Cora Breakfast and Lunch

We ordered pancakes and the new Montreal smoked Ben et Dictine.
The holiday sauce Was awful and the dish was very very cold I thought they took the fries out of the fridge. The bread was old and tough. The only good thing on my dish was the fruit that I can have at home too
The pancakes were average and definitely not as good as it was once before. A huge disappointment for the quality drop at this restaurant. I used to really enjoy their food before.

I don’t want to even get started on the costumer service. The guy who served us was very tired and serious looking, we decided not to tell him anything about the food and the mess at the table.

When he brought the syrup for us, the bottle was covered with syrup and dripping all over the table. Made the table so sticky.
Overall the experience wasn’t good, the food wasn’t good and we won’t return for sure.
The 2 stars are for my poached eggs and the fruit.

Basic breakfast! Good portions. A bit expensive for what it is. Great service! Everyone must try the beans!

Skillet was good with ok portion size. We liked chorizo omelette little more but both were decent. Service was good though we didn’t get the seat we liked despite table being empty. Quite an average or slightly above average brunch restaurant I would say. Also the food came out bit late than we expected.

Servers are so rude, there was busy and no space to wait inside, we were outside and they just removed our name. They didn’t accept our baby and said all our sits are for 4 people. I never come back and suggest you to don’t waste your money

The staff didn't really seem interested in coming over to the table. You make eye contact and it seems like they are coming. Which they will, but after they chat for a few minutes.
I made eye contact and it was only on the third time when I started to get up out of my seat to pay for my cheque that the waitress brought over the machine.
In all honestly, I have been wanting to try this place for a while as I drive by almost 5 days a week.
From my experience today, I don't see myself going back at all.

Honestly, I prefer the Cora located in the downtown. The potatoes looks like cooked last night.

Food was decent, nothing I would go back again for! $1 kids menu made it attractive slightly.

We had a table of 5. Was told to squeeze together as they didn't want to sit those waiting on the other side that they've cleaned. Customers walking in shortly before 3pm closing was turned away! Who turns away customers these days? !

Food excellent, service not much look like overwhelmed and no organization and properly attention in the hostess section.
. Actually there is no hostess so people who arrive are confused because service people don't pay attention to them.looks unorganized

Went here for breakfast last week with the mrs. Ordered a western omelette, but asked them to hold the meat. Repeated and confirmed holding the meat due to dietary restrictions. 20 minutes later, dish comes out cooked with the meat. When I told the server, atleast she was apologetic so a point for that, but then turned around to say there's not anything they can do as now its 2.30pm and the grills are turned off, so they can only waive the dish from the bill. I understand mistakes happen, but kind of a difficult situation when they mess up the order severely and then do not even offer a replacement, and now you dont have a meal to eat either.

Came here for brunch, waitress gave us an attitude. Food took 2 hours to come for 5 of us. When the food came the bacon was nearly raw, potato wedges burnt on the outside and cold on the inside (appliance too hot), pancakes slightly undercooked on inside. Horrible expierience compared to the other chains. 0/5

Very bad service this morning, the server gave me a hard time and made a few unacceptable comments which made me not feel like finishing the food and I left after I paid and my plate is full. Didn't expect this morning to start with this

Very poor experience. Arrived and put our name down third on the list for three. We were told it would be 15 minutes until we were seated and 25 until we got food. 25 minutes later we had still not been seated and neither had the two groups in front of us despite enough free tables being available. When we asked why we had not been seated yet, we were told that the servers were too busy. Not only had we not been given an update at all in terms of our wait time, but also, there were many servers moving very slowly and even just standing around. Even if they were truly too busy (which is very hard to believe from what we saw), the communication to those standing in line was unacceptable.

Cora San is the nice and cool sister compared to IHOP, the food and fruit are always fresh, the service is really fast and the portions are always generous, I recommend to ask for coffee because you will have all the refill you want and go and try different options, they have so much combinations for breakfast sometimes can be overwhelming in a good way

Service was prompt, as we were attended to in the most polite and professional way. Ambiance was rustic and lovely. Meal was tasty and healthy within limits. Lovely

This is the slowest service I’ve experience ever, first we needed to wait for our server around 15 min, other servers couldn’t take our food order, just drinks, don’t know why, after that another 20-30 min waiting for food.
What’s more annoying is that people who arrive after us got their food first.
Food was okay and the severs weren’t bad, it was just sooo slow, and it was a Monday morning, I can’t imagine how’s gonna be in a Sunday morning.

The service is bad compared with the one in Robson, the waiting time for seating was 30 minutes even when we saw clean tables, after they took the order we had to wait more than 40 minutes for the food, we order a french toast and was burnt, the crepes with almost no filling even when we asked for extra, the servers and the kitchen need more training

Waited over an hour to receive our food. Most of the order was wrong. This happened to tables around us as well. The staff and manager didn't seem to care much. Honestly, just go to the Coquitlam location, so much better. Never going to this location again!

Pathetic customer service, ordered a pickup and was asked to wait for 20 mins after receiving ready for pickup notification. No thank you, won’t return again.

Way to overprice, all the 4-5 star reviews here are fake/dishonest. Food bad quality, tasteless, portion size small, cost me $14 for a tuna sandwich, but didn't come with any fruits that was shown on the picture, and burrito crepe looks like it came from a garbage can.

A bit difficult to find and they were light on the hollandaise sauce, but I ordered extra hollandaise to compensate. Delicious food! Perfect breakfast / brunch experience! Try the Brunch Burger with added ketchup!

I love Cora. That's my favorite breakfast/ branch place. That's why it is usually busy. I visit there every week on weekday and always have to wait little bit to get seated. Menu is awesome. Waiters are very nice. I bring there all my friends. They check vaccination.

Ordered 9: 30am for pick up order. Got there at 10am. They told me a couple minute wait they were packing my order. Waited 30 minutes, and finally got my order, but missed two items when I got home. While waiting, seeing the fellow who packed my order kept scratching his head while touching everyone's toasts.and cook with mask pulled down.

American breakfast restaurant that you get big portion of food with good service. A good day begins here. Ground parking available.

Not bad for breakfast. They have some Gluten free options.well still the same blah fruit salad with cheap gluten free cereal. No watermelon or cantaloupe. The only good thing was that the waitress Sierra was amazing.they have to improve the Gluten free options.

Well not as good as has been a bit disappointed. I had the Club with fried potatoes and my wife had Bacon eggs with potatoes and toast. The potatoes were not cooked very well and my club was a slippery mess! Asked for water no ice, found out it was just tap water which was terrible. It was about 1/2 hr before closing but still wasn't impressed.

We waited 35 mins for our COLD breakfasts to arrive while at Cora on Kingsway last week.
Terrible will NEVER go back. Staff and food should be rated NEGATIVE 1 stars. And the woman who owns the Coras should be told about this location.

Amazing selection of breakfasts. Also love all the fruit. The service was good even though they were packed. Some of the ingredients like the bacon and sausages were not brilliant but definitely good enough to eat them all.

Seriously the best breakfast place I love most, if I could afford going here every day I would visit all the time, healthy and fun times each time, thanks Cora.

Good food, coffee was fab. Our server was great too. We stayed and chatted for a long time and they never once told us to get out and the place was getting busy.

Went to the restaurant today with my buddy of mine and we were ask to show the id and vaccine passport but they didn’t have the machine how disappointed they should let people in without the muchine if you need the vaccine passport if it mandatory

Cora's a¹ wonderful breakfast place. Friendly Service, clean resturant, good food. The server was constantly smiling whenever she came to serve us. We had a Tomatoe & Green Onion Omlette, potatoes & toast. Substatuted Bacon for 2 Turkey sausages. I would highly recommand Cora's to Breakfast lovers.

It's was 65.00 for our breakfast. It was cold. No cutlery, no jam no peanut butter which we asked. Took an hour and a half when they are located 10 mins from our house. Uber driver great. Other

Absolutely love the food at Cora's

HOWEVER, be warned that the speed of service here is UNBEARABLY slow. The server was very nice, but took forever to take our order and to give us the bill.

If you're not a fan of unnecessarily sitting for an extra half hour in a resteraunt, I'd go to the downtown one, but if you're in no rush the food is always great here!

Placed an order for pick up and when I got to work the order was missing items. Called in and all I got was sorry I forgot to pack it in. They didn't even offer to bring it to me as I'm down the street but couldn't leave work! Very disappointed with the service and professionalism.

The food really tasted so good, especially the potatoes and fruit was A+. Highly disappointed with the latte and the wait time at 12pm on a Sunday was over an hour.

Decent place for brunch but I was expecting a larger omelette. Seems like they skimped on the egg white a bit since it was super thin. Bread was well buttered and potatoes and fruit were tasty. I tried to substitute my bread for extra fruit and they said no subs allowed. My husband wanted to sub the bacon for something non meat and they wouldn’t allow him to have fruit, tomato etc either. They only offered a black bean pattie (which was not bad). They need to be more flexible with substitutions.

We always leave with a happy tummy and heart. They serve delicious and healthy breakfast food. The service is friendly and very quick. I love this place!

Absolute mess service. Disorganized and slow. Food comes out cold. Lost my order and didn't wanted to refund. Expect the worse.

Always consistently delicious food and generous portions. The plating stands out because of how they arrange the fruit. Service is quick and friendly. It's worth the price and the short wait (~10-15 minutes on a weekend around 10: 30AM). This is quickly becoming one of my top brunch spots.

Lots of selections for breakfast. Fresh fruits & hot coffee are nice. Servers are friendly. Definitely will come back again.

Easily the best place in VANCOUVER to have breakfast. The same quality standards in each one of their stores. Totally recommended.

Amazing food, great service from everyone. It is like they all work together to take care of all their customers. Heather was great and very friendly!

Had an ok experience. The food was ok, ordered eggs Benny and the spinach tasted like fish, so I couldn't finish it. The fruit was bruised. The service was ok, the hostess never came around to fill up our coffee and when we asked our server for a fill it was dismissed saying "there's a hostess coming around " we saw her come around to a few tables but that was it, never made it to ours, or more than half the tables there for that matter. Food is also a bit overpriced specially considering the service and all that. Prob won't be back, at least not at the Burnaby location.

Service was good but food quality was not. Had the brioche french toast. Bread was dry and dense and too overpowering of cinnamon.

Super busy on the weekends. Try to go before 11am or expect long lineups. Weekdays are quiet except on stat holidays. Most staff are pleasant and wants to be there. While some staff just can't wait for their shift to be over and are the unhappy and grumpy staff.

This brunch is sooooo good! I love it. Fruits are fresh and not icy, well cut. The tuna melt is full of tuna, great taste! Burrito crepe tasted great too, not filled with beans but scramble eggs and fried mashroom&onion. Great service. 5 stars for sure!

First time at Cora's, Geena the server was incredible. I hope everyone gets a server like her. Food was amazing too. But Geena stood out the most

Great service tasty food. Gave me a smal-ish amount of hollandaise but i didnt want a lot anyways. Im sure they would give me more if i had asked.

Breakfast was leisurely with fair service, heavily leaning to French Canadian favorites crepes and maple syrup, makes an interesting change.

Nice food, the staff members were great, especially Chelsea. Mountain of bananas waffle and banana strawberry smoothie was good as well.

It's a great spot for a casual breakfast. I did appreciate their wide variety of menu choices and the service was good. I got the breakfast poutine, it was ok. Pretty on par with something like Denny's. I don't know that I would go out of my way to eat here again, but it was a good experience overall.

Food was OK. Wife got a meal that normally came with a side of Bacon requested without as she is Vegetarian. They sub only protein for protein - not a problem to not getting more fruit; eggs don't count as protein - still fine will just take the same meal without Bacon. She bit into a fat piece of bacon hidden in her Potatoes. Server apologized - wasn't her fault and she was training. Surprised nothing was taken off the bill at all.

Such a wide range of food options for breakfast! Portion size is good and servers were really friendly and welcoming.
