It's amazing to see kids progress as time goes by. If you are looking for a guitar/ukulele teacher for your children, I totally recommend Cole.

Cole is a very dedicated teacher and a wonderful person, I am really happy that we found him. I am happy with my son's guitar classes and certainly reccomend Cole to anyone who is interested in learning or developing their music skills. I love watching the kids of all ages perform at the recitals and notice their progress. Each time I see more new students and even bands! Although my son is already pretty busy with his high school program and it takes him about 40 minutes to commute to Cole's place he never wants to quit the lessons as he likes them a lot.

I have been a ukulele student of Coles for the past 4 months. I’ve been impressed with his teaching style and his enthusiasm. He cares about his students and encourages us to advance and succeed. He prepares well for each class and is attentive to a student’s interests and progress. He follows up each lesson with an email practice schedule and a video review of the lesson. He organized a wonderful end of term concert and created a very safe environment for someone like me, a new musician, to preform. He offers lots of opportunities to play solo or as part of a group.
I really look forward to my classes with Cole and intend to continue to study with him as my private teacher. I highly recommend him as a teacher. He motivates me to work hard and to enjoy my ukulele.

Absolutely ADORE Cole's lessons! A very fun teacher to be around with. I like that he is very flexible with what music you want to learn.

He makes "recitals" to unite people with the same interests, which is an awesome way to keep people inspired! I've been going to Cole's lessons for nearly 3 years now. He is the one who taught me EVERYTHING I know about guitars. He helped me a lot and I really feel like I'm developing, which shows that Cole's lessons are very effective.

I recommend him to anyone interested in guitars and music altogether, no matter what level and age they have. Cole is a very good person and an even better teacher!
