My son has now purchased 2 bikes from commencal and they are incredible bikes! My son has been riding for 10 years downhill and we have used many BIG bike shops with so much disappointment In Squamish, but not from Commencal! The customer service we have received and the attitude of everyone working there is above and beyond! Not to mention the amazing warranty we got and a super fast turnaround. My son has never been happier then on your amazing bikes!

An absolute nightmare dealing with this company. Bought an FRS frame. Took 6 months to get it. Frame bent after 3 months from a pretty mellow case. They were very reluctant to give me warranty. Ive found lots of evidence online of people bending these frames in the same spot. I will not buy anything from this company again.

I pre ordered a bike with commencal a month ago. Since the order I’ve called them at least a dozen times and sent emails, trying to get more information. I’m a fan of the bikes, but the customer service doesn’t exist, from what I can see

Worst customer experience I have had.
I bought a new bike from the Squamish location in spring of 2020. Barley rode the bike that year in the bike park due to Covid.
As soon as I started using it in the spring of 2021 I was experiencing some resonance. The bike frame was vibrating when braking.
I visited Commencal twice. They told me there was nothing wrong with it. Gave it back to me in the same condition. I took it to 3 different mechanics at other stores and they all told me that they thought I had a ‘lemon’. Commencal spoke with all the other mechanics and the same information was communicated. Commencal did not want to listen.
Commencal then told me it was a brake issue. That I needed to change the brakes. They offered me a terrible discount on new brakes. I went elsewhere and purchased new brakes last year, 2022 to give them the benefit of the doubt even though I knew they had no idea what was going on and didn’t want to take accountability.
Nothing has changed. Now I have two sets of perfectly good brakes. The bike sucks and so does their customer service. To me this was an easy fix, do the right thing and help your customers.
So many emails were sent and received. I was and still am shocked about the whole experience.
Don’t bother replying to this Commencal.
It’s all excuses.

Do not pre-order a bike from them. Their shipping times are unreliable. Once my bike came in they lowered the price within weeks by $300 on the model I waited months for. When I questioned them they essentially told me to pound sand.

Bad experience, poor customer service, no one answers the phone, faulty bike from factory right out of the box with numerous issues, didn’t have very good solutions,

Update. They did refund the full purchase price of the bike & paid for shipping back because I was unhappy. And then basically told me they didn’t have a bike that would suit my need, politely telling me to take my business elsewhere. And that’s what I did. And now I’m much happier with a YT! Thanks for the recommendation! I recommend the same
