An unfortunate break-in and attempted theft of my electric vehicle left it immobilized with a broken door handle. Both directions ICBC contracted Coquitlam Towing and Storage Ltd.drivers, Samir and Alex, maneuvered their flat-deck truck and my non-driving car around other vehicles while safely attending on a busy residential street. We are very grateful for their solutions and friendly demeanours. Thank you Christine for dispatching both ways and advising of their arrivals two of the best professional drivers.

COQUITLAM TOWING, Cayer street, Coquitlam BC … located at the bottom of the hill in Maillardville. After changing my Honda’s engine oil and transmission fluid on the weekend I thought it would be a good idea to flush my coolant as well. But in order to get access to my rad drain plug, I had to remove my air box from the engine bay, and in doing so must have done something to my mass air flow sensor so my car would not start afterward… So I called for a tow and in a bit after a few notification texts/ calls from the very pleasant and professional switchboard operator, Dan showed up after a busy morning to hook up my car and take it to the new Open Road Honda dealership in Burnaby. He was very pleasant and talkative as well and drove my vehicle in a direct and safe manner to where we had to go. Hopefully the dealer will be able to sort out my Murphy’s law issue and get me on my way to Pender island. Thanks to Coquitlam towing’s staff for making my day less painful…John K Welsh

My self created glitch was resolved by Open Road Honda after a 1 hour long diagnostic session…

Had an rv in a tight spot nobody wanted to deal with
Coqutlaim towing saved the day with skill and experience managed to wiggle my 5th wheel away from danger and back on the road and the price was really fair for the work they put in
No body else would help

The receptionist was very helpful and empathetic. When I picked up my vehicle, it was safe and in good condition

Roadside assistance got them to come jump start my car. They said it would take 10 min. I followed up a few times and they kept saying 5 min. They eventually came in 2 hours. If you can’t make it out on time it’s fine. Just give an honest estimate. It’s frustrating waiting around when told just a few minutes. I’d respect your business even more if you just say you’re busy and it might take a few hours.

30 minute wait turned into over 2 hours until I just cancelled because they didn’t seem to want to show up.

I called roadside assistance for a jump start service and they assigned this company to help. After waiting for 3 hours so I called them directly and they said they'll need another hour because they don't have the "equipment" for this service. A towing company without a booster? Avoid calling them for any services.

Complete rip off artists. $275 to bring a car from Port Moody to Coquitlam with zero storage. Stay away there are better options in town. Total joke fee on fee on fee. They charge what they want absolute crooks

These people don’t care at all about the safety or condition of cars. My car was damaged in their lot

Worst customer service and company I ever had to deal with and I won't recommend them at all. I called them around 11: 30 and 5.5 hours later they told me that they have to deal with another call and also the attitude she gave me as if I wasn't important to them.

I called for tow when my pickup was down at mobile gas at superstore, a young woman driiving a tow truck arrived shortly and was totally friendly and automotive knowledgeable, even got my truck started, she is a credit to that business

Not recommended their service, it’s No star. I had a terrible customer service experience They towed my car and there wasn’t a single sign on road, or information where they took it. It took me 1 hour with my two kids in hot day with poor internet reception at Belcarra to find out where to pickup my car. The drivers and they entire team had a picnic and sitting eating food on shad and satisfied with how many cars they towed. They are unprofessional, impolite and rude.

Thiefs. Had a pair of sunglasses and an expensive scarf in my car when it got impounded. The day I pick it up, I'm missing both of said items worth over a value of $400. The RCMP should be held accountable too for not noting down the items inside said car. If you're ever towed from these people, make sure to take pictures and or take your stuff from your car-or get a lawyer if it's too late.

So apparently less than 24 hours, if crosses over after 12 am counts as 2 storage days. If you want customer service to ask you "You know how a day works? " call them. Don't even deserve a single star.

Very, very, very wait time until they arrive to get your car. If you are patient, it’s ok. More than 1: 40 hour at least to get your car tow after you call to open a service. So bad.

Couldn't agree more with the previous comments regarding the rude arrogant receptionist in the office.

Holy moly. 80% of the reviews are all about stealing? OMG. Guess what they stole some very expensive thing in my car as well. I forgot to clear and grab some of the valuable things in my car before getting towed by COQUITLAM TOWING, and 1 day later some of my things were missing. So i called them to check the surveilance and they will call me back once they done checking and yet no call back. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS TOWING COMPANY. PERIOD. If you decide you going to use their service just make sure you take all important stuff from your car. AGAIN I DONT RECOMMEND THIS THIEF.

This company does not even deserve a star. This company is very unprofessional especially the arrogant female receptionist from the office. She surely did a great job in putting a negative impression on this company.

We made an appointment with them to pick up our belongings in the vehicle right on time. When we arrived to the location, there was nobody to help us so my sister called the office. The receptionist told her to wait 15-20 minutes as the tow guy had to complete a police report. We understood and waited till 40 minutes but nobody came. My sister phoned the office again and the receptionist told her that they don't know when the tow guy will be at the tow yard. There was no single word of an apology during the entire conversation with her and she basically told us to 'wait or leave' after almost 1 hour of waiting. She said in a I-don't-care manner that "we are very busy right now and if you can't wait, just leave and come back some other time". Then I phoned back to ask approx.when we would be able to pick up our belongings then she went very snappy. She truly knows very well how to make a person frustrated and worsen the situation. We did not mind that much waiting for the tow guy due to the unexpected police report as things can happen but it was her arrogant and bossy attitude from the start till the end that made us very frustrated.

To that female receptionist, we know that towing companies are very busy especially during rainy days so you do not have to tell me multiple times that you are busy. And please do not lie saying you did say sorry and you never yelled. You never said sorry once but hung up the call repeatedly because you were also getting frustrated when my family was waiting more than 1 hour outside in the rain. If you actually showed a bit of empathy, the situation would've been whole a lot better. Even a robot would be more empathetic than you and be better at defusing the situation.

Also, the tow guy's attitude was not much different from the receptionist either. I would give -100 negative stars if I could.

My car broke down on the Mary hill bypass and it was dark out I was panicking and stressing out, so I called Coquitlam towing and the lady that answered her name is Paula I think, well
she was very polite and extremely helpful. She acted in a very professional manner answered all my questions and then she said she would have someone there within 30 min and they were there in 15 min, I am so pleased with the service I received and will definately be using them again. Thanks Coquitlam towing.

Still have a "fuel surcharge" of 17% that's criminal considering the price of fuel is at its lowest in years.

Find it odd seeing these terrible reviews, I had a great experience with them, My car was stolen, then recovered. Coquitlam towing kept us informed and I found them to be really nice and helpful.

They just care to make money whatever the situation is.
They towed my car yesterday while I have a visions card in my car, but it fall down on the driver chair. They know now people without income.they should give me a warning first. I got charged $190.

Coquitlam Towing routinely patrols the streets and removes vehicles illegally. It is literally theft and extortion but the RCMP won't bat an eyelash because they'll insist it's a bylaw issue. If Coquitlam Towing tows your car because of a "parking violation, " and you did not receive a valid Notice of Bylaw Violation, then your car has been stolen and towed illegally! When this happened to me, luckily the Village of Anmore convinced Coquitlam Towing to refund me. Anmore says illegal towings happen all the time. Coquitlam Towing is run by petty criminals who have no regard for the people they screw over.
