The dishes are absolutely delicious, and they even organize Christmas events with performances by singers and lucky draws. The atmosphere is really pleasant.

Continental Seafood Restaurant is a delightful spot for anyone craving authentic Hong Kong-style cuisine. Don't come here, it's too bad to eat, I never even thought about the fact that shrimp dumplings can stick to my teeth! ! !

All-day dim sum with push-cart. Sizeable interior. Good atmosphere. Underwhelming food, too salty. More expensive than competing restaurants. Free plaza parking.

The waiters provide all kinds of meals in the way of pushing dining carts, and the overall restaurant looks very lively. The disadvantage of the dining car is that the meals do not have the feeling of being freshly baked, especially the cooking dishes are particularly obvious, but the overall standard of the meals is still quite good, it is worth trying.

Even if you line up, the waiting time is short because it is a card system, and the store is large, so the turnover is fast. The inside was mostly Chinese and lively. The meat buns and shrimp dumplings were especially delicious.

Frequent dim sum carts around the restaurants for selected dim sums. Huge dining dim sum plus a entertainment stage for special performers. Dim sum was good! (Bean Curd Rolls), BBQ steam buns, Pork dim sum (siu mai), Daikon pan fried patties was good! No discounts (maybe after 12pm) ? Great visit! (medium size) $7.20 each (Large) $ 8.15 each, tea was $1.50 each pot.

I hardly have dim sum in the restaurant. However, i always order the take out of their BBQ pork rice. It tastes good and they always have line up!

A good place for Chinese dim sum. Excellent BBQ products especially for BBQ pork and BBQ mini pig. BBQ box with rice are big and with lots of meats.

This place is amazing, first time. I dont speak Mandarin. And the staff knows good English. You don't order at lunch. They just bring you food and you say yes or no. I tried everything. Very good food and friendly, happy staff.

Amituofo we had a family reunion dinner there with our favourite dishes like Peking Duck in wrappers, squabs, lobster and crab, wonton soup, chicken chow mein, egg tars and black sesame dumplings. Service and food was excellent, everyone had an enjoyable time after being kept apart by covid-19. Highly recommended Amituofo

Food was great and staff was very good at bringing the cart around with different items. Dishes were very clean and there are lots of huge tv screens. Great place!

I have eaten at this restaurant several times, which to be honest was not by choice. I have some friends who always seems to choose this restaurant so I tend to be coerced out of politeness to go here a couple times a year.

The food is okay and the price is okay as well, what I dislike of this restaurant is that I find the food greasy.

If you eat at this restaurant you can expect decent portions and a decent meal but in my experience, you are probably going to need a palate cleanser afterwards to remove the grease feeling from you tongue.

Overall people do like this place but not the place for me.

Best old skool dim sum around! Not many places left with the push carts! Such a great nostalgic treat!

Visited this spot directly after landing at Vancouver. Our group of 5 was promptly seated and were quick to notice the cart-style dim sum at the restaurant. It was busy with diners and we got some rice rolls to start. Unfortunately, I think we hit a small lull in the day as we were constantly bypassed by the carts and there was limited selections on the floor. We did see other diners receiving direct orders so we inquired about the menu to the host and coincidently, a fresh wave of food arrived on the floor. The food was certainly edible but nothing out of the ordinary especially considering the price considerations.

First time customers and had heard favourable review from a co-worker.

We were treated today so no idea what dim sum prices are, however, the 2 dishes we ordered off the menu: Continental Chow Mein (crispy) and DF Squid w/ Salt & Chili were both $23.80. Both were excellent. Some may find this expensive, keep in mind food prices are high post-Covid and this is Richmond.

Quality and flavour as well as size and portions are good.
Staff are very nice and friendly, with prompt service.
Trolly cart service means you get food very quickly after seating, with not much lull in between.
We had filled our table too quickly, which means you might want to pace yourself for the other delicious offerings they have yet to come around with.
Coming from N. Delta where dim sum choices have been reduced to only one restaurant we were in dim sum withdrawals and next time we will exercise patience.

I would recommend reservations for weekends unless you don’t mind waiting in a line up. We had 10: 30am reservations on a Tuesday with it not being too busy until closer to noon.

Restaurant is fairly large with lots of tables.
Servers and staff are still masked, as per current stage 3 food industry recommendations.

Located in a strip mall with ample parking.

Food is decent, price is pretty expensive compared to the food quality. There are bunch of dim sum restaurants in Richmond and Vancouver have better food and price.

They are the only dim sum restaurant that is using a push cart to choose the food that you like to eat. This is the original dim sum thing and most people who are really into dim sum like this old fashion way. Their food also is good and the staff are really nice too

Went there for Diner, Staff wasn’t that friendly came up almost rude. I’m not coming back that’s for sure.

This place is always a go-to for me when I am in town. Love going to the take-out window for roasted pork on rice with veg, such a treat! Can't wait to come back, hopefully soon!

Super fast and efficient service. Food is always consistent. Friendly management. Very good at getting people in especially during these times.

Love their bbq rice. Good quality for the price. Their dim sum is pretty good too. Big portions.

Large restaurant w plenty of space for distancing. Went for dimsum as I was so missing this in covid. Food was more expensive than I thought it would be $46 for 2. Before covid it was around $30ish for 2.
But I'm glad I can do dim sum again.

Tables are very well spaced apart for social distancing. They have dim sum in push carts which are hard to find nowadays. My kids enjoyed seeing the food in the carts. All the staff are very friendly as well.

Friendly and helpful staff. Good quality and quantity of food. The Peking Duck is fresh and full filling, highly recommended. Spacious dining room and plenty of parking.

Consistently good, they are serving dim sum differently because of Covid19. You now order it off the menu and they bring it to your table. The tables are spaced very far apart. They are being very careful and the food was all delicious.

One of the few places that serves dim sum on push carts. A tradition that is not appreciated enough. Although the quality could be better for the price paid, when you need a fast lunch, this place is quite reliable.

Very fast dimsum service. Servers weren't rude or surly. Not a long wait for seats-about five minutes; we went at around 1 pm on a weekday. Food's good, with a wide selection.

One of the rare places left with trolley/push cart dim sum. Very authentic dim sum feel, but some I feel were left on the trolley too long. I'm still used to made-to-order dim sum. Very spacious and lots of room.

Large sized venue with a decent selection of dimsum fare. Some of the pushcart ladies could be more mindful though.

Fast service, great selection, traditional cart service, friendly & efficient staff, ambience is a bit dated.

I have been here only 3 times in the past 5 years, each time at lunch time with a big group of co-workers. We always make a reservation of course. We are seated quickly and the food starts to come by right away. It is absolutely delicious, and lots of variety to choose from. I only speak English and they are very patient when explaining to me what's in everything! I highly recommend this place for big groups. We always pay on 1 bill so I do not know what their policy is on splitting the bill.

I have been coming to this restaurant for 30 years! It continues to serve Dim Sum from carts, hot and fresh, consistent assortment. My favorite is to finish with the egg tarts.

Worst service for dim sum. The people pushing the food carts have no consistency. I got served only about 5-7 dishes for in 30 mins and no other food cart showed up again. This is to feed 4 people. There was one girl who came to our table with her cart. She had the worst attitude. She was just flinging the dishes' lid open in her cart like she was angry. Complained to the general manager about the lack of food carts coming down my aisle and he didn't really cared about it. Just went back to whatever he is doing cause restaurant was busy. Went to pay my bill which came to $60 for little food and they couldn't even get their act together. They got my bill mixed up with someone else's. Never coming to this place again! Dont even deserve that 1 star

This is one of the last few places with dimsum carts. The food is authentic and first class, like Hong Kong in the old days. Har gau, siu mai, cha sio bao. I highly recommend the rice noodle roll, loh mai kai lotus sticky rice. Prices can set you back $20-30 but the quality is well worth it.

I just love this place. I feel it is easily on par with "the best" dim sum places in Richmond. Been to others to try 'em but I stopped doing that. The Continental is the only place for me.

Food is typical HK dim sum, line up wasn't horrible. Considering we got their at noon on a Sunday we waited less than 5 minutes for a table. Extra points for one of the remaining few restaurants that still serve on push carts

My advice, arrive here early on the weekend. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The dimsum; the best I've had since coming to North America. It was fresh, hot and delicious.

One of the best chinese restaurant specializing in Dimsums which are delicious. Fast service. Ample parking space. Busy restaurant. Good dessert options. Tea served is also very good.

Went there for dum sum today. Got there around 11 am and it was getting busy. There was 4 of us and we didn't have reservations but we still got a table. The service was good and quick. Good variety of dim sum choices. Taste was good. This place gets the extra star because it still has the "push cart" dim sum service. Hard to find these days. You can still order via a waiter/waitress if the item (s) are not available via the carts. Good atmosphere and lots of tables. Price is ok - same as most places. Overall, I would recommend this place for dim sum.

Best dim sum around! And very friendly staff. The only place I know of that you get your food from carts going around the restaurant.

Found a curly one from down under in our first dish of a 10 course meal. Manager was hesitant at first but comped us with a free Peking duck.

The review was based on a single night time visit for take out.
Walked in for takeout around 9pm on a Saturday. Was greeted by the reception. She was nice so no problem with the service. Waited for 10 minutes to get my food which was quite fast considering the restaurant was packed. I ordered the BBQ fried rice and it was quite disappointing. First, the price was higher than I expected, and the food was poor in quality. There were 5 main ingredients in this dish, all of them below average. The rice was too hard, and the egg doesn't look like it's well mixed. Usually for high quality fried rice, the egg are thinly threaded and soft, which was not the case here. And there are those round green beans you know they are from frozen packages. This is a sign of poor effort. There is also green onions, which looked like left over from 2 days ago. Lastly, the BBQ pork came in a good portion, but nothing standout to me about the taste. In fact, I doubt that its also left over too. Maybe their other dishes are better but definitely not the fried rice.

The sevice excellent. I would like to try the dim sum. We were there for a large birthday celebration. The food was fresh and tasty.

Dim sum quality was decent. Priced a little higher than expected. Enjoyed the variety of dishes. Restaurant was about 70% capacity at 12: 30pm on a Friday.

This is one of the last cart service dim sum places. Love to have a relaxing and enjoyable Sunday gethering here.

I think this is the only place left in Richmond with carts for dim sum. Very busy and long wait times on weekends because it's such a good place. Good quality, fair service and cheaper than most places in Richmond. Parking is brutal though in this area but not the restaurant's fault.

My (very white) girlfriend has never had dim sum and was dying to try it. While in Richmond with a friend, we showed up at 8: 30 at night to Continental Seafood and were seated straight away by friendly staff. My girlfriend scoured the menu and, not seeing any dim sum options, asked the waiter. It was only then that we realized dim sum is breakfast/brunch cuisine. A little crestfallen, we decided to leave and we’re stopped at the front by the manager. He whipped out the breakfast menus and his staff did their best to provide us with as many dim sum options as possible. Our food arrived fast and was delicious. Then the band started up and everyone started dancing. We were the weird table of underdressed white folks enjoying our breakfast menu but not a single person made us feel awkward or out of place. We looooooved watching all of the waltzing couples. Left full of delicious food. Truly a memorable experience.
