Outright robbers! NEVER EVER go here! Half of my plastic bottles accepted anywhere else were rejected here. Should be shut down for stealing money from customers.

Do you think customer service they run things as well as they can and keep it as clean as they can

To the old guy who turned my boyfriend away yesterday after “not believing” our bag count because only 288 cans can fit in a bag not 300 I just came in this morning with a bag full of 350 cans hoping to run into you just to show you you can’t count and was happily helped by someone much more lovely. I think it’s time to get a new job:)

Very clean bottle depot. They are continuously tidying and ensure that the booth is clean when it's your turn. Definitely the best the choice in town.

Even before the reno it was pretty good for a recycling depot, but they have the new machines so you stick your cans and bottles in a tube and it tallies it up on the side and prints off a slip that you scan and it pays you out, fast easy and clean. There's also good handwriting stations and places to recycle mostly anything else beyond bottles and cans. Best recycling depot I've been to.

They switched over to a system where you have to feed your bottles and cans ONE BY ONE into a conveyor belt. VERY VERY SLOW NOW. I hate it. Some bottles get stuck in the belts and have to be pushed through with broom handles. VERY VERY SLOW. All in all, a tremendous mistake to convert over to this system. I'm never going back to this place. They aren't kidding when they say: "A family owned, award winning, environmentally conscious business looking to make change, one recycled item at a time. " Yup, one recycled item at a time. So slow.

Usually pretty decent, However in circumstances like this past weekend (June 25) NO machines were working & staff was zero help & couldn't even answer the phone.

Can get busy at times and you have to wait a little.the new is better than the old. I still think they will get a better system in years to come.still faster

Picked a good day and time to take my bottle collection in. Was able to get in and out easily in good time.

Busy place. The staff were super friendly and fast. I strongly dislike taking the bottles in but these people make it more bearable.

The machine that counts your bottles for you was out of order. Had to wait in line for about 30 mins. But would've been finished alot sooner if machines were working.

Polite and friendly. Never had a bad experience. I wish they would do anything at all to mask the smell of all those cans, but I imagine it's like sprinkling a forest fire with water from your hand.

It's. Well it's a bottle depot. Long lines, sticky bottles and a solid 5$ per hour. This one is better than most though

Was there this morning and the asian fellow with the mask on was extremely rude! I was standing in line with nobody in front of me so i proceeded to the counter and he flipped right out yelling and screaming telling me to get back so i stepped back and another customer came in front of me to collect her money that this guy had put in a empty flat. After she got her money i again approached the counter and he starts flipping out again, told him he doesnt need to yell at me! His coworker (another asian fellow with no mask on seemed quite embarrassed by this guys behaviour) after setting my empties down he put my refund in a empty flat and practically threw it at me. Think he needs to have more training in regards to customer service.

I have best experience always from last 7 years even when I take my kids with me too, excellent staff, very helpful, polite, specially in this pandemic. Thanks all the management and staff I’m very grateful

I didn't like the service, and how I got ripped off $30. One of the staff that was helping he disappeared for over 5 minutes. I'm NEVER going back to that bottle depot ever. Worst place I've been to on a long time. WORST BOTTLE DEPOT IN ALL OF KELOWNA!

Busy place. Staff is good. If you hit the right day at the right time, you can be in and out. If you have a lot of returns, a Columbia Bottle Depot location is great. You can only return a limited amount of stuff at grocery stores and not alcoholic containers. This place is your best bet.

Go there 15 minutes before they close and they have the gates locked. Pretty terrible way to run a place.

Staff is really great and accommodating. They count quickly, and you're through even faster if you've pre-counted. If you go during peak times, be prepared to wait a bit, especially after a holiday. It would be nice to have more registers, as there seems to be enough staff to run a third, but probably not enough counter space to do so.
