I have been coming here for regular pedicures and acrylic nails & manicures for just shy of two years now, and it's absolutely wonderful. The owner Mai is incredibly kind, warm and caring, Monique (my regular nail artist) is awesome and funny, creates great nails that last & is always up for new and different styles!
I've also started bringing my son in to get his nails done, they're so good to him the second he walks through the door, and his gel polish lasts so long-it's cured him of his picking habit!
The pedicures are so well done, my feet have never been healthier.
We've gone with friends to other places (their choosing) and they're all so chaotic and disorganized compared to Cook Street Village Spa, it's just so nice to know that this little neighbourhood staple is my home base for self care.

A completely lovely relaxing visit, complete with massage chair and hand and foot massage to accompany my mani-pedi. What a treat!

I had an appointment at this Spa with Zaineb and she was super friendly, calm. Patient, she did excellent job on my eye brows to dyed colour and tell me what she will do step by step and she made me feel like at a home and very comfortable and relaxing, the service is amazing, friendly, I would go back again thank you

I came in for my first pedicure and at first I was nervous because I was a man going in by myself, but as soon as the lovely staff welcomed me in I was at ease. My pedicure from Tianna was exceptional as she took the time to make sure everything was okay and that I wasn’t uncomfortable. I was left absolutely relaxed and will definitely be coming back for monthly services. Thanks Tianna!

My absolute favorite place for a pedicure in Victoria! The staff is always so friendly and does an impeccable job. It's also such a steal for the massage chairs, scrub and hot stone massage included with the pedicure.

Also, I got my lashes done here, and it came right off 3 days after. Waste of money. Pls avoid this place at all cost.

Hard gel extension manicure / gel pedicure was around $140 with tip. After a few days polish from one toe came off. A little over a week two nail extensions broke off (one tucking myself into bed & the other folding laundry). Colour application was uneven & sloppy. Did not paint all the way down to cuticle like I requested so it looked like I needed a fill after 6 days. Unfortunately will not be going back.

Very pleasant experience. Nice staff and a welcoming environment. I enjoyed how they made it a private space for my friend and I when we recieved our pedicure. Loved the colour choice and attention to detail

My friend and I had a pedicure here the other day! It was fantastic and a great price! The establishment is clean and the technician was very good. A bit difficult finding parking but I am definitely making this my go to for Esthetics when I am in Victoria!

Best nail salon in town! Oh my goodness I won’t go anywhere else now. Myself and my 4 year old daughter went for pedicures yesterday and it was a wonderful experience. A true spa feel and such warm and welcoming staff made us feel like we’d been going for years! My pedicure was fabulous and with so many extras (hot stones, warm towel) that I was convinced it was going to be more than the $40 I was anticipating but nope this was all included! Not only that but they painted my daughters nails and made her feel so special! This is the best nail salon I’ve been to in years and great value. We can’t wait to go back!

Three of us went for pedicures and even though the other two people had minimal conplains, I did not find it to be a very good experience. The environment itself if pretty and relaxing, but would be nice to have the option to watch the TV instead of a single scenic image on a screen for an hour. The lady doing my pedi kept looking at her watch or out the window, seemed rushed and disinterested. I was finished way ahead of my group, with no cuticle work, half my toe colors had one coat and didn't match, my heels were still dry and cracked, and was told they only took debit or cash at the end. Sorry, but I feel a $42 pedi should be a better experience!

This is a fantastic place to have your nails done! The staff is always very friendly and professional. During this time of Covid they take every precaution to keep you safe. Ask for Monique! She rocks!

I had a facial at this spa a week ago now and my skin still has not recovered. It’s dry and peeling. There is a light layer of scabbing. I believe the scabbing is because the aesthetician would rub my face with a hot towel after she applied the products on my face. I had to ask her to be gentler with my skin-which I assumed she would be considering it’s the face. This review is not motivated by malicious intent. I feel that I have a responsibility to other clients to warn them. Before the facial begins please ask that the aesthetician apply gentle pressure to your skin if you have sensitive skin that is simultaneously prone to dryness.

A staff member at Cook Street Village Spa called me after I posted the above review. They were concerned about the effect of the facial on my skin. They asked if they could offer me a complimentary service. I declined because it is not my intention to be malicious or seek compensation: I feel that I have a responsibility to warn people with sensitive skin that if they choose to have a facial at this spa, they need to tell the aesthetician to treat their face gently- especially because rubbing the skin is common practice in this spa as communicated to me after the fact and this practice would be applied to other clients. Thank you sincerely to the caller for your concern.

So I’m a visitor to Victoria and this place was recommended by a friend. I stopped in as a walk in to see if I could get my nails done. Melissa was at the counter and said yeah sure, 20 minutes. This was the fastest and funniest manicure I think i’ve ever had. I highly recommend her, her sense of humour is awesome. The nails turned out great, i’m 100% coming back to this place.

I've been coming here since it opened a few years ago, and have always received great service. The techs are always so lovely and do a great job. I also would like to mention that everything is kept extremely clean and hygienic. I'm not usually the type to write reviews, but I feel I must make a point of mentioning my last experience as the business doesn't have an email. A few weeks ago, I got a set of acrylic nails w/ gel polish, after about four days, two of the nails came loose and fell off. I went back and asked if someone had time to just do a touch up, I was told very bluntly that there was no time (understandably) so I asked about the next day and was told basically the same thing. During my visit that day, I also asked to buy a gift card for someone else. The woman at the counter told me yes, and proceeded to look at the computer. A few minutes went by and then she began looking at her phone and texting while I stood in front of her waiting. I asked again about the giftcard and she apologized for "being distracted". She looked at her phone some more and then finally wrote the giftcard out for me. Upon leaving, I realized how blatantly rude she had been and how uncared for I felt as a customer. I later found out that she was in fact the manager, which was shocking. Unfortunately after this incident, I won't be returning.

The manicures are to say the least disappointing I have never been so displeased with a “spa” experience. They speed through and rush you out of your chair I will never be going back and I hope this will help anyone who thinks about walking through the door of that business to think twice.

Honestly one of the best mani-pedi places in Victoria. I've tried a lot of places in town. My nails are healthy and it's always a comfy experience. Yoona is outstanding!

My acne prone skin was in such a rut. I came to this day spa for help and was given one of the best facials I have ever had. Zaineb (One of the esthetician) took care to exam my skin and cleared out all my dead skin and congestion using microdermabrasion and extractions. The products used from the line Cara which is very natural and not heavily fragranced. The spa room and chair were cozy and comfortable. Price for amazing facial, treatment and massage was very reasonable! I would highly recommend looking beyond the amazing nails they do there and treat yourself to the many spa treatments available. I’ll be back!

Zainab hands down just gave me one of the best waxing experiences I’ve had in ages- if not the absolute best. So efficient, caring, professional, very thorough and amazing how she can communicate so well without being able to hear. Highly recommended
