Colwood dental is an excellent model for business. Front staff are friendly, booking is easy and confirmed by text, ample parking, great hrs of operation and top notch hygienists and dentists.

I have been a patient at Colwood Dental for about 10 years - never had a bad experience. What's not to like?

(TW ableism, unprofessional advice, and unreasonable actions against people who live in the nearby apartments)

First off id like to start by explaining their unprofessional advice they gave to me before sending me off.

-so i have a permanent retainer (on my lower row of teeth), done by this dental group. I had braces for 4/&half years and was told "I shouldnt be telling you this, but you don't need to wear your night retainer because your top teeth aren't moving" (This is advice you should never tell your patent and i cant believe they said this, because its extremely unprofessional)

I live in the apartment building right behind this dental group, and ive never seen a group-
*disregard rules of a parking lot to the point of causing accidents, and not caring one bit
*Complain and call on the garbage company for picking up my apartments garbage
*Stops people with disabilities from using their parking lot to have an accessible way of accessing the sidewalk (which is attached to my apartments parking lot) They also threaten trespass if you ever walk across their parking lot.
*They act as if ive never been a patient and im "just trying to cause trouble"
*They would rather make up complaints then deal with actual problems, like accidents, etc.so to end this off, i would highly recommend not going to this dental group do to Ableism and unprofessional practices

They also create false reports just so that low income people get blamed for no reason. Again they will scream at you if your disabled and trying to cross their parking lot, while making up a bunch of stuff about you

I was extremely scared regarding wisdom tooth extraction, Dr. Robert walker did the most amazing job I could ever imagine! Soon after the numbing injection started working within Less then 5 minutes the tooth was out and I didn’t even felt the pain. Amazing clinic amazing staff highly recommended

Dr Walker is fantastic! Best dentist I have ever been to. Very efficient, honest and skilled. Hygienists here are generally ok. I have never seen the same one twice though. Regardless, a trustworthy dentist is worth the drive from Sidney for me!

I’ve been grinding my teeth since childhood so it’s safe to say I’ve spent a fair amount of time in Dental chairs.
Without question, Dr Kerr Williamson and the staff here at Colwood Dental are the best dental group I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. The entire staff from the moment you walk in are not only extremely kind and caring, but incredibly fast and professional. I can’t actually imagine going anywhere else after coming here for the last 3yrs and for anyone who might be afraid or nervous about dental work, I highly recommend this dental group. They’re all great just great people who really care from the front desk staff to the hygienists to the man himself.

I drive all the way from downtown Victoria to go to Colwood Dental Group. The office has sort of a warmth that most don’t, and everyone is very nice!

My hygienist Kim is wonderful, and Dr. Egger is also great! Apparently lots of the staff have been there a long time, which I think speaks to a good work environment.

I’ve had a lot of dental trauma in the past, and have been to lots of dentists, orthodontists, denturists, etc.and I can highly recommend this place!

The staff are amazing, from the receptionist, hygienist and Dentists. Always a positive vibe from the whole staff.

My hygienist is gentle, caring and professional. The covid protocols and procedures are excellent.

I had not been to a Dentist because of a terrible experience many years ago. Then broke off one of my front teeth. My brother recommended Colwood Dental Group to me. In just about an hour I left with a brand new tooth. Dr. King and his assistant made me feel so comfortable, I am no longer afraid of Dentists! His assistant Caitlyn I believe…my apologies, bad with names. She definitely picked the right career, she was excellent at calming my nerves. I am so happy with the results I will go back for sure. Highly recommend this office. All the staff is incredible! Thank you very much and will see you soon!

I had a “Root Canal” preformed by Dr. Lee and her lovely assistant. Very friendly and professional. They both made me feel comfortable
I would highly recommend “Colwood dental group”

This dental office s like a walk-in clinic there is no consistency with the doctors.
I used them last year and used two medical plans to pay for my visit and a month and half later they sent me a message claiming I owed them money still.
They are a rip off and I am not pleased with my visit at all the hygienist spend more time talking than actually cleaning my teeth so in turn I had to come back twice just to get a simple cleaning done. I am 42 and I have never even had a single cavity in my life but after my most recent cleaning by colwood dental I have been suffering with tooth pain and tooth sensitivity. Buyer beware this is a horrible dental office filled with rookie hygienists and the desk staff are unprofessional and very rude.

Nothing but wonderful things to say about Dr. Walker and his staff. Super accommodating and always so friendly. Have gone to see him a couple of times from the mainland and they have always done their best to accommodate my appointment time and worked in conjunction with other offices so that I didn’t have to make multiple appts if they could help it. Thank you so much and I appreciate you very much!

We’ve been patients here for quite some time now (myself and my 2 little ones). Kids started going at 2 years old and we have been very pleased with how kind and patient everyone in there is. They make the experience so fun and to top it off the kids get to pick a cool prize for themselves at the end!

Dr Andrews and staff are the best on the island. We moved up island and make the drive because other dental offices can’t even compare to Colwood Dental. I am an anxious dental patient and have always been treated with compassion, respect, professionalism and kindness. I don’t feel as anxious anymore because I’ve had such good experiences there. I always feel informed, heard and valued.

The whole experience was amazing for my toddler son. The dentist was patient with him and made him very comfortable but I would like to thank Caitlyn the hygienist for doing such an amazing job explaining things to my son and getting him comfortable and involved in the appointment. She explained everything to him so he understood and even let him help. The experience was fantastic and my little guy is excited to come back!

Both my dentist and hygienist were amazing. I hadn’t seen a dentist for a while and was quite nervous but they made me feel so much better than I initially felt

Rocky is a very friendly, and loving man. He just loves his family and loves his profession and wants to make patients very comfortable and he likes living Canada.

He is very concerned about not hurting his patients

The best experience I've had a dental office. Excellent systems, friendly staff and the most painless teeth cleaning I've ever had. As someone who has sensitive teeth and not the best history with dental work, I was nervous. However, I was blown away by the quick, thorough and comfortable job done by Alison. I can't say enough good things about her and I am looking forward to being back in six months for a check up.

I really liked Rocky, he is the best hygienist I have seen at the clinic by far. I liked that he took the time to read my chart beforehand, and knew where my sensitivities and concerns were. I really appreciated that he also took the time to explain everything he was doing and was really quick and thorough, and polite. I will be requesting him at my next appointments!

I've been coming to Colwood Dental Group for over 33+years and started upstairs first with Dr. Winters. Over the years I've seen a few different dentists and hygienists upstairs but due to changes in my health and not being able to do the stairs any longer, I have been very pleased with how well the dental team from upstairs have continued to accommodate me downstairs and have always ensured that I leave my appointments feeling comfortable and satisfied with the work that has been performed. It is for this reason that I am able to return and do keep coming back. Thank you Dr. Walker and dental hygienists, Rocky and dental assistant, Kathy who always are so very patient and accommodating of my health issues. Thank you all once again.
