Cook Street Castle

I was looking for an angled hinge that turned out super hard to find. After driving to a couple of hardware stores with no success, I decided to call around a little before I kept driving. I called the Castle store and explained what I was looking for. I requested if they could let me know if they had the item before I drove down there. The staff who took my call was very helpful, put me on a quick hold and were able to confirm that they had the item in stock. I went in, the staff helped me locate the item and I was on my way. A prime example of why brick and mortar stores still have a place, even when someone like me pretty much always prefers online shopping. Hint: it is good and personable customer service!

Saff are very good. Their key cutting machine never cuts properly. I went to a locksmith after and they worked just fine first try.

I literally saw a guy having a heroin nap behind the wheel of his pick up at 4: 00 p.m. At this exact intersection. The interesting thing was a homeless guy was fist fighting a ten pound bag of sugar just across the street, and no one was interested. I was. This place is rad.

Staff was very helpful even though we couldn't find the particular plumbing part that we were looking for.

I’ve been here a few times recently due to my boat renovations and the customer service is exceptional!
Today myself and husband went in to get some ply wood for our deck and the two men who helped us choose the correct wood and also cut it so it would fit in our SUV were very helpful! Good banter too! Would recommend 100%

This place has an amazing selection. The staff are so friendly and actually know about what they are selling.

The only place I have found that carries translucent colors spray paint for stained glass.

Every time we go to this Castle location we are delighted with their customer service. Once again a couple of days ago Dale's service was superb. Friendly staff who like to find solutions to whatever project we are busy with. Thank you very much. We'll be back again and again.

Great location for living downtown and they have everything. Staff have always been awesome. Competitive prices and a huge selection of lumber, tools and items for your home.

I ordered several glass and metal showcases from overseas that arrived without instructions and two were missing Cam locks. Making me 32 cam locks and associated hardware short for my project.

The lack of instructions already had me using some four letter words. Add to that I went to Home Depot Langford and Gordon Head and two Rona stores.

All sold out. I drove all over Victoria.

I quickly asked someone at Catle where the cam locks were and was given directions. I couldn’t find them.

I asked Maria for help and after we also couldn’t find them she remembered some they had squirrelled away.

I got on with my project! Hallelujah.
