We hired Common Sound for their DJ services and their London photobooth. They are easily the best DJs in town, and their photobooth had a lineup all night! Will definitely be bringing them back for our anniversary!

When asking our friends who to hire for our wedding, Jesse was highly recommended by everyone and he did not disapoint! Common Sound was very easy to work with through the process. Professional and reliable and Jesse did a great job on the day of our wedding.

We hired common sound to provide mic and music at our wedding ceremony and reception in 2022. They were on time and professional and kept the dancefloor going all night! They played our chosen songs at key moments which was amazingly special. They also skipped ahead for songs that weren’t keeping the mood which was even more important. Thank you common sound!

I was lucky to have hired the guys at Common Sound for 3 of my kids grads. After the very first one I knew these guys knew how to create a fun (but safe) environment for the kids. My youngest sons grad was the first grad after all of the grads were banned at the large venues in Kamloops, so there was a lot of concern our kids getting into trouble again. However the DJs kept all of the kids engaged and having fun the ENTIRE night. Even when 4am came the kids still wanted more.

Jesse and his team were so great to work with leading up to, and on, our wedding day. I've been lucky to be at quite a few events DJ'd by Common Sound, but the last wedding I was in where I was a bridesmaid was what pushed me to leave a review.

Not only were the guys incredibly nice and had the dance floor packed all night, but they also put my best friend (and bride) at total ease on the day of. It seemed like everything that could go wrong did with the venue, but the guys just rolled with it and a couple of their suggestions made it feel like nothing wrong had gone on at all!

I was just blown away with their professionalism, their attention to detail, and despite being in one of the worst industries still affected by the pandemic, they were happy and excited to be there.

I wouldn't suggest booking anyone else other than Common Sound! Thank you!

Where do I even start? !? We used Jesse from Common Sound and it was hands down the best decision we made when planning our wedding. Music is such an important part of our life and of a wedding night and Jesse hit the nail on the head with the selection of music. Everyone was on the dance floor until the end of the night (our wedding was pre-covid). Common Sound made it an unforgettable and magical evening. I have also seen their DJ’s at hockey games, Pride Parades, friends weddings, etc. They knock it out of the park EVERY SINGLE TIME. I would highly recommend.

We hired Jesse at Common Sound to DJ the grand opening of our local lululemon. Jesse and his team were extremely professional, and played the best music to keep the energy going for our guests and the team.

Hired Jesse and his team for our wedding in October. We were having the ceremony outdoors, and the reception inside an older hall which we knew was known for its not exactly “good” electrical so we knew right away we wanted someone who a) had set up there before and b) knew what they were doing. Jesse and his team were both of those AND great at their job. They came not only recommended from friends, but also our other wedding vendors. Everything went great and super smooth. Someone had requested a bit of a.let’s just say “risqué” song and they asked me before playing it. I thought they meant a different song (which I did request) and when they realized that was NOT the song I was okay with, quickly changed it. They were also great at noticing when I liked a song but called pulled away from dancing to say goodbye to someone, and would replay it for me without me asking. Even though our venue was out of cell reception, the second dj (assistant?) would literally DRIVE DOWN THE STREET to go download a song someone had last minute requested if it wasn’t already on their set. We found this out after and were floored at the service.
And to the person who says they only play country. I don’t think we had any country unless it was a specifically requested song! And we had some weird song choices haha
150% would recommend Jesse and his team. If we have to do this wedding thing again, I’d hire them again for it. Money well spent.

Jessie at Common Sound blew away our expectations as the DJ for our wedding this past June. Jessie and his team were fantastic at communicating with us before the event and always had quick responses. On the day of the wedding Jessie was extremely professional but also very fun. He played different music that was totally our style for each part of the day and our guests really had a great time.
